My Multi Room DVR has stopped working on ONE BOX ONLY

I have spent roughly 1 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support and would rather not continue that.  I have an 3 HD STB's in my house and 1 HD DVR.  For as long as I have had the service all the boxes could access the multi room dvr.  On Sunday I could not get the RedZone channel to work on the TV in my living room.  After numerous resets and reprogramming the redzone finally came back.  However, the STB could not access the MRDVR.  So I called FiOS again and they determined the box needed to be replaced.  I received the new box today, hooked it up, and everything is working EXCEPT the multi room DVR feature!
Is there any way to fix this without going through numerous resets on the phone with FiOS tech support?

    I just recieved an update on my 2 DVR's and now the multi room function no longer works.  I no longer see the other DVR's recodings.  When I try the verizon auto dvr fix it locks up and freeses and says to try again later sometime.  Anyone else get an update and loose multi room function?

  • Multi room DVR is not working in the other rooms

    I have a multi room DVR box in the living room and 3 standard boxes in the other rooms. I used to could be able to watch my recorded shows in all rooms but now I am not able to. I am only able to watch it in the living room. This was the main reason why I got the multi room DVR plan was to have the luxury watching in other rooms. Can someone please assist?

  • "Update Library Files"  Has stopped working for one library item.

    I have one library file that isn't updating.  It was working yesterday and I made a change to one of the links and it has stopped updating that file completely.  I'm not very experienced in Dreamweaver.
    I've tried deleting the file out of the library and even putting the template one back in there with the and only changing a spelling and it will not update.  Everything else works fine, I've attached a video first showing that my menu_side works fine and upadates but my menu_top does not.

    try the blind export to .idml script at Adobe Community: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK.

    Any error Messages? What happens when you try to message with them? Is their device turned on? Have you had contact with them other than through an iOS device?

  • Transitions stopped working on one clip only.

    I'm editing a video consisting of 2 HDV clips, captured from a Canon XH A1.
    When I slice and dice clip one, I have no problem with dissolve transitions such as crossfade, or dip to white.
    With clip 2,  any transitions only show an abrupt change to black for the duration of the transition.
    Both clips are on the same timeline.
    Rubberbanding opacity between two video tracks works fine.
    I've checked the properties of the clips and they're identical.
    Wondering if I'm missing something, or maybe I've a corrupted clip file.
    Any ideas?

    When I switch from mpe hardware mode to software mode, everything works (albeit more rendering required)
    Still only a problem on one clip though.
    Maybe an MPE issue?

  • New HD Multi Room DVR Issues (AV Syncing & DVR Error Message)

    I recently upgraded our Multi Room DVR to the new HD compatible box.  To date, we have had no problems with our Samsung which is hooked up to the primary DVR in our Family Room, the issue is with our 20" LG in the bedroom, which is hooked up to the new box.
    The issues are:
    1.  Audio/Video Syncing -  After watching a live program for a while the AV syncing becomes an issue.  I find this mainly on HD channels, but it will also happen on the non HD channels as well.
    2.  'No DVR Signal' - When watching a recorded HD program on the new box, we have gotten the a communication error message toward the end of the show.  The only choice that the message gives us is to select OK, which stops the recording and takes us back to the main playback menu.  When we try and fast forward to the part of the show where we got the message, the picture freezes and we can not watch any longer.
    I have talked with Verizon and, initially, I thought that it was an issue with the activation since it happened the first night that we got the box, however, it has now happened twice in the same week.
    I will say that we did not have this issue with the standard STB Multi Room DVR, it worked fine.

    1) I have not seen or heard about this issue yet.
    2) This is a knows issue and they have a fix that will be rolled out on image 1.7 on the STB. And that should be out in the next few weeks. 
     Hey Thanks Tim for the update. The "Unable to Locate Hub" nag is really getting me. If Verizon fixes that issue I would be able to live with the other issues. I love the service except for the nag. It's a real killer to try and watch a show and the nag comes up.

  • Multi-room DVR and router location

    My multi-room DVR was working fine and so was the Internet, but the only problem was that the wireless Internet signal was too weak for my computer's location.  I was told by 2 different Verizon tech support people that I could move the router upstairs and the multi-room DVR would still work, even though the actual multi-room DVR is still downstairs. 
    So far, the multi-room DVR is not working, but the Internet is and the wireless signal is much stronger for my computer. 
    Does anybody know if there is a way to move the router and not have it directly connected to the multi-room DVR?

    I had a similar problem recently with my MR-DVR.  I made some changes to my Routers Configuration which required a power cycle.  Afterwards my STB and DVR still worked fine, but the STB could not find the MR-DVR.  I had to reboot the MRDVR and STB to get everything back in sync.

  • Multi Room DVR Problem

    Recently had FIOS TV installed and all was working fine until last night.  We have the multi-room DVR and have 3 other HD boxes that were able to access the DVR.
    Last night, one of the three HD boxes gave me an error when I tried to access the DVR and said it could not access the DVR.
    I unplugged both the DVR and the HD box.  Now, not only cannot I not access the DVR, the TV guide also does not work (i.e. does not give me any listings, just that info is not available) and also no access on VOD.
    Any ideas?

    Is your internet connection working? The router is what provides guide information to the TVs over the coax cable using MOCA. It sounds like you might have lost your MOCA signal.

  • Why isn't there an option to record future shows using the HD box linked to a Multi room DVR setup?

    I have a multi room DVR in my livingroom and HD boxes in my 2 bedrooms. Currently if you are viewing a program on one of the HD boxes you are able to record the live program you are viewing as the HD box will enable your DVR to record that show.
    Why hasn't FIOS enabled the settop boxes that are part of a multi room DVR setup to be able to record future shows? Needless to say, if I am lying in bed at night and see something in the program guide airing at a future date I really don't want to get out of bed and walk to the living room, turn on the TV and DVR and then program that new recording.
    If I have missed something and you can do this please let me know. Otherwise FIOS should add this to their customer's wish list and enable recording for future times on the HD boxes that are part of your multi room DVR system!

    You can already do that.  Highlight the show in the guide and press the record button.  You should get a pop up with the option to Set Reminder or Record on your DVR.   If it doesn't check your DVR to ensure that availability is extended to the STB you are using.

  • "iTunes has stopped working" - i need help! urgently :(

    Hi, I am having a major problem with my iTunes program. Until about a week ago iTunes was working fine on my Vista Home Premium. One morning this week I got up and tried to turn it on and suddenly a box would pop up after about 10-20 secs after connecting my ipod touch to the computer saying "iTunes has stopped Working" Then another box would pop up saying that when a solution becomes available, it will notify me or something to that effect. Since then I have tried everything I possible could think of like reinstalling itunes and changing my msconfig settings. I have been on countless forums as well looking for someone who has my exact same problem and the solutions presented their are not working for my situation. If anyone could help me get iTunes back working on my system, that would be great. Thanks

    The button on top of my iPod touch that shuts it off and puts it to "sleep" has stopped working and I've only had it for 1 week. I don't know if it's something I can fix but I need advice on what to do and help!!!

    Because you got your iPod so recently you could send it back to apple and have it repaired for free if you have your warranty. Also try holding the power button down see if anything happens.

    Hi, I've just noticed that you too were having problems with elements 11, do you have RoboForm running also on your pc? if yes, try switching it off and see how you go! if it now works close elements, go to RoboForm\options\application integration\ then add Photoshop elements application to the list. Elements and RoboForm clash for some reason. Hope this helps
