New App Purchases never show in Profile Manager

I have been using VPP Managed Distrubuition and Profile Manager without issue since December then out of the blue new any app purchases never appear in Profile Manager under the App tab. Includes both paid and free apps and they are in the Purchase History of my Program Facilitator account. Nothing has changed at the server setup that I'm aware of and I'm not really sure where to go now as emailing VPP support resulted in a reply that they can't offer advice on Profile Manager and I need to speak to Enterprise support. I think my VPP token is broken.
I have turned Profile Manager off and back on, removed the token and redownloaded and applied it again and performed another purchase and still nothing is showing that has been purchased since Febuary. Have also turned the Push Notifications off and back on. The 80 odd apps purchased before Feb continue to work as expected and I can assign them to users, remove users from the program and retrieve the licence etc.
As a last ditch I updated the OS to 10.9.2 along with the corisponding Server App version yesterday but this has had no effect.
Greatly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Can do however won't that clear all my App assignments in Profilemanager and Managed Profile Settings? The MDM functions of Porfile Manager are working fine. Just can't see new App purchases.
I tested again yesterday and purchased 5 new distrubuited licences of Edmodo and Micosoft Word. Neither display to assign to users.
Have 73 existing purchases made before March showing still and I can assigned them to users who have enrolled. I can also continue to enroll new users.

    on very very rare occasions i've got a user reporting that a simple modal Alert blurs the main app but never shows up--which more or less blocks the app.

    no, there's always text when this Alert is called & it works 99.99% of the time. display list? yes. visible? it's supposed to be but on the blue moon events it's not showing up, main app blurs but the Alert dialogue simply doesn't show up. the client says it's happened twice over the course of several months.
    i can't reproduce this so i can't really debug it.

    Gee... maybe you should try contacting iTunes support like the message told you to do.

    The app may be free to download, but in-app purchases within them need to be paid for - there are a number of apps in the store which you can download for free but which then allow you to purchase extra features/items or to pay to unlock extra levels in games.
    You can try contacting iTunes support but they might not refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • New In-app purchases not showing up in multi-issue Viewer

    Hi all,
    We created a multi-issue Viewer and got that approved together with the first in-app purchase (folio).
    The app is free and downloadable from tehAppstore and the folio can be purchased from within the app as is to be expected.
    Last week however, we've uploaded three new folio's and the have all been approved by Apple last night but they are nowhere to be seen in the app.
    Is there a known delay between approval and visibility in the app?

    I'm having the same problem. Latest folio, which is 'ready for sale' as an in-app purchase and 'public/retail' in Folio Producer, is not visible on the content viewer. It was only approved by Apple last night - is there a delay?

  • Cant add Apps to login items with profile manager

    I can set up profile manager successfully, and set certain settings like the Dock, the login window, etc. But when I click on Login Items, and try to add an Application, the list of applications is blank. Tried it from my server, tried it logged in remotely, tried rebooting, tried it on several accounts and several groups, and its always empty.

    i recently purchased new apps, they show up in my recent purchases but they don't want to open.  My previous purchases work just fine.  I checked that I have plenty of storage available. I could not find the new purchased app icon on the ipad. It only shows in Appstore purchased tab.

    So you are saying that you cannot launch the apps from the App Store purchased tab then, is that correct?
    If all of your home screens are full, you can only find the new apps by using the spotlight search feature...drag down on a home screen to access the search feature.
    Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    OS 10.9.1, Server 3.0.1
    Everything seems to be set up and running properly except that no users are showing in the Profile Manager portal.
    Groups show proper numbers of users, but when looking for members they show nothing. The users pane indicates "no users."
    Users can log in without problem. Appropriate settings are used by the computers, users, and groups.
    Server.app and Workgroup Manager.app both show users and groups as expected.
    Any ideas?

    Got fed up playing with settings. Decided to start over with Profile Manager.
    In Server.app, Shut off Profile Manager.
    In Terminal run as admin: /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/devicemgr/backend/wipeDB .sh
    resetting to default empty Profile Manager
    In Server.app, restart Profile Manager.
    Users available in the portal again.
    Manually redo all settings needed.

    I am using Apple Profile Manager (on OS X 10.8) to manage some iOS devices.  I would like to be able to push apps to users using Profile Manager, however, I cannot seem to find a way to import an Apple Volume Purchasing Program redemption code spreadsheet.  Basically, I am looking for a way to deploy apps to the devices without the users having to purchase them using their own Apple ID's.  I've done some research, and I have determined that this funcationality seems to be included in Apple Configurator.  I am wondering if I can do the same thing in Profile Manager.  I would rather not have to change my MDM solution, if at all possible.  Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

    Thats how I understood Apples VPP deployment strategy.

  • New apps purchased on ipad not synching with iphone 4S.  This a new problem.  No problem in the past

    Purchased new apps on ipad.  Purchases did not synch with iphone 4.  Purchases are listed in my itunes account and on my ipad, however, they are mot listed as purchased on iphone 4s.  this is a new problem.  I did not have any probelms in the past wit apps synching with iphone 4.

    It does, but I use the SoundNote App because it records audio and allows me to draw diagrams in the document. Any thoughts on syncing the SoundNote files to the mini? I am sure it can be done with a wire, but I have a disability which makes it difficult to plug and unplug cords, so the more I can do wirelessly or through the Cloud the better. Thanks for your help!     In app purchase paid but never received? No answer from G5 Entertainment or iTunes either, 20$ paid for absolutely nothing, how can I request a refund? I have written two emails to iTunes as well as an email to G5, what a scam!

    I've been billed but the in-app purchase (itunes confirmation along with the purchase order id) but its not showing up within the game. I've contacted the game creators (popcap) but is there anything else I can do? (not heard from popcap yet).

  • IWork re-downloading with any new app purchase?

    I'm working with a number of iPad airs in a school environment.
    I've downloaded the free Apple range of apps and they were all functional.
    However, once I purchase or download a new app Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie and iPhoto all begin to download again from the very start.
    It does this every time I start to download a new app (EDIT: possibly only with downloading apps using redemption codes).
    This is happening on every one of 140 iPads, with their iOS fully upgraded.
    I've tried switching it on and off in between downloading the Apple suite and other apps, but it has made no difference.
    Any ideas as to what might be going on?

    For the record, this still appears to be an issue; came to the community to ask a very similar question. Not all my iWork apps require re-installation every time, but Numbers is 100% consistent (and often insists it needs to be re-installed even outside of other app downloads). The other big offender, though not nearly as constant, has been iMovie. Updated to the latest versions of all, including iOS 8; deleted and re-installed Numbers and iMovie, and the problem persists. This is on an iPhone 6 Plus. If there's any way to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Does Profile Mangager in Lion Server show network printers? I can get USB printers to appear, but the network printers that I have mapped in the Printers & Faxes system pref don't appear? Is there something that needs to be done to make them appear? For now, I'm using Workgroup Manager to push printers, but it would be nice if I could use Profile Manager.
    The network printers are shared out so they can be used with a program called AirPrint Activator for iPad printing.

    I'm on Mountain Lion Server, and had the same issue; restarting Profile Manager made the printers appear, although maybe I just needed to wait longer.
