N8 Belle connection failed- access denied. NO INTE...
After the Belle update I have a problem with my internet connections. Both WiFi and mobile internet are not working at all. At first it was ok but after a while or a reboot of the device I simply cannot connect to any wifi wether it's a known one or an open one. I always get an box message on the top of the screen that says
"Connection failed
Access denied"
There's nothing I can do about it! I tried reinstalling Belle and it was ok at first but shortly the problem occurred. So I have a phone with NO INTERNET CONNECTION at all!!! It's almost useless.
I would like a nokia support response please. This is a huge problem!

Hi Torben
Thank you for contacting Nokia Care customer support.
Since we wrote last I have got a lot more experience with the Belles situation in this area.
Recently suspicion fell on a bug in old saved data from the "Anna" that causes general network error.
To solve it, there must be a backup - but NOT the programs / settings, since they bear the error.
Subsequently, disconnect the phone from, select the Offline profile (Press and hold the cards on the off button and choose the one on this list)
"Ring" now * # 7370 # accept and enter the security code is 12345, if it asks for it.
Your security code if you have change it.
Set Time & Date and reviewing start-up menus.
Get immediately sent to the settings for data and multimedia.
Restart your phone and try now about the Internet is working properly.
Do they do it; you can safely restore contacts and whatever else you have in your backup.
I would personally appreciate it if you want to participate in a brief survey that will be about my response to you. Customer survey will receive a separate e-mail.
If there is anything I can do for you, then you're obviously more than welcome to contact me again.
Sincerely
Jannik Petersen

Thanks, these steps resolved my Connectivity issues

C7 | Connection Failed - Access Denied - Invalid S...
Hi,
Whenever I am trying to connect to WLAN, it got connected but the moment I start browsing, it displays message 'Connection Failed - Access Denied'. Sometimes, it shows 'Invalid Server'. I am really not sure why it is happening as 3G is working fine in my phone.
If someone can help me to understand the problem and resolution to it.
Thanks-
AmitHey Amitbbb, Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
The apps SPB Wireless Monitor Lite and SPB Wireless Monitor may be preventing your phone from accessing the internet, if they have been downloaded to your phone before the Nokia Belle update. If possible, please uninstall these apps before updating to Nokia Belle.
If you are experiencing data connection problems after the Nokia Belle update, then please check if you had downloaded either of these apps earlier on your phone by browsing via your PC to Nokia Store: www.nokia.com/store > My stuff. If you can see either of these apps, then first try fix the problem by redownloading these apps on your phone:
Connect your phone with a USB cable to PC and ensure that you have Nokia Suite running.
In Nokia Store, select the name of these apps under My stuff and then select Download >Download on PC.
After the apps have been redownloaded, please reboot your phone and verify that you are able to browse the internet on your phone for example by opening www.nokia.com in your phone’s browser.
If you still get the same error message or if you not able to re-install these apps from Nokia Store for some reason, only then follow the remaining steps to manually disable these apps:
Close Nokia Suite via File > Exit.
Connect your phone to computer with a USB cable in mass storage mode. You can set this in the Notification bar via USB > Mass storage on your device.
Open Windows Explorer on your computer and open your phone’s mass memory drive (typically named Nokia Ovi Suite).
Go to folder private\101f7989\esock\ and delete following file if it exists: ip.wrlmonsnf_20042D1F.esk.
Close Windows Explorer, and unplug the USB cable after using the safely remove hardware and reject media function on PC.
Reboot your phone.
Verify that you are able to browse Internet on your phone.
If you want to reinstall SPB Wireless monitor, go to Nokia store to redownload it.
I hope this helps and that you manage to resolve your issue!

Mifi 2200 - Error 691: Connection Failed - Access was denied ...
I have set up a Mifi 2200. It CAN work great. Intermittently though, I can't get connected wheen using the device as a USB modem. It will ALWAYS connect fine when I connect through Wifi.
The error I get: Mifi 2200 - Error 691: Connection Failed - Access was denied because the username and/or password was invalid in the domain.
I have done all the usual things:
1. Reinstalled the VZAccess Manager software including latest update. I am at 7.3.13.1 (2635a)
2. Obtained all latest Windows updates (XP SP2).
3. Removed, replaced, manually, auto-configured a Dial Up Connection many times.
4. Replaced the USB to microUSB cable.
I found the VZAccess Managers diagnostic tool where you press CTRL-D and enter the password diagvzw and see some additional settings.
There I had a minor break through. There is a setting where I can force the modem to only use 1X. If I do that, I connect every time without fail. No problems, no errors. The moment I put that setting back to Auto or forced EVDO, I fail again, or only work every 20th try or so after a reboot of the device etc.
Is anyone else seeing this, or getting this error? It can't be an account issue since it works sometimes on EVDO and ALWAYS fine on 1X.
Thanks for any help or ideas.
PNI think I have an update that might be a clue that it IS an Verizon issue either with the device itself or at the towers.
I have determined that when I connect to it through WiFi where I mentioned it seems to ALWAYS work. Well, it always works in 1X mode there. It fails in EVDO mode.
Something up at the towers? Although multiple towers have been tried.
Anyone any ideas? -

Got this message when running an automated RMAN job.
To my knowledge the only thing that has changed since being able to run RMAN jobs with OSB and not being able to run them is that the permissions on /usr/tmp were changed from drwxr-xr-x, not drwxrwxrwx.

