Need help with testing a package with Junit
Hi guys,
I am currently testing a bunch of files under a particular package. I have compiled all the files in this package successfully. I have written a testcase file which is in the folder above the package folder. I am using Junit to test this. I am getting errors stating that Java cannot find the package.
To explain in detail.....My package name is coinbox which contain some classes which need to be tested. These files are in the folder "coinbox". My testcase file is in the folder which is directly above this folder. My testcase file has the statement import coinbox.* which will import all the classes in the coinbox package;
But I am getting an error stating that the package coinbox cannot be found. I tried adding the package path to the CLASSPATH variable but still it isnt working.
The command am using to run the Junit test cases is as follows:
javac -cp junit.jar;junit.samples.CoinBoxTest-d CoinBoxTest.java
Any help or suggestions regarding will be appreciated. The coinbox package is not being detected by java.

It smells like a classpath problem. Post a sample of the code you are testing, the package statement in particular and the directory structure where the .class files are.

Need help installing OS on iMac with no OS
Hi,
I just bought an iMac G4 15" Flat panel 800 mhz from the University of Wisconsin Madison. They surplus computers often but they have to strip all software off including operating systems. They have reassured me that this one works it just needs to have the OS installed.
I have a full install family pack for OS X 10.1 (for powermac g4's) and have been trying to install it by holding down the "c" key after the chime. The problem is that the keyboard lights up initially but then it acts dead. I've tested the keyboard with other computers and it works fine. The usb hubs work fine too. I believe it's because it doesn't have an operating system that nothing is registering. I just get the beautiful flashing question mark face. The drive is CD-RW/DVD-Rom and it definitely sounds like it's working. I've gone into open firmware and had to do "eject cd" because the cd won't eject when pressed on the keyboard (because like i said earlier, the keyboard acts dead). this type of iMac doesn't seem to have any way to open the cd other than the keyboard. I'm ultimately going to put Tiger on it since i have a family pack upgrade but i need to get the first OS on before i can do anything. I'm considering using firewire target mode and copying something from one of my other mac's just to get it started.
If anyone can help, it would be very appreciated! I have searched the discussions and when people have asked how to install the OS respondents simply say "it's probably a stolen computer" or "it probably doesn't work". No, same difference. If those disks are not for the G4 iMac, they will not work.
I would just wait for the Tiger disks to arrive.
BTW, if you have less than 512MB of RAM, I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to at least that much. Tiger is a pretty RAM hungry OS and will want at least 512MB. -
Need help in Creating DB manually with OFA

I want to create database in 10g manually and for this purpose
I need help.
since we can use OFA for storing Control files, and redolog file
and datafile by describing them in Create database command but
how to store any instance related file like spfile, pfile or network
related file.
once the oracle 10g database software is installed then if we want
to create database then how can we separate the database file and
all other instance files from software binaries because I've noted
that creating database with DBCA create all instance files along with
binary files of the software although DBCA give you option of creating
database related file in some other location/directory.
kindly help me in this I want to achieve above task in compliance with
OFA

D.AbbasiTHe OFA spec (as best I recall) states that one of the levels of directory for all of your data files will be the db name. So if you name your database 'orcl', every file system in which you keep any files related to 'orcl' will be in a directory name 'orcl'.
As for what happend when you created your db. Oracle will default to putting things in the Oracle home structure because that's the only thing he can guarantee will be there. But you had the option (indeed, the obligation) to override these defaults.
BTW, when using dbca, if you chose any of the pre-canned database types, the database will be created by doing a restore from a pre-canned backup. If you chose 'custom' database, the database will be created by way of a CREATE DATABASE script. It would be instructive time well spent for you to go through dbca and select 'custom database', pay attention to all of the options as you work through, then at then end, deselect "create database" and select "generate scripts". Do the same for one of the pre-defined database types. Then study the scripts generated by each method.

I am trying to make a template for a picture movie where i have everything ready so i just need to add 250 pictures and then it will automaticly shift the pictures to the beat of the music. I once saw a toturial how to do this but cant find it. it was something with manually setting markers at the music beat and then just add all the pictures. but i must have missed something pls help..

Need help in installing JBOSS along with Jdk version

I am using Linux 64 bit Machine.

But the JBOSS Server is failed in booting.

