My ITunes isn't recognizing any of my devices.

Okay, so I have an Iphone 4s, completely updated (version 7.0.4) and and Ipod touch, 4th gen. updated as much as it can be (
I have had both of the devices plugged into my computer, and itunes has not been recognizing either. My computer recognizes the devices, but itunes does not, so clearly it is not the cord. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ITunes 3 different times, I have restarted my computer multiple times, I have reset my phones settings once, and I have made sure that the Apple Mobile Device services are installed and working properly and the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is also installed. I have ran dignostics on my itunes, and it said nothing is wrong with anything. It is completely up to date as well. NOTHING is working, and I"m not covered for complimentary Apple Support for some weird reason (which I think is SO stupid because I mean I bought your products I should be able to get assistance. Right? Wrong. I'm really hating Apple right now.) Someone please help me out, this is getting so old.

I have the same problem. Running Win 8 64Bit, updated to latest ITunes and now will not recognize phone or pad. Followed all advice from Apple (uninstall/restart/re-install, all in exact order) ... nothing. Spoke with Apple tech and walked through the whole process, but no resolution. Tech was trying to be helpful but has no way of addressing issue.

  • ITunes 12 not recognizing any attached devices

I have installed uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 12 about 3 times.  It will not recognize any of my devices, iphone, ipod, ipad, etc.  My PC is running Windows 8 and it is seeing the usb connections each time I attach a device.  iTunes does not see them.  I ran the diagnostic and it stated that no devices are connected.   I tried reverting to a previous version, but the update changed my library which the older version will not recognize.  Has anyone found a solution?
