My USB Has Not Arrived But Is Listed As Delivered

Hello. I'm hoping someone here will reply and assist me, as I have been leaving messages and calling for weeks now regarding an order I paid for but did not receive, and urgently needed when I ordered it on August 13. The order was a usb recovery device for my mini-notebook, which is not functioning at all, even after troubleshooting over the phone. The order summary Toshiba emailed me on August 14 reads as follows:

DHL Tracking Number: SFF415546
When I go to the tracking page, the device is listed as delivered in my city of Woodside, but I have not received it. I have also called DHL numerous times, but I am treated in much the same manner as with your firm, unfortunately; sent round and round to different departments where no one will tell me anything of tangible value. The above tracking page also lists a USPS delivery confirmation:

I did go to the Woodside post office this past Friday and the manager is checking to see who the USPS carrier was and where it might have been delivered (meaning someone else may have taken my order!). The building super and my neighbors do not have it, either. At this point, after so much runaround, I really need a. some human assistance and b. a replacement usb sent out or a refund from Toshiba. This has been an awful experience thus far.

When you contacted Toshiba, did you get any case number or anything?

    When trying to view something that needs flash player, it tells me that I need to have flash player to do this.  So I go to install it, and it tells me it is already installed with my Windows 8.  So, then it tells me to either Enable flash player or to disable Active x filtering.  Active x filtering is not enabled, so I go to Manage add ons, and it shows that Shockwave Flash Object is listed under the heading NOT AVAILABLE, but is listed as being enabled.  I have tried to reinstall flash player, but it won't let me because it is already installed.  Not sure why it is showing up under Not Available, and not under the Adobe heading with my Adobe PDF reader.  Can anyone tell me how to get flash player back from this point???

    I'm not sure what your post means. If you are trying to make an in-app purchase in a game then what happens when you try to do it, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?

  • Usb interface not on aggregate structure list

    when i pull up my aggregate device box the structure list only has only built in components listed what do i do to get my usb interface on there?

    The problem lies with Tascam and their inability to write stable drivers for OS X...  and isn't anything to do with Logic Pro ..
    As you know, you are not the only person to have had this issue and the reality is, while the 1641 might work fine with  Windows, when it comes to OS X Macs.. it's an entirely different story... depending on the version of OS XS you are running.
    The one tip I have read, that seemed to fix it for most people.. (Though not all) is as follows;
    (Thanks to Paulypaulpaul for this)
    -uninstall your tascam driver 2.10
    -restart
    -install driver 1.03
    -restart
    -plug in your tascam
    -goto where you download your drivers (http://tascam.com/product/us-1641/downloads/), scroll down to the bottom where it says firmware, Download the firmware 1.02 (3rd from top under firmware), install it. your control panal should now read 1.03 for your drivers and 1.02 for your firmware.
    -install drivers 2.10
    -restart
    Follow each of the steps exactly.. including all restarts when indicated..

  • Emails with MS word attachments not arriving, but Pages attachments okay

    When I send an email with a Word attachment that was originally created in MS Word (v 11.3.5), the email does not arrive at its destination. I've started bcc'g myself to doublecheck and it seems consistent, no matter where it is going. It shows up as "Sent" in the mailbox, but the recipient never receives it.
    However, when I create the document in Pages, then convert it to a Word document using "Export" in Pages, then attach it to an email, the email goes through without a problem.
    Just now, I created the document in Pages, converted it using "Export", then edited it a bit while it was in Word. When I sent the email as an attachment, it disappeared again and did not arrive at its destination. This is really scary, because I have frequently sent people emails and assume that they are arriving (the email shows up in my "Sent" mailbox, but just disappears into cyberspace somewhere.)
    Is this a glitch with Word or Mail? It started happening about 4 months ago, and I have already tried re-installing Word. That seemed to fix it for awhile but it's just happened again.

  • Three days ago I replaced an earlier Adobe Flash with version 10.1.85.3. This has not appeared in the list in Tools/Addons/Plugins to permit me to enable it in Firefox, and I can't find the answer in the knowledge base.