Need Help Please: Audigy2 Value conflict with onboard sound
<SPAN class=postbody>System info: Windows XP Home Edition, 2.4 GHz IntelPent4, 52MB of RAM; DDR 200(33MHz), MSI MS-6547 (645 Ultra) motherboard. I need help! Sigh...well I am trying to put in a Soundblaster Audigy2 into my computer. I am under the impression that I have to disable and remove all onboard sound b/c it conflicts with the new sound card, ?. I currently have onboard sound ( AC97 Audio Controller ). I went to add/remove programs and removed the AC97 from there. I also went to MyComputer/Properties/Hardware/DeviceManager/Sound,Video,andGameControllers/AC97AudioContoller and deleted it. st Question: Under DeviceManager/Sound,Video,GameControllers...Do I need to remove the Legacy Audio Drivers? I know that I have to delete the rest of the drivers for AC97 and out of chance would Legacy be those drivers? I am guessing no...Also, is there anything else that I have to delete for the on board sound program to be gone? 2nd Question: I went to BIOS, and since I have windows XP home edition I think that configuration is a little different from what I read(I wont bore you with that). So, where do I go to "disable" the onboard sound in BIOS for Windows XP HomeEdition? Also, I read something about making sure the "Chip" was disabled but I could be paranoid. Do I need to worry about that? If you made it through all that text I thank you dearly. I hope that I can get some help from someone b/c I know nothing. Ross,
To fully disable teh onboard audio you would need to go into the BIOS to disable the Onboard Audio chip there. The manual with your motherboard or PC should have more detail on where exactly to find this setting, as it will differ per BIOS type. Generally it should be under a heading like Integrated Peripherals, and should be marked as the Onboard Audio chip, or AC97 Audio.

Need help in Custom component creation with cq

I have created my own component in adobe cQ and able to drag an drop in any page. for each instance I am seeing the copy of
component under node /content/mypage/commoncomp. If I edit the properties using design dialog I can able to store values as
expected.
Need help in
1) When I drag and drop the component it shows null for the property by deafult if I click save on edit dialog then the
value is showing. The default value is not shown by default while drag and drop my component it requires atleast one time to
click save from dialog using design mode
2) I need to use the default properties of the orginal components which is root and use the duplicated properties if incase user edit the properties of duplicated component. This may be too messy.... to be more clear
I want to use a common component in many pages but the properties of the components should be updated only when user edit it in design dialog utill then I need the page to use properties of root component.

Your version would use some kidn fo logic to determine whether or not to display certain elements. Is there some Help file in PT that I can reference that will enable me to find what namespace does GetRequestURL() belongs to?I would simply do a string compare. Tokenize the URL into the base address / control arguments, perhaps splitting on the "?" symbol; then tokenize the base address on the ".". You'll end up with three strings. For portal.plumtree.com, the three strings would portal, plumtree, and com. You can then use those string in the logig you add to PlumtreeTopBarView.

I need help badly on this issue with OGG
Hi can i get help on this issue? We have set up Active-Active GG on Test Environment.
While testing Golden Gate on Test environment we observed that test module level caching is not working as expected. Generally if a ban number is previously launched then on any subsequent execution of the same ban we should see test modules with timestamps in red color ( which basically indicates it’s been executed previously and no fresh tests are run provided no test module failed with test error ).
Now with GG setup we can see that the Data is getting replicated on both the Data centers but still when we re-launch the ban at second datacenter it does not show us as being cached(i mean since after executing test the DB is updated but on second data center still it tries to re-execute again and again but it doest get cached).
These both environments work fine as a standalone caching but not replicating the test results.
Any idea people?Hi Mike, i have not architectured my application, i am contractor who came to implement Golden Gate in our environment, this is first time i am observing this kind of issue of caching not happening, it is replicating data fine but the cached results once we give any BAN on one side it populates data and it is replicating that data(records) fine, but when we give same BAN on other Datacenter it is executing tests and populating data agiain, which is undesirable.
Can you please tell me from whom i can find out what will be the root cause of this issue, and which team to contact.

Need help changing from CC package to Photoshop only
I purchased CC membership for one year in December 2013. As I hardly ever need InDesign or Illustrator, I would like to change my order to Photoshop (and Lightroom) only. I find managing my account online very confusing. Is there a number I could call? Or some other way to get rid of the software I don't need, and that I did not re-order after my one-year membership was over?

Need Help Fast! Big Problem with iRecruitment after Clone.
I recently cloned my iRecruitment node (And all other nodes) to new windows server. All the other nodes work fine, no problems. However iRec does not work.
Any help would be great!!!!

I get kicked back to the "i Recruitment Visitor Home Page".

I need help. Very bad service with subscriptions
I have the worst service. Nobody helps me.
I need to update my card to renew my subscription. I lost my membership 29.99 deal because I could not pay. Each time I do the process in the bank charges one dollar (allready 14 dollars), not a lot, but not good. I can not work.
I call to the Mx phone number with brazilian time and it is open in the middle of the night until noon and nobody helps. Even I call to the US and nobody helps. My subscription is in hig level since two days and I have not a positive answer for my problem.
What can i do? I am in a problem because of these. Please Help me with my software. Really, really frustating.