Hi all,
We just recently installed SP1 for AQ6.0 and it has helped out alot. Fixed alot of our small issues, but seems to have brougt up a new one. Our Audit Log Management job is now failing every run. It is getting an Access denied error. Actually the error line is JobShell: Exception occurred when processing operation operation 0:103: \\ntapmd01\Plumtree5\PtAudit\audit 9-8-06 2.log (Access is denied). Running verbose dosen't help. I see that the job is running as owner Administrator and I am trying to copy the audit log to a shared network location, but this worked before. Nothing changed except for installing the SP. Any ideas?
BerneyFirst off, it seems like installing the patch reset the user account that ran the plumtree automation service. All I had to do was change the user who runs the automation service and that fixed it.
As far as service patch 1 goes we had alot of issues when we went to 6.0 with remote users opening documents. SSO redirect kept sending them back to the home page. We had issues with the Intrinsic Community Links portlet, protected excel files, along with some others I can't think of right now. Everything looked fine from the admin point of view, but users were going crazy. All of that went away with the service patch.
Thanks,
Berney -
Extraction failed access denied
Hi,
i have SQL Server express 2008 R2 running. Now i wanted to install advanced services like SSRS. So downloaded SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe file.
When i try to install the same I get error "Access Denied" during extraction of Autorun.inf file. I updated local security rights as advised in KB2000257. But still issue remains the same.
Please helpHi Ram,
Based on your description, the error might be caused by different factors. For example, your account has no permissions to extract the setup file, or firewall blocks the Autorun.inf file. There are some proposals for you troubleshooting this issue as follows.
1. As Shanky’s post, please make sure that your account has admin permissions, and choose ‘Run as administratror’ to complete the extraction.
2. If your account has admin permissions, turn off firewall and disable any third-party software such as antivirus software, then try to extract the setup file again and check if the error still occurs.
3. You can also extract the SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe file from command prompt. Navigate to the folder containing the SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe file, and type SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe /X, then you will get a window to specify the location where it needs to extract
the file, specify a different location and check if it is successful.
Thanks,

I have just been looking through a failure report on zenworks inventory,
it seems that I have approx 30% of all my workstations have failed to
install a small script, this has worked fine on all the rest of them.
All the workstations are xp pro and as far as I know the same service
pack.
When I look on failure advanced report it is telling me...... The
network path or Access is denied (most of them say access is denied)
Whats the problem?
Thanks

Yes.
The SAP system runs under user SAPService<SID>. That user must be created on the target server.

Oracle GoldenGate Veridata Exception (access denied)
Hello all,
I have recently installed weblogic 12.1.3 and Goldengate Veridata server on a Linux box successfully, and then successfully created a domain server to administer Veridata. After opening Veridata Web console with the newly created User from Weblogic Server that has all the privileges of veridata administration, in the new connection wizard, veridata shows following exception.
OGGV-00184: Error message: com.goldengate.wallet.WalletException: OGGV-80002: Put credential for CONN..IRIS2 failed: access denied ("oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialAccessPermission" "context=SYSTEM,mapName=VERIDATA,keyName=CONN.IRIS2" "write").You have the wrong java version which i suppose is java8 which is not supported for 12c yet so downgrade to java 7. Not sure what flavour your OS is I used this How to Install Java 7 (Jdk 7u75) on CentOS/RHEL 7/6/5 and downgraded java restarted my weblogic and everything worked as expected.

Welcome to the forum!
Whilst realising that you are referring to South Australia can't remember whether Symbian Anna has been made available to you yet. Unfortunately if using this firmware you can no longer re-define an access point for positioning server = supl.mokia.com in Menu > Settings > Application settings > Positioning > Positioning server as you could in PR1.2
Have you tried Settings > Application Settings > Positioning > Positioning server > Server settings then tap on supl.nokia.com then change "Only in home network" to NO