    Re. installing/enabling a Flash plugin
    1 I'm running Firefox version 3.6.10 on Windows XP SP3.
    2 Three days ago Secunia PSI informed me the installed version of Flash was a security threat so I uninstalled it then installed the latest version 10.1.85.3 . It appears in the Control Panel add and remove programs listings.
    3 As of 2 days ago BBC iplayer keeps telling me I need to install (latest version of?) Flash.
    4 I don't have this problem using my fallback Internet Explorer.
    5 Assuming I needed to enable Flash in Firefox I went to Tools/Addons/Plugins but Flash is not listed there.
    6 Firefox Support/Knowledge base/Installing the Flash plugin doesn't help - in step 2 I don't see the yellow 'Additional plugins are required...' bar when I go to the Adobe test page, but then why should I, it's already installed.
    6 What's going on - please help!

    I have the same problem as luiszamarreno. I tried using the following to update:
    sudo apt-get --purge remove adobe-flashplugin flashplugin-nonfree; sudo apt-get --purge autoremove; sudo apt-get clean; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get --purge autoremove; sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
    Now I have the "flashplugin-nonfree" v. 10.01.218+really9.0.283.0ubuntu1 and it still doesn't work for the Facebook plugin. I get the notice it has crashed and needs to be updated. I also get a notice to update on the plugins page under tools --> addons. When I try that, it goes to the Adobe Web site, which I have seen on Ubuntu support sites that I do not want to upgrade from there.
    Does anybody have an answer to this?

  • How to resend the verification mail that has not arrived when applying?

    I have applied for the new iBook store and it says that I will recieve a verification mail which never arrived.
    I changed my mail adress to a more valid one and want to get the verification mail again...
    Just trying to do the same application process again does not work. :-( The error is:
    The iTunes Store account entered has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore. To continue with this application, you must enter a different iTunes account.
    But I don't want to use another one, I want to USE MINE and get the mail. :)

    I had a similar problem, in that I received an email from Apple about my application. Unfortunately, I was traveling out of the country at the time and somehow the email, and thus the link they sent to me, got deleted. I just either emailed them or submitted a help ticket and asked them to re-send the email, which they did within 24 hours. It wasn't the verification email, but it was something I needed in order to complete my application.

    I Try to reinstall it but it tells me it is already pre-installed with my windows 8 and to turn off active x filtering or to enable it in manage add ons.  Active x filtering is not on, and it is currently enabled, it is just listed under the Not Available heading and I am guessing that is why it is not working when I go to view something that needs flash player.  Is there a way to uninstall it and reinstall it going around the windows preinstalled??  Or a way to get it out of the Not Available and into the Adobe heading in my add-ons??

    What you can do is either Reset IE (Gear > Advanced > Reset), or if that doesn't work, you'll need to go into Add/Remove programs, find the last Windows Update for Internet Explorer or Flash, uninstall it, then re-install it from Windows Update.  This will usually get you back to a good state with IE.

    I'm having trouble signing into my wifi.  Nothing has changed, but suddenly I can't sign onto anything.  Very frustrating.  I've tried to reset the network settings.  That did not help. 

    Reboot your router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. See if that helps.

  • Hi, so the world has not ended but most of my contacts still don't synch to iCloud! Why?!

    I want to activate my new iPhone 5, but am trying to backup iPhone contacts beforehand. Activated iCloud but only a few (of my many) contacts synch to it. Any ideas why? I have now saved contacts using 'My Contacts Backup App' (after reading that tip here!) into my Gmail contacts. Hope I can import them to new phone with this App or via Gmail... Has anyone else already done that? Also, I would still like to synch all contacts via iCloud on the new iPhone in future. Any tips? (P.S. Don't have a Mac) Would appreciate any tips. Thanks.

    All that happens is it just flicks through it all and won't play any of it???
    As in I select the song and it just flicks back one screen (if I am making sense).....

    had to orders that shipped out the same time.  Was scheduled for delivery on the 8th of feb and it is the 18 and i have not recieved my order as of yet.  it was last processed in richmond on the 8th.  nothing.  i asked for expedited shipping but it said could not so went standard and now this.  Can someone check on what is going on.  thanks

    I was able to look up your order using your email address you have provided here on the forums and it appears you received your two orders on Wednesday, 02/19/2014. Sorry that there was such a delay in receiving your items!
    Using the same information as you had on your order, I was able to validate that you were only allowed to choose Standard shipping. We can only ship Expedited/Express via UPS and UPS doesn’t ship to PO Boxes. If you would like it shipped via Expedited or Express you should be able to update your mailing address to your physical address instead of a PO Box and you should then be able to select one of those options.
