Is there any FM that will give the name of the month baseed on the period/month no..
i.e if i give input 4 the output should be as APRIL...etc

Names are usually dependend on the logon language .
if you want see english names together with Nepalese name in e.g. English logon, then you have to change the english namesm hwoever I dont know where and if the the field is long enough to take both..

Lost my Contact Names and Months of New Entries w/ iOS 4 Update--Any Help?

I updated to iOS4 yesterday and after it was done all my contact names were gone. The numbers were all in there, just no names. I don't use Mobile Me for my contacts.
Checking my iPhone sync settings on my Mac for some reason "sync contacts" with Address Book was no longer checked in iTunes. It looks like it was that way for some time, which is unusual as that's the method I use to backup my contacts. No idea how that got switched, as I wouldn't have changed that. Don't think MobileMe troubleshooting had me turn it off after a Calendar duplication issue. Wouldn't make sense.
Also, I don't know why the update to a new OS would make me LOSE ALL my contact names. Why would the update be designed that way and not retain everything?
Now my computer has an old contact list and I've lost months of new contacts, phone numbers, emails and contact organization. Pretty bummed. Not sure why that box wasn't checked and the phone backup system is absolutely no help at all as, by design, iTunes only saves ONE backup of your phone at a time, and after the operating system updates to iOS4, it immediately and automatically backs up the phone with the new settings, writing over the real backup with the data you might want to return to.
Restored it from backup today to see if it'd repopulate the names, but no, it went to the backup it took AFTER the iOS4 update. It even erased the new spelling of someone's name that I put into the phone last night!
Why is this upgrade process designed without more safeties in mind, Apple? Not sure how that happened but clearly grandmothers and others might have a snafu and need to go back to an earlier backup. Can't iTunes backup the last 3 or 5 versions, or just note the differences so getting back lost data is easier? Happened a few years back, an iPhone I was using that went bad, but iTunes backed up the corrupted information in its single backup so that the last few weeks of entries, etc., got lost. Any way to get wireless syncing of the phone in the future like with Time Capsule or something, indexing at least a few multiple backups by date or something?
Clearly all the names were on the phone in their entirety immediately before the update, but then poof! Anything I can do about it now? Any ideas, folks?

Try a hard reset right now and see if they disappear.
Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for 10 seconds until you see white Apple logo on the screen. Wait for the phone to restart and see if the contacts are fixed.

Field with Name of Month

Using Adobe Acrobat
I need a field to display the month written out in full form.
I have selected the date format mmmm and it does not work.
When I try and enter the month name I get an error
Invalid date/time: please ensure that the date/time exits. Field [Month 1] should match format mmmm.
Any ideas?

All of the date time features of Acrobat/Reader are based on the JavaScript date time object and there is no month name feature for JavaScript's date time specification. Acrobat/Reader has an interface that converts the month literal to the zero based number before using the JavaScript date time object features. For missing parameters, JavaScript assumes a zero value for the missing parameter and then tries to guess what one wants and this can result in some very strange results. If the year is omitted the year for the date time object could be from 1900 to the current year.

Ip or host name of monthly activation servers for Office 365

i need to know a method to activate office 365 for 4 of my company computers that are banned from internet connection .
One of the option that i may accept is tho manual specify the ip addresses or the servers name where Office is going to activate .

Could you tell me what version of Office 365 are you using? If you have product key to activate it. Or you can activate Office 365 on phone, choose the telephone option in the Activation Wizard to get the phone number to contact in
your country.

Variable - Name of month instead of Number

Posting Period & Fiscal Year is used to calculate YTD in a report, so query has prompts Fiscal Year 2007 & Posting Period - 1,2.......12.
Here variable for posting period used is SAP defined single input mandatory variable....is there anyway to change some settings or etc so the variable will prompt January instead of 1 n so on.....
FYI : I <b>cant</b>* change the description as it is SAP defined...so can I still use text variables....

Global Settings can be transfered from Logical source system in RSA1 (right click on ECC source system, you will see transfer global settings).
look at the note thread for details...Transfer global settings..
Suppose assume your next fiscal year works from Dec 2007 to Nov 2008 (or cureent fiscal year from Dec 2006 to Nov 2008). Once you enter into Dec 2007, ECC FI team will create new fiscal year starting Dec 2007. you need this fiscal year for BI as well. you can get into BI enther Periodically transferring Global settings(updating T009 and T009B tables) or creating same Manually in BI tables(T009 and T009B). This manual option mainly mend for 3rd party DB, flat file etc.
Most of the cases we will schedule a batch job for Transfering Global Settings.

Month name displayed in month calendar view for previous month

In iPad IOS 7.04 iCal month view the month name displayed at the top of the window is incorrect. The previous month name show when viewing a calendar month. Test by selecting year view and the any month from the year. The month view will be for the selected month, but the month name will be for the preceding month. The incorrect month name in month vie is also displayed if the month view is scrolled to new months.
I observe this on my iPad II.
Ha s anyone seen this error? Does anyone know if Apple has seen this and has a plan to correct it?

