My iPhone 5 is no longer charging. It'll charge for a bit and then a pop up will appear saying that the phone is not longer charging because the accessory is not supported. This is the third charger I use. What may be causing this?

What can cause te chargers not to charge the phone? It's not the cable because I've changed it a few times. Must be the phone, right?

Clean the connector.
Try a different cable.

When I download photos to my I-Mac and then try to open them, It says that I don't have permission to view them. I have been using the computer for several months without this problem, but it has appeared within the last two weeks.

When I try to open my downloaded photos from a DVD through finder the computer says that I don't have permission to view the files.
This is something that has just happened recently.

Copy the images to your Pictures folder or Desktop and then try again.
If that doens't work, then do #6 here, (Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs)
that will set the permissions to you.

My iPad keeps losing its network connection. All of the other wireless devices in my house are fine. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

I have an IPad 1 with 16 G of memory and wiFi only. For the last 2 days it has been dropping off of the wireless network repeatedly. I have a wireless laptop next to it that is fine. I am working where I normally do and have had no problems until the last couple of days. My other IPad works just fine and my macbook pro is also having no problems. Does any one have any idea where to begin troubleshooting?

Got the replacement iPad2. Synced it on itunes, put in my old SIM card, and tried it out. I was heartbroken when it had exactly the same problem with wifi connectivity! Dropped my home wifi connection every few minutes or seconds. Had to be prompted to find home network.
Then I tried turning OFF "Ask to Join Networks" as suggested by another poster on Apple Support. Suddenly, I had steady wifi connectivity. I left it that way overnight and even when I woke it from hibernating, it was still connected to wifi!!
Thinking I found the answer, I decided to go back to my original iPad2. I had previously used "Erase All Content and Settings" when I received the replacement iPad2 and so, had to Restore from my iTunes. After doing that, my original iPad2 now holds a wifi connection!! (And I did NOT turn off "Ask to Join Networks".)
So was it fixed by my erasing all content and settings and then restoring it back? Maybe. I called Apple Support again and they did not have any answers or suggestions. They did say that turning off "Ask to Join Networks" would have no effect on connectivity but it did stop the iPad to keep prompting me to choose a network to join!
I would be interested if this "fix" works for anyone else because I see it is a fairly common complaint.

Sometimes we can get past that one by disabling the Bonjour Service prior to the install.
In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Since this is an XP machine, which version of iTunes do you have installed? Is it the latest version?
Have you tried starting iTunes, attach the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the 30-pin connector end of the cable to the iPod...that is the recovery mode but also should make iTunes see the iPod.
If that doesn't work you may need to take the iPod back and have it tested by the genius bar techs to make sure the connector is not bad.

When I click on the iCloud icon on my computer systems tray, it brings up my active selections, but then shows the following message: "ApplePhotoStream.exe has stopped working"..... Then, it shuts down the program and says I will be notified of possible solutions to the problem. It has done this for several weeks, and I have not received notification as to what's going on.
Is anyone else having/had this problem, and what is the solution to fix it????
This is keeping my photos from being streamed to my other iOS devices, that I have synced.

Everytime I close Firefox and then try to reopen it, it says that I am unable to do so as Firefox is already running (even though it's closed) and I have to restart my laptop all the time.

For about a week now when I have closed Firefox down then I try to reopen it the screen message states that Firefox is already running and I have to restart my laptop every time. This is becoming very frustrating and time-consuming.

I have the same problem on my notebook but I don't restart. Just do the control, alt, delete and bring up your task manager. Then scroll down to Firefox, end process and close. Now you should be able to restart FF. Not a fix but better than having to restart your laptop.

check the lightning socket doesn't have any debris or fluff partially blocking contact
use air duster to blow out or very carefully, or a tooth pick ,best to use air to prevent any possible damage
if clear take it to an Apple store genius bar

Could you specify the model of MacBook and the OS X it's running, please? Some of the advice or references vary along with the system, so this could be helpful to formulate a reply. I've never used a Guest User selection, but do have more than one User.
If the computer does not have an optical drive, you may be able to boot it into a recovery disk mode or something; in an attempt to see what is wrong and maybe fix it.

By twice, I mean is there at least two copies of the same Time Machine data? Backing up several times a day with Time Machine does not yield two distinct separate restorable sources. Only one is made.

When I close Firefox and then try to open it, it says it is already running and I have to close it which I can't do. The only way to open it is to first restart my computer which is a pain. If I can't fix this I will use an other brouser!

I am not sure what more I can tell you. I close firefox. So when I click on the icon it should allow me to open it again but I get a message that says it is already running. Either close it out which I can't do since I already did that or restart the computer.

Try holding control, alt and delete down in succession and then a dialogue box will appear with windows task manager. Once open click on the Processes Tab and look for firefox.exe. Highlight this and then click end process. It should come up with a warning but just click Yes. This should then close firefox and allow you to reopen it from your desktop without shutting down your computer. Hope this helps.
