It would appear the someting in your pocket broke the screen. A broken screen is not covered by warranty. However, sometimes if you make an appontment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store, the Genius will replace the iPod at no cost. If you have the pay. My iPod Touch screen is so sensative that when I have my finger right above the screen, not touching it, it will open the app or click on the letters on the keyboard that I have not touched. How to stop this?

All of a sudden my iPod Touch 4 Gen (got for Christmas in 2012) has started behaving strangely. I'm in no way an iPod technician - but I have the same model as you. If you have cracks in the screen, I'm pretty sure you need to get the screen replaced. You can see what's involved by looking here:

Unless you're already an electronic technician, you'd be better off having it repaired.

Make a new Apple ID for her.
Use it on her iPhone 4S for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
Use your ID on her iPhone 4S for iTunes and App Stores.
Sign in with your Apple ID on iTunes Store (on iTunes app of her new computer)
Authorize her new computer with your Apple ID in iTunes (iTunes menu>Store>Authorize this Computer)
Check "Share my Library on my Local Network" in iTunes Preferences in your and her computer
Sign in Home Sharing of her iTunes with your Apple ID.
Copy all the Music she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Copy all the apps she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Export all playlist as xml files from the old computer to the new one.(right click on the playlist to export and "File>Library>Import Playlist to Import)
Sync her iPhone 4S with all content she wants from her new computer (all data from the old computer will be deleted)
Are you sharing Contacts or other data from iCloud?

If problem still occurs try a restore to factory defaults/new Pod.
If still occurs likely a hardware problem and an appoitment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have a song on my ipod touch I can't get rid of. Even if I uncheck the artist and re-sync the file still is showing. It has a weird circle with a stop icon next to the file.

I also tried to manually manage the music files and removed them all from my ipod. But the file still remains. It only is appearing on my ipod touch, it does not show in itunes. And when I add the file that shows in itunes, it shows up twice. One is normal and the other has that stop button icon next to it. Please help.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.
