New line in smartforms after the enter command .

Hello experts ,
I get text from a text box , and i need to display it in table field on my form.
After the user push the 'ENTER' button during inserting the text , i need to display this text in a new line
How can i do this ?

For example , the user write the following text :

After every line in this text the user push the enter button, in the table filed which will be display in the form, the text should be display as it is written below.

Getting # instead of new line - in smartform

I am displaying a PDF in popup window, in which I am getting '#' instead of enter (Keyboard enter i.e. new line).
Details -
I have some text boxes, in which I can put the comments where user can press the enter on keyboard (new line character). When I look that comment on browser, I can see the enter pressed i.e. text is displayed on next line.
But when I open a smartform, it shows me '#' instead on new line. FYI - If I look in infotype value, there also it shows '#', but I am able to get new line in browser (it doesn't show '#' in browser i.e. it works fine in browser).
Only issue is with PDF or smartform.

I understood your problem.
I faced similar issue in smartforms while printing Longtext text with #(enter). I found a solution for the same.
I got Text with # into ET_LONGTEXT Internal table. I have done below code
data : ET_LONGTEXT     TYPE TABLE OF     BBP_PDS_LONGTEXT,
          ES_LONGTEXT     TYPE     BBP_PDS_LONGTEXT,
          ET_TDLINE     TYPE TABLE OF     TDLINE,
          ET_TDLINEF     TYPE TABLE OF     TDLINE.
LOOP AT ET_LONGTEXT INTO ES_LONGTEXT.
SPLIT ES_LONGTEXT-TDLINE AT cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline INTO TABLE ET_TDLINE .
APPEND LINES OF ET_TDLINE TO ET_TDLINEF .
ENDLOOP.

Setting a '%' after the enter_query command...

I have written an "enter_query" command in WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE....
After that i want to set a '%' into a block item which is dababase based.....
How can i do that.....????

On behalf of using the same standard (code,colors... on template) i don't want to use.....it....????
Isn't there any other solution...????
I have tried various solutions(built-in procs) .....
:<block_name>.<item_name>:='%';
copy('%','<block_name>.<item_name>');
in both PRE-QUERY and afterwards the enter-query command(in when-new-form-instance)... but no desired result....- i mean the character '%' is not written in the block item!!!!!

I am trying to append new lines into the created purchase request via Function Module/ BAPI.
Say, now, the Purchase Request has already 1 line item. And i want to append new line items into
this purchase request via function module/ bapi.
Do you know if there is any function module/ bapi exists to do this?

It's weird.
I tried on the BAPI_PR_CHANGE, and the return message says that it has successfully changed the PR. But, when i see it via ME53N, it's not being updated.
Does anyone has sample usage/ code using this BAPI?

POA could not read document new storage area path after the storage was moved to another server

We migrate the whole GroupWise with document library to another server. The
server name and IP address are different from the old server. After the
migraiton, all email could be retrieve properly. However, the POA could not
find the storage area during the startup. All paths have been changed to
the new location. The old path message was showed on the NetWare server
screen once the POA is started.
So, I moved back the document library back to the original location and
changed the path in ConsoleOne. The "Path not found message was gone", but
I found the error message in the POA (Indexing only) - "Invalid path C06A".
When user retrieve the document and then save it, it also showed "Invalid
path c06A" and the document could not be returned to library. It still kept
on the temp folder. It occurred most of the document but not ALL.
How can I move the storage area to the new server without this error?

Dear Dave,
The NetWare version is 6.5.6. The Technote mentioned that I did try
already. The directory name didn't be changed, we just changed the server
and location.

Updated to 7.0.6 on my iPhone 5s and now my phone is all out of whack. It won't sync the new playlists I added after the update though when it's plugged into iTunes it says it's synced. Help please!

So I updated my iPhone 5s to version 7.0.6 yesterday, and now my iPhone music isn't working properly. It won't sync the playlists that I added after the update though when it's plugged in on iTunes it says that the music is synced. When I select a song in a playlist on the phone it shuffles through the playlists for like 3 seconds and picks a totally different song to play. I tried reinstalling iTunes, I tried restoring the iPhone, is it just a bug with the update? Nothing works. Any solutions are welcome.

Illustrator CS 6 won't paste into a text box/paragraph of text, instead pastes a new line of text in the upper left corner of my document. How can I get it to paste into the selected paragraph or highlighted text like normal?

I've done it a million times, I copy a selection of type...I select the type that I want to replace it with, and then I paste. Now, Illustrator will only paste the text as a "point text" (a single line) somewhere else on the artboard—it seems to always be the upper left corner of the art board.

In cases of sudden appearance of strangenesses, the list may be relevant, hopefully the easy part at the top.

If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Game centre doesn't contunue after the enter your date if birth section. How do I fix this?

How to draw horizontal line in smartform after end of the all line items

I am working on the smartform. I have created TABLE node in Main window.
i want to draw a horizontal line after end of the main window table node. i mean after printing all the line items of the table, I need to print one horizontal line.
Could you please help me how to resolve this issue.
FYI: I tried with the below two options. But no use.
1. desinged footer area in the table node of the main window.
2. tried with uline and system symbols.
please correct me if i am wrong. please explain in detail how to draw horizontal line after end of the main window table.
this is very urgent.

1 - in your table, create a line type with only one column, with the same width of the table
2 - in table painter, create a line under the line type
3 - insert a blank line text in the footer section with the line type you have created.

Generate new schdule lines in MMSA after the max limit I.e.9999 is reached

Releases are not feeding into MMSA since it has reached the max. schedule line. Now if i want to create new released in the same MMSA what i have to do.
In other words i want to know how to generate new schedule lines in MMSA once they reached the max.i.e.9999.

You cannot create new schedule lines after reaching the maximum limit. Please check which document type you are using PL or LPA. LPA is ment for release . Hope it works. Thanks.

Not able to print preview or print Smartform after the changes

Hi Experts,
I made a small change to the smartform, saved it and activated it. Transport it to our QAS system for testing.
But while trying to print preview the form i am not able to see any print/print preview. After my debug in the report that calls the form i found that at
call function G_FM_NAME it is not importing any values at all.
There was no change made on report or call function, we only change it on the smartform.
Could somebody tell me what might be the problem.

i have no clue what your problem is, it would be too much of a guessing.
But i have a way how you can find out what the problem is:
After your "CALL FUNCTION fm_name"
adopt your coding with following:
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_READ_ERRORS'
IMPORTING
errortab = yy_lt_errors.
ENDIF.
this will give you a list of errors if there are any.
Then have a look at that internal table, see the errornumbers and goto SE91 for outputclass "SSFCOMPOSER" and check what the message behind your error class is.
This has helped me quite often.

I discovered one feature by mistake, after finally getting my iPhone going again! I pressed the top button and home button at the same time once and saw a white flash on the screen! It turns out it works like a print screen button!! Very cool! Whatever you see on your iPhone, you can save directly to your photos, just press those two buttons simultaneously once until it flashes! If you guys already knew about this, I apologize. Please post any other favorite new features or apps here!! Thanks.

Well the update worked fine for me and one thing I love is that I can access the app store using the Edge network & not just via wi-fi. but if i can access the app store over the edge network then why not allow users to access the itunes store over the edge network as well? either way i'm happy. also, i liked the fact that when i tested the "locate me" feature in maps that the iphone prompted me for permission. that's a great security feature so that other ppl can't try to access your phone remotely or something and try to determine your location w/o your permission.