There could be some issues with the international banking network for authorizing credit and debit cards that Adobe doesn’t have direct control over, but at least someone should be able to tell you what is happening, I’d think.
Your bank may only be “authorizing” a $1 charge, to test to see if there is money in a valid account. An authorization doesn’t actually move money anywhere, so the $14 may come back little by little as the time expires on each authorization after a few days. -

Ok I now have Sky BB (not fibre normal). I have a black Sky hub, connected to my Apple Time Capsule (the flat type, think its 3rd Gen), the TC is in bridge mode, the Sky hub has wireless switched off.
I also use Powerline adapters from the TC to my iMac, also use numerous WiFi devices, iPhones, Apple TVs, iPads etc.
I keep getting intermittent "blips", drop outs, no connection, slow use etc, and I just can't get to the bottom of it. Really really appreciate some solid advice and help. Overtime its dropped (or I think it is), I can check Airport utility on my iPhone or iMac and shows all green, and internet connected, physically iy shows green to. The sky hi also shows connection on the hub, and if I goto the home page.
I've just had a drop/connection loss now, I've been into the logs on sky hub and nothing is shown, only form yesterday. I can't check the TC logs now, I have the old Airport utility that did used to show you, but it won't open now on 10.10.3.
I've reset powerline etc, but it doesn't seem to be that, as although iPhone shows connected to WiFi it doesnt connect to internet.
I believe the actual Sky end is ok, I goto into the sky hub home page 192.168.0.1, and shows connected, Sky have ran tests etc and all seems ok. What I'm wondering is if its the TC? I've had a few times now where the TC says has to restart backup as been a problem

On the older units i find the earlier firmware more reliable.. The 7.6.4 introduced a number of new functions that work poorly on older AE and TC so it is simple to revert to older firmware and see..
It is a 3min exercise.. and might do nothing.. but you are trying to prove where an issue is.. this is part of that testing.
If I factory restore what will that do? I take it I can't use the backup settings to restore afterwards?
All routers need the occasional reset. Wrong settings creep in.. and particularly in situations where there is power outages or OS that works poorly (read Yosemite) then strange and wonderful things happen.
A backup of settings is only useful if it was taken before the problems started.. did you?? If not forget it and configure from scratch.. that is a key part of getting things to work.
Not sure what is meant by the use LAN port instead, thought I had to use the WAN if I connect it to my Sky hub?
When the TC is bridged.. it has no WAN port. There is no routing.. but I have found the LAN ports are more reliable than the WAN port.
With you saying about "only lasts a while" is it worth buying a new shape one refurbished from Apple? Are the newer shape any better reliability?
I would not buy a refurbished.. I doubt this model is understood very well and its issues happen in some situations and not others.. I think a lot of them are put back in stock without any sort of repair. They are tested .. found working and hence resold.. but the situation in people's homes is not a test lab. When people connect them to modems and routers that the device has issues with it fails again.
I find it hard to recommend the new one.. especially as it has now been out more than a year.. and firmware has not improved.
It is about refresh time and I would wait to see if a new one is coming.
If you need wireless buy a wireless router.. if you need backup use a local USB drive.
Repair of the TC is complicated.

I figured this out long ago so they were already showing up with issues within 3 years.. if you get 4 or more years out of modern equipment.. that is beyond its design lifespan. -
Need help setting up a network with new Airport Extreme
Hey All I need some help. Networks, Wan, WPA it's all greek to me. Here's what I am trying to do, I have a newer imac, an ipod touch, a apple TV and the kids have a laptop running on Vista. I have a DSL internet connection through Verizon with a Westell VersaLink Model 327W router. I disabled the wireless option on the versalink and hooked the Ethernet cable from the versalink to my Airport extreme. I am trying to figure out how to set things up so I can restrict the kids laptop from the internet after say 9pm but allow everything else unlimited access. I've read other posts and the manual but can't figure it out. When I turn the Airport off Bridge mode i get a bunch of errors re DHCP beginning and ending addresses and have no clue how to set this up. Before I spend hours on the phone with tech support I figured someone out there may be able to help. This can't be to difficult or is it?

i think i have the most recent 327w update, because it now shows my modem screen in a red color and it is broken into 3 sections across the screen.
as far as the AEBS is concerned, you did not use it in bridge mode at all?
i thought you had to connect 1 cable from it to the 327w? I have about 5 items i will be connecting, so i will probably run any wired from the AESB, but not sure yet?
