My phone changed the screen to the apple logo and kind of 'reboot it self' by it self

So I was on my phone on Safari and all of a sudden , the screen freezes. I tapped it a couple times and nothing happened. Then, in a matter of a couple seconds, my iPhone 4 changes the screen to the apple logo(the black background and the apple logo in the middle, kinda like it was rebooting itself by itself. This isnt the only time this has happened , about three times total... I have iOS7  so I dont know i thats the problem or what..:/ please help thank you. ALso, i have ios 7.0.4 do I have to update it in order for it to stop?

It can take a few minutes to reinitialize, but if it stays on the Apple logo for as much as 10 minutes there is something seriously wrong. Try restoring again, and set up as a new phone rather than installing your backup. If this fixes it you have a corrupt backup. If this doesn't fix it the phone is broken. Or possibly jailbroken.

We can't help you if you don't even know what you are installing.  Never install anything if you do not know what it is.  Installings through Software Update always have explanations which you should be reading to see if you actually need and/or want them.
That being said, it appears you attempted to upgrade to Mavarick.  Although I am not positive.
Sorry, I am going to back out of this because I nor you know what it was you installed.  Hopefully, someone else will chime in here.
    GOOD LUCK!

  • TS1702 cannot restore the phone on the screen just show itunes logo and USB cable

cannot restore the phone while trying to download the ios 6
the screen shows only itunes logo and USB cable

plug your ipod into itunes...it may not do anything plugging it into your own itunes so you may want to try plugging it into someone elses to save the trouble. I had this same problem last week plugged it into my dads ipod and it worked (:

Older model iMac.  Grey screen, no tones, apple logo and spinner, then shuts down.  Tried all greyscreen tips on Apple Website.  Do not have start up disc.  Do not know what OS it runs.  Suggestions?

Since you don't have a startup disc you haven't done ALL of the tips on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570
I don't know what you've done but you need to follow the tips listed and that could include possibly erasing and reinstalling the OS. Older model iMac does nothing to help us understand what you're working with. You can call Apple and provide them with your serial number and for a fee they'll ship you a set of original install discs or you could possibly use Snow Leopard which you can get for $20 here http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
You can enter the serial number here for specs on the iMac http://www.everymac.com
And if you don't know where to find the serial number see here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1349

  • Ipad screen stuck on Apple logo and empty progress bar.

    Hello,
My iPad screen is stuck on the Apple logo and empty progress bar. I have tried rebooting the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds but the screen doesn't change.
The problem arose after I tried to reset the sttings on the iPad after an app wouldn't open.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

  • TS2570 tried restart and hold c key, but still only getting white screen with grey apple logo and spinning loading icon, what do I do next?

nephew had mutliple tabs open and shut down the iMac by hitting the button on the back instead of closing everything corectly.  Now the only screen i get is the white with apple logo and the loading circle icon.  i have attempted restart and c key with disk in but cant even get a menu to come up.  What can I attempt from home before having to haul this into the store?

wireless keyboard and mouse were working prior to safe mode attempt, i was able to eject disk.  still waiting on the safe mode restart.  I'm not sure what I should be looking for to confirm safe mode and what the screen should look like if successfully processing.  it seems to be putting off a lot of heat.  BRB

  • Start Up Issue-Gray Screen, Apple Logo And Cognition Wheel-Blue screen before start up at times but no longer starting up beyond gray screen and cognition wheel

    Power button pressed.
    Start up light okay
    Chimes okay
Gray screen, apple logo and cognition wheel spinning and the loading bar underneath loading 1/10th of the way.
Loading bar doesnt load fully and then disappears.
Gray screen remains with apple logo and cognition wheel only.
No start up to desktop. Before start up to desk top which is not happening any more a blue screen appeared before the desktop appeared. When start up complete the ' Finder' had no responded and did not work' Multi coloured loading pointer continually turned. ' Network' could not be loaded in 'System Prefrences'.
Ive tried reading and following propts...Results NVRAM/PRAM - Logic board battery replacement. How much will this cost?
Hardware test - No problem found
Safe Boot - ' volume Machintosh HD could not be repaired.'
' Run time corruption detected on Machintosh HD device'
What do you suggest aside from taking it to a apple store?
    Thanks Stephen

Lion or Snow Leopard? If Lion, boot into your Recovery partition (hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting) and use Disk Utility to verify and, if needed, repair the boot volume.
If Snow Leopard, use the installation disc and use Disk Utility in the same manner.

  • Startup screen with apple logo and grey loading bar, then unexpectedly shuts down

Hey, I have a MacBook Pro from 2010 I believe with iOS Maverick installed. (MacKeeper is also on there, which I just found out is apparently malware)
So three days ago I was watching Netflix, the image froze, but the audio kept going. Figured my internet was slow, so I waited a little, nothing happened. pressed escape to leave the full screen mode, but nothing happened. None of the keys would do anything, not even the sound or brightness keys. So I did a force shut down by holding down the power button.
I waited a little, then decided to turn it back on. Start up sound played, white screen with grey apple logo and loading gear appeared together with a grey loading bar. I figured that this meant it had to repair something. But after about a minute or two it just went to a black screen/ shut down. I left it off for a day, tried it again, same thing. Next day I tried booting it up while holding the shift key to do the safe boot (I knew it wouldn't work since I already had the grey loading bar anyways), same thing happened.
Any suggestions? (note: I thought I had posted this yesterday, but apparently I didn't even register as a user, weird. So if this gets posted twice, I apologize)

If your disk cannot be repaired, your only options are to call the disk dead and order a new one or to try and erase and reformat the disk and try to install a system on it.
The latter is just something you can try - I doubt that it will work.
Boot into your Recovery partition once again and select Disk Utility. You should see your boot volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") in the left column of disks. Select the Erase tab and format the disk using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". If the disk will format, then you can go back to the main Recovery screen and try installing OS X.
If that doesn't work - and you'll probably know when trying to format the drive - you'll need a new drive.

    Hi Haziq0135,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your MacBook Pro is starting up to a gray screen with a Apple logo and a spinning gear. The article linked below provides a lot of great troubleshooting suggestions that should resolve issues like that.

  • White screen with gray Apple logo.

Could anybody help me? i bought my MacBook, about 3 months ago and never had any problems with it, 3 days ago i want to restart it after i tried to make an actuallitation... so when i did it just appears a white screen with gray apple logo, and no timer going... i look for help here in the apple discussions, and some guy seem to have the same problem... i did just what the other user recomended, i insert the original cd, while press the C key, and went to disk utilities on the bar on top, and clik on Repair Disk. When i did it appears a list of things that says:
Verify and Repair volumen “Macintosh HD”
    Checkin Journaled HFS Plus volume
    Checkin Extents Overflow file
    Checkin Catalog file.
    Checkin multi-linked files.
    Checkin Catalog hierarchy
    Checkin Extended Attributes file
    Checkin volume bitmap
    Checkin volume information
The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK. (Font in green)
Then i didnt know what to do so i restarted and after that it appears the same White screen with gray Apple logo.
If somebody can help me, i will apreciate it, Thanks.

Your system info shows you are using OS 10.1. How is that possible if your Macbook is only 3 months old? You will need to correct the information if incorrect & insert the correct information.
After disconnecting all periperals try Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM. If that does not work try Apple Portables: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Since you are still under warranty, you can contact Apple about the problem if the solutions do not work.