Hi All,
I have followed dozens of tutorials to set up roles for Hyper-V, but I keep coming up short. I have no problem managing the five domain-joined 2012 R2 Core Hyper-V servers we have remotely from my Windows 8.1 PC, but I have a lab box I would like to grant
specific permissions to some Help Desk users on.
The key tutorial I have followed is from John Howard (http://blogs.technet.com/b/jhoward/archive/2008/04/01/part-4-domain-joined-environment-hyper-v-remote-management-you-do-not-have-the-requested-permission-to-complete-this-task-contact-the-administrator-of-the-authorization-policy-for-the-computer-computername.aspx),
but it still does not allow a non-admin account to use Hyper-V Manager remotely. Without his tutorial, I get access denied with my "TestUser" account. After following his steps, Hyper-V Manager appears to connect to the server, but says "The
Virtual Machine Management service is not available." Even using his HVRemote with the /show flag, everything shows as PASSED.
Digging deeper, I see dozens of failed audit Event Viewer logs saying "TestUser" is requesting READ to Service Control Manager. That sent me searching, and I found
http://arnoutboer.nl/weblog/?p=300 and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa374928(v=vs.85).aspx.
After granting "AU" (Authenticated Users) every permission resembling "read", Hyper-V Manager now shows "There are no virtual machines to show" (or something along those lines); even though I know there are about 30 VMs on this
host. I try to create a new VM (out of curiosity, and now that those options actually appear), and I get permission denied immediately after the create VM wizard pops up.
Why is this such a convoluted process? I would appreciate any help creating Roles for Hyper-V 2012.
Thank you in advance!Hi Eric (cool name BTW!)
Putting them in Hyper-V Administrators is definitely not an option.
I absolutely believe Microsoft would do something to push you into buying their software; just as we had to purchase Windows 8.1 Pro to remotely manage our 2012 R2 servers. However, as far as I am seeing, AzMan is still in 2012 R2. Whether it works or not
is another story, but AzMan.msc is still there and I can run it on any of our 2012 R2 GUI installs.
Actually just found this:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn303411.aspx. According to that, it has not yet been removed, but it has been deprecated. From what I am seeing, the Hyper-V portion of it is definitely broken.
I will look into the remote endpoints solution you mentioned. Thank you for the suggestion. I just recently took the plunge into learning C++, so maybe a Hyper-V manager of sorts will be an app to
attempt to write, haha.

Hi there,
I am having a serious issue with The Power BI Data Management Gateway which I am hoping that someone can help me with.
Basically I am setting a connection between a Power BI demo site and a SQL 2012 Database based on Azure. The Data Management Gateway and is up and running, and Power BI has managed to connect to it successfuly.
By following the tutorials at
here I was able to successful create my Data Connection Gateway with a self-signed certificate.
However, when trying to create the data source I come into problems. The Data Source Manager manages to successfully resolve the hostname, as per the screenshot below:
Bear in mind that I exposed the require ports in Azure as endpoints and I managed to modify my hosts file on my local machine so I could access the SQL server hosted in Azure using its internal name -- otherwise I would not be able to get this far.
However the creation of the data source also fails when trying to created it whilst logged in the SQL server in question:
The Data Source Manager returns the error when using the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server:
Failed to test connection. [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied
I tried using the SQL Server Native Client 11.0 instead but I also get an error. This time the error is:
Failed to test connection. Login timeout expiredA network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible. Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. For more information see SQL Server Books Online.Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [53].
Some considerations
If I provide an invalid username/password, the Data Source Manager does say that the username and password is incorrect.
Firewall is turned off in the SQL Server (either way, this error also happens if I try top use the Data Source Manager whilst logged in the SQL Server itself).
SQL Profiler does not show any attempt of connection.
The SQL server instance in question is the default one.
The error happens regardless if I select the option to encrypt connection or not.
In SQL Configuration manager I can see that all protocols are enabled (TCP/IP, Named Pipes and Shared Memory.
The Event Viewer does not provide any further errors than the one I have copied in this post.
I'm at a loss here. Could someone please advise what might I be doing wrong?
Regards,
P.Here is what I had to do to solve this issue:
Basically I had to add the MSSQL TCP/IP port as an end-point in Azure. After I did that, then I was able to create the data-source. However, I was only able to authenticate with a SQL account, as any domain account would return me an error saying that the
domain isn't trusted.
What puzzles me here is how come the Data Source Manager would inform me that an account username/password was invalid, but it would fail/timeout if I provided valid credentials (!?!?!!?) -
Sharepoint 2013 adding ECT fails with "Access Denied by Business Connectivity Service"
Using SharePoint Designer 2013 I am attempting to setup an External Content Type to a SQL DB. I have setup the SQL database with a valid login that was also used to setup an account with the Secure Store Service. I am running SharePoint 2013 designer and
have opened my site with administrative credentials. No matter what, I continue to get the "access denied" message when I try to add this SQL database to my ECT section in SPD. All users have access to invoke the BCS app.
I have deleted and recreated the BCS service application and it is running with farm credentials and temporarily I added the farm account to the local admin account....and again verified that all users have rights to run BCS...
In all other aspects my SharePoint sites are working, I can modify and add via SPD and publish...etc...but I cannot add a connection to an external SQL server. I have also verified through Excel that I can connect to my SQL DB with the same credentials that
I am trying in SharePoint and everything works.
Most of the posts I see in this area relate to permissions or access problems AFTER the ECT connection is created. My problem is I can't even get a connection created. Here are the error logs that are generated when I try to connect....maybe this will help someone tell me where to correct the issue.....(I removed the actual domain names) but my account was listed which is an admin on the sharepoint system and domain.
