My itouch tellls me i need to connect it to itunes and it needs to be restored so i do that but it stops like when it says its preparimg the itouch?
my itouch powers on and says " ipod is disabled connect to itunes. and so i connect it and it says it needs to be restored and updated so i click on that. then it extracts the software and then it says its veryifying the ipod and then preparing it to restore. then after a while it says an unknown error occured .-. idk what im doing wrong please help?
What is the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number is also provided.

I need help. yes i am sure. This are the exact words... "The iPad "iPad" could not be restored. The disk you are attempting to use is full. (Removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space". i tried some options, hard reset, redsnow, tinyumbrella but still it's stuck.

i just upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios 6 not sure if it updated but now when i turn on my phone it says automatically that i need to connect it to itunes using the USB port but when i connect it it comes up as new hardware and cannot find a program/software for my device even though i have the latest itunes on my computer. i have tried reinstalling itunes but it still cannot find my phone and now i cannot use my phone as it is stuck on the sync to itunes screen

AT this point whatever data you have on yoru phone is already gone since it is in recovery mode.
However you can restore from your backup, when your phone reboots from recovery.

I suggest you make this your own iPhone by erasing everything on it. You will lose everything and have to start over.

When I connect my Iphone 5 to Itunes, Itunes either freezes up or I get a message saying Itunes cannot connect to this phone and I need to restore Iphone.
After uninstalling and reinstalling Itunes- issue was fixed. Thanks!

You control the camera for Skype from within Skype, so Skype must be running to running to make video work.

my iPad is frozen.. it won't shut off.. i can't do a forced restart by holding the sleep/wake and home button.... it doesn't respond to that either.. i can't connect it to iTunes because it needs passcode entered but again the iPad is frozen so i can't input the passcode… I also can't do recovery mode as the ipad won't shut down for me to do a recovery mode.... HELP

There are adapters available that convert micro cards into fullsize ones.
You will also need a USB card reader if you do not have one.

Okay, while I was updating my ipod an unknown error occured. Now It's telling me I need to connect it to itunes, even though it's plugged in already. And when It does connect it shows up as a generic "ipod". It doesn't even show my ipod anymore. And it wants me to restore it. It said something around the lines of "restore ipod so it can connect to itunes." Isn't that going to delete all my pictures and stuff? I don't think it saved the reboot from when it was updating!I just want all my settings and stuff back! I don't want to lose all my stuff especially my 2,000 pictures on there! Ugh! Help!
Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.
