This has the best chance of fixing your issue if its not hardware related. If it does not fix it then you may want to consider setting the ipod up for service:

My ipod nano 7th gen has suddenly gone black and it wont turn on or connect to a power source.

I was listening to my ipod nano 7th gen when it went black and the music stopped playing. It wont turn on when i press the power button and when i connect it up to charge the screen doesn't turn on. Can anyone tell me how to turn it on again or give me suggestions.

IPod nano 5th Gen appears in Finder but not iTunes

I am trying to restore my 5th Generation iPod Nano, but it will not show up in iTunes 12.0.1.26. It does however appear in Finder as a disk image allowing me to access certain directories, like Calendars, Contacts, DCIM, Notes, and Recordings. I've tried resetting the iPod, putting it in Disk Mode, etc. I've gone through all the support. I've tried using iExplorer. Does anyone know anything else I can try?

My ipod nano 5th gen has grey 'scratches' underneath screen, fixes?

Last night I was in bed and I turned my ipod on and the screen was lighting up with grey lines which were like marks covering the battery bar and the time, the rest of the screen was clear. I tried to reset it but it stayed, I continued to use it normally today but it carried on playing music although I paused it then turned the songs off, when I went to turn the ipod off again the screen had lots of grey scratch-like marks over the album artwork and a big grey circle over where the title, artist and album should be. There aren't on the outside screen and could be from screens within, however not sure. Is there any way that this problem can be fixed?

Can someone confirm that the iPod nano 5th gen will play bought games?

Does the iPod nano 5th generation play games bought on iTunes Store for iPods with click-wheel? The iTunes Store says the games are for 3rd / 4th gen nanos and 5th gen iPods / iPod Classics. As the iPod nano 5th gen has a different aspect ratio / screen size to the older models, will these games work on it?

My Ipod nano 5th Generation has gone to a white screen. I shows absolutely nothing. When I charge it it does not show the battery charge status. When I reset it I never see the apple logo. When it is on though I can still listen to music and it scrolls through the menus. Can you tell me what is wrong and how do I fix it?

Has the Nike+ sync with iPod Nano 5th gen been fixed?

Some months ago I had problems syncronising my pedometer walks from my iPod Nano 5th generation to the Nike+ website via iTunes. I then had read that many people were having the same problems. It would seem like if it had syncronised, but then you would see '0' on your fuel. It had been said that the problem would be fixed by late Autumn/Fall. Has this been fixed?

IPod Nano 5th Gen unmounts before synch

When I attempt to synch my iPod Nano 5th gen to my Mac (OSX 10.8.4) is appears in the devices for a short time, then it disappears. I have not synched in a while, and the iPod has been sitting in a 3rd party dock which is attached to my amplifier.

The questin that the computer asked you was "This iPod has been synced with another computer. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this computer." If you said yes then it deleted everything. The way to put it back on is.
1. Click on the iPod
2. Click Podcast on the top of the screen.
3. Check the box
4. Choose what Podcasts you want to have.
5. Click the sync button

Have a ipod nano 5th gen., keep getting error message 13019!!!

I have an ipod nano, 5th gen. Yesterday when I tried to sync music I received error code 13019. I tried unsyncing music, resyncing,...finally ended up restoring, resetting..nothing worked. All updates are current on itunes and ipod. This has never happened. There is no voice memos options on playlist either. Please help!

My iPod Nano 5th gen is broken, and I need some help fixing it!

I have a iPod Nano 5th gen, and it is currently broken. When I play a song it usually pops up and at the bottom it shows the length of the song. Now when I play music it pops up and at the bottom it shows the volume control. I tried to switch it back by hitting the central circle button, but it immediately switched it back to volume control. Sometimes the menu button will work but now I usually have to hit the menu button a few times for it to work. I have run out of ideas so if anyone has some please share. Thanks!

You need to get it serviced. The click wheel is damaged.

IPod Nano (5th gen, 16GB) syncing some albums, but not others...?

Hello! I am new to the world of iPods, so please bear with me.
I recently purchased an iPod Nano (5th gen, 16GB) and figured out how to sync it with iTunes. Unfortunately, it seems to only sync up with select albums in my library. I know that in order for an album to sync there needs to be check marks next to each song, which I did, but after I sync it I browse my iPod and find that only (roughly) half of the albums I indicated actually show up on my iPod. For example, I was able to sync albums by The Afghan Whigs, Bryan Ferry, and Berlin just fine, but for some reason I was not able to sync certain albums by Autechre, Low, or King Black Acid.
What gives?? I will note that I am using the Windows 7 release candidate - hopefully this has nothing to do with it.