Imhave the same exact problem on my iPad2. It was not fixed in the recent iOS 7.1 release, even though modifications were made to the calendar app. Very frustrating, since this is such an easily observable problem.

Get first and last day given month name with combobox

If you are running your application on a Turkish Windows you could use the System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture:
int month = DateTime.ParseExact(monthName, "MMMM", System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture).Month;
Or you could use create an explicit culture object like this:

How do I move my iTunes account to another user name on the SAME computer?

My kid was the first in my family to get an iPod. When we created her account, since she is young, I put it on my laptop under my user name. Months later, I decided to get an iPod and when I went to set up an account, it wouldn't let me. My neice told me that I had to set up a new user name account on my computer for the new itunes account. I did this, but now I find that this is TOTALLY inconvenient. My computing is done under one user name and, yet, to sync my iPod I have to log out of all of that and go into the other user name. I HATE this -- had I realised this would be such a pain in the neck, I never would have set up my daughter's account under my user name. Is there a way that I can move my itunes account to MY user name and move my daughter's to the other? Can I have them both under one user name? Thanks for any help/advice

Each windows user has an itunes database file that has ratings, playcounts, etc.
It is named iTunesLibrary.itl
So in addition to putting the music in a shared location as Neil suggests, you need to swap your ITL files from each account.
Here is a good background article on that, you are using method 1. My advice is to stay far away from method 3, it's too easy to forget which ITL file itunes last used.
You could also switch to method 2. I used that for several years until my husband started using iTunes and I did not want his play counts in my library.

Formula to calculate the last day of the subsequent month

Hi - I am trying to create a formula in CR9 that will take a date field and translate it to the last day of the subsequent month. For example, I have a date of today, 2/3/2009. I need it to print on the report 3/31/2009. I have made some progress to get me the 1st day of the subsequent month, but I need it to be the last day of the subsequent month.
The formula I am have currently is:
DateSerial(Year({Name.JOIN_DATE}), Month({Name.JOIN_DATE}) + 1, 0)+1
this will give me 3/1/2009, but I need 3/31/2009.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Joe,
You can use the following logic which also takes into account the extra day in a leap year. You will need 5 formulas for this:
First create a formula that calculates current month, call it @Current Month MM
Month(Name.JOIN_DATE)+1
Next create another formula called @Current Month Start Date which will give you the beginning of the month.
totext(Date (year(currentdate),tonumber({@Current Month MM}) ,1 ))
Next create another formula called @Current Year yyyy
Year(Name.JOIN_DATE)
Next, create a formula called @DaysofMonth with the following logic:
if tonumber({@Current Year yyyy}) mod 4 = 0 then
choose(month(date({@Current Month Start Date})),31,29,31,30,31,30,31,31,30,31,30,31) else
choose(month(date({@Current Month Start Date})),31,28,31,30,31,30,31,31,30,31,30,31)
Lastly create a formula called @Ending Date of Month
totext(Date (year(currentdate),tonumber({@Current Month MM}) ,{@DaysOfMonth} ))

Using Spry.Data.XMLDataSet. Can xml file name be set to change on calendar date?

I have a website that uses Spry Data XML DataSet to list common pests for the current month. http://www.shspestcontrol.com/
Each month's list of pests is in a separate xml file (e.g. pests-august.xml)
Rather than manually updating the file name each month, can it be setup to automatically change the name
For instance on January 1st, file name changes to pests-january.xml, Feb 1st changes to pests-february.xml. etc.

Dynamically change the column name....

Hi,
I am facing a problem in displaying name of the columns dynamically as a parameter selected from the dashboard prompt.
I have some facts which contains data according to the selected month (From Prompt).
As of now the column names are:
Curr, Next1, Next2, Next3 which displays the data for the months accordingly to the selected month from prompt.
Data is coming correctly but on the report the column name are displayed as Curr, Next1, Next2 and Next3 which I want to be displayed as the month name for which it contains data.
How can I do that? I have tried presentation variables to be used in custom heading but that is only as string.

My scenario is little different, let me explain:
My columns will remain same but values changes (based on column formula) according to the selected prompt value
If I select 'Oct' from prompt then
Curr will contain data for 'Oct' only
Next1 will contain data for 'Nov' only
Next2 will contain data for 'Dec' only
Next3 will contain data for 'Jan' of next year only.
Later if I select 'Jul' from prompt then
Curr will contain data for 'Jul' only
Next1 will contain data for 'Aug' only
Next2 will contain data for 'Sep' only
Next3 will contain data for 'Oct' only.
I don't have different columns for each months but the columns are capable to reflect data for any month.
So, how can I reflect the column name as month name for which that contains data.
