My iPhone will not power on. When on a charger or plugged into a computer, the apple logo will come on for a few seconds, go off within a second, then come on every minute or so and do it again. This is all without ever actually powering on.
I have tried all methods of resetting and it still does the same thing. iTunes does not even recognize the phone. Any ideas on the issue?

If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

I understand what you are trying to say, but the device is not fully operational, or you wouldn't be here. Does the device go to logo, then turn off, then go to logo again? If not, then you need to first try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If that does not help, then restore from backup. If the restore from backup is not successful, then restore as new, not from a backup. If the restore from new is not successful, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store or Authorized Apple Service provider, depending on your location and have the hardware checked. HP Palion dv7 Notebook PC will not power up when power button is pressed.
My HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC will not power on when the power button is pressed. I have removed the battery, unplugged the AC adapter and pressed the power button for 15+ seconds then plugged in the AC adapter and pressed the power button for 15+ seconds. Then I release the power button and then press the power button again and the Notebook will power up and operate normally. I can reinstall the battery once it has powered up. What is causing this problem and how do I remedy the problem?

Unfortunately there could be a number of different things that caused that issue from drivers, software, possibly hardware. I am glad you got it up and running but there isn’t a clear picture of what actually caused. If a technician got the chance to work on it then they could at least narrow it down.

Laptop will not power on when I press the power button. It is fully charged. The only light that will come on is the light indicating that it is fully charged. I have tried removing the battery and then putting it back in but that did not work. I use this laptop for college and it is time to go back to school. Please help!Try a hard reset, works sometimes.Disconnect all external devices first.
1-remove power cord and battery
2-press power button for 30 seconds
3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.
4-try power on

Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

After installing the above mentioned update, my ipad will no longer turn on. I have just a black screen with the apple logo when I attach it to a power source. Anyone else having this problem, please advise on how to fix.
IF RESET DOESN'T WORK, FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. It's just the battery sign - nothing else. I've tried to reboot by holding down both power and home key for 10+ seconds, waiting for the apple logo - but nothing happens. It's plugged into the imac at the moment. I tried to recharge it overnight using the normal charger - but no luck. It went dead during a Skype call with a friend - even though it was powered into the mains - albeit at a low battery level at the time

If you've tried the basic troubleshooting steps (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new), and you've tried charging from a wall socket and these all fail, then you have a hardware problem.
