New app from the weathjer network for BB

Hi Downloaded the new weather app from the weather network in Canada for BB users.
I have the 8530 up to date, In the faq is says to click on the paw in the downloads section to put on the home page.\
Only problem is all I see in the d/l section is Blackberry help. the weather netwrk app
does not show there, only in the options/ applications, and cannot do anthing with it there.
Sent in email and kept getting auto replies saying go to the downloads sections and
click on the paw...yadda yadda, no icon there.. any ideas where it may be?? thanks Jack

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Unable to purchase new apps from the App Store

Since updating to the latest iOS I am unable to DL new apps from the App Store.

Might be an error of some sort, try logging out of your iTunes account on your iDevice and logging back in and see what happens

After you install Mavericks, run Software Update. You should be offered the updates in the normal update mode. No charge.

When I download a new app from the App Store it does not show up on my home screen but I can find it in my settings but out from it says no data

When I download a new app from App Store and press open when it's complete, it won't do anything, and when I look on my home screens it's nowhere to be found but if I go to settings and look under icloud and usage, I can find them but out from it says no data. I have tried deleting them and reinstalling but that's no working either... Please help me.. Thank you very much:)

Try resetting the phone. Push both the home and lock button at the same time until it goes off. Keep them pushed until the Apple logo come up...
Also, try deleting the app and downloading it again.

Installing new apps from the App store

Is there any way to change where the icon gets moved to when it does the little hop out of the App store? I don't like how it goes to launchpad because I want to watch the progress bar as it moves, and I can't move it off the launchpad for whatever stupid reason to the dock during the install/download process.

I want the icon with the progress bar on it to go to the dock, like what Snow Leopard had, not to the launchpad. I don't want to bring up a whole new window/go back to the app store to check it's progress, because if I'm going to do that it might as well be the launchpad, not the purchased tab in the app store, which I don't want.

Make sure Restricitions is not enabled.
Tap Settings > General > Restrictions
If you are using the same Apple ID to login to this forum it should work on your iPad at the App Store.

Hi, I still use an iPhone 4, ever since my recent update of iOS I cannot purchase apps from the App Store, and a message keeps appearing saying that, 'this item cannot be purchased from the US store, and please switch to the Malaysia store''.

I keep getting this message when I try to update my apps and when trying to purchase new apps from the App Store. I checked my iTunes ID and it turns out that the country shown there is the one that I am actually living in. And it is the same as my billing address, but when I tried to update my apps again, I keep getting this message, 'you are not eligible for purchase of this item from the US store, please switch to the Malaysia store'. How do I solve this issue.
Besides ever since I updated my phone iOS it has started misbehaving, quite irritably at times. Dropped calls, slow typing, apps open very slowly, apps cannot be updated with prompts coming up like, this app cannot be updated now, please try again. I had to delete quite a few apps and reinstall them again. I had a trouble free experience with this phone till now, but is apple losing its magic.

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

HT1977 I downloaded an app from the iTunes store.

It shows up on my iMac in the itouch apps window, but it won't show up on the itouch. I have the settings set to synch all apps, and it appears in the left hand window.

Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps.

Go to Apple Menu > App Store > View my account > sign in and then edit the payment details with the new card details.
I am assuming that your card and supporting bank are in the same country as your residential (billing) address and that you are using the App Store of that country.

I'm not really sure what you did, however you can only purchase apps from the App Store not from individual websites. I've taken a look at the website myself and it does direct you to the App Store, is this what happened for you.
