My camera shutter is frozen on my 4S. Some camera apps work, but is there a solution to this? I hate not having FaceTime.

Basics frrom the manual are restart, reset, restore.

If a reset doesn't work, you probably have a jammed shutter. Send it in for a check.

A new plug-in will support all the older cameras, so a plug-in that supports the newer 6D will also support the older 60D.
The 60D needs at least ACR 6.2.
The 6D needs at least ACR 7.3.
PSE11 ships with ACR 7.1 but can be updated all the way up to ACR 8.0.

I am trying to download CS6 onto a new computer and the file downloads quickly but the unpacking process is moving at a speed that will take days to complete. Is this proper or is there an issue?

Can anyone provide any tips on how to get the stand alone version of cs6 onto my new computer in a timely fashion. I have the serial number from my account but the unpacking process is taking a ridiculous amount of time. When I purchased the CS6 version on an old machine the download process was speedy and efficient.

Then it should be the same. Perhaps something on your computer is reducing the speed. Such as virus program, firewall, several background apps running, low on ram, low on drive space, and so on.

Why won't my camera shutter open?

I can open the camera app and it doesn't crash but the shutter will not open and after a while the screen just goes black. I recently replaced my battery so I figured that had something to do with it so I went in and made sure the camera was connected to the motherboard correctly and it is. Internally everything looks perfect. I tried restarting and resetting my systems settings. I refuse to restore because it is a huge hassle. It would be great if anyone could find a way to fix this without a restore.

Camera shutter sound always on full volume

Every time I go to my camera app to take a picture. The shutter sound always goes off even though I have my phone on silent or on vibrate or even on the lowest volume. I restore my phone a few hours ago and it's still doing it. Is there a way to remove the sound or what ? Please help.

Kindly try this:
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Smart Connect -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data.
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Audio settings -> Clear data and restart your phone.
- Then go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again

Iphone 4s camera shutter - frozen

I have had my iphone 4s three weeks, and as on Sunday camera shutter is 'frozen' launches camera, but then shutter will not open (front or back. Have closed in background and re-opened, have disabled in restrictions, and then re-enabled, switched on and off (many times) let battery die and recharged and have resynched it. I am on latest IOS. Any other suggestions/ideas?

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have been through ALL of the troubleshooting steps and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for investigation.

I read it, in that case (holding sleep/wake + home until iphone reboots): I have both rebooted and resetted my iPhone several times. Still without camera shutter.
I have also removed and again installed several apps that use the camera, without success.
The last time I'm sure the camera still functioned properly was January 1st.
I have also force-quitted all apps from the background.
Also, the flash on the rear of the phone does not work as it should. I have an app that enables it (Light as SpringBoard name), but the app does not respond to the on/off toggle and the flash just goes on and off randomly (not as strobe!) and uncontrollable.
(I feel like David Attenborough saying camera shutter so often, "And this is a camera shutter: ...")

So I've had my iphone 4 for about 3 months now. It was working perfectly until last week. The camera shutter will not open for some reason. I can't use the front face or the regular camera. This also does not allow me to facetime. I would turn off the iphone, cancel all the apps, and SOMETIMES it would work, but now it just doesn't. Now the weird thing is that when I downloaded third party camera apps from the apple store, my regular camera was working, but my front face camera was not. Also facebook allows me to snap photos, but not front face photos....
I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue, only because my iphone was working perfect for months before this problem occurred. Should I restore it?
I've had such terrible luck with iphones, if i can't do anything about it and Apple has to replace it, this is the second time i'm going to have to replace the phone since getting the iphone in april.
PLEASE HELP!

Have you tried closing the Camera app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I've tried a hard close on the camera app. I've tried turning the phone off and on again. The camera is not restricted. It seems to be a software problem but I don't know how to download a new driver if that is how these phones work. Please help.
