New Records in DB are being corrupted after insertion

PROBLEM:
I am having a database (AW6.2.9) problem noted in previous, archived topics.
I have a DB with only 659 records, but have spent months compiling it. It is essential to my business. When adding a record the previous record is corrupted. Empty records appear at times. I have tried the various fixes; saving as AW5, opening as AW6, etc.
Potential causes:
a> have a bad record; or many bad records as I tend to copy records to create new ones (its partially an inventory db).
b> many colors used to make dataentry easier, reporting more fun.
c> adding/deleting/changing database fields QUITE A BIT as data is entered to develope the perfect layout
QUESTIONS:
1. Is the DB fixable? How to detect errors?
2. Should I open the pocketbook a little further and purchase a more reliable, more robust DB program? If so, which one. { I am an old COBOL dinosaur so have managed to use the AW6 flat file in a way that is robust enough for my business. (remember QSAM anyone....?)}

Yes, the database is scriptable but some features aren't.

I would be able to look at it (taking care of confidentiality of course) and to try to identify possible corrupted record(s).

iCloud emails in the Trash are deleted after 30 days on the website, and this over-rides the 'never' setting in Mail. There is no way of stopping this. (The Trash isn't really intended as a permanent storage area.)
Try this workaround. Go to http://www.icloud.com and go to the Mail page. In the sidebar, click on '+' to the right of 'Folders' to create a new folder; give it a suitable name.
Now click on the cogwheel icon at bottom left. At the bottom of the pane which opens, set the 'Move deleted messages to' drop-down menu to your new folder.
I'm not sure whether, when you delete messages in the Mail application, they will go to the Trash or your new folder - you'll need to experiment. I have a nasty feeling that Mail will simply move them to the Trash as before. If this is the case you will have to move them to your new folder manually - dragging messages directly to this folder rather than hitting the delete key will be the easiest way.

I am running the latest iTunes, the latest updates to the OS and on an iMac 3.4GHz Quad core i7 with 8GB of RAM and the music stored on local HDD.
Still locks up iTunes for between 2 minutes up to 20 minutes.
Really annoying.
If you find a fix please, please let me know, I have just been throwing hardware at it with no joy at all

Recording which articles are being read

I want to create a cloud tag of popular topics
What i need to work out
1. How to record which articles are being read
2. How to display these in a tag cloud
3. Then when a user clicks on a tag - all the articles which
similar
tag are displayed
What i have done so far (how am i going?)
Db called tags
Tables
tag, article title, article url, article description
# each article has a few different tags
e.g
article for preventing std has the following tags
std, sex, safe sex, HIV

wasn't good for SEO. so the article itself exists on a static
page.
I have close to 100 medicla articles and add about 4 or 5 a
month
so i would love to get this working to save me time and

Have been using this code from the pete frei tutorial - cloud
tags -. It is working fine.
In the case of my database, each article has 3 tags
associated.
So there are 3 fields as opposed to 1 from which to count the
tags.
How could I adjust the code to take accountfor this?
Also I am a begineer so if you had the time to provide a

Using Pro Logic X to record. I have several tracks and I'm trying to record an audio track. I have the mic connect to Avalon 737 then into apollo interface. When I record all track are being recorded into that track. I can't just get the audio to record.

Thanks for responding. Everything seems to work right except for the when I plug into the 737. Ok let me see if I can be more clear. I had this set up done with two representatives of Neumann, and DBox. Here it is I hope this helps. 32 Channel snake (24 Inputs 8 outputs) Channels 1-8 from snake to my Octopre for Drums. From Octropre output quarter inch lines into the Apollo 2, quarter inch input. This is so that the Apollo 2 is taking the drum tracks. Snake Channel 9-12 into Apollo 1 channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 13-16 into Apollo 2 Channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 17 into the 737, output of 737 into Channel 5 of the Apollo 1 quarter inch.
Ok The Dbox. Sum output L&R into channel input 7&8 of Apollo 1. Apollo 1 output channels 1-8 into summing input channel 1-8 of Dbox. Apollo 1 main L&R going to main analog input L&R of Dbox. Spid out to DAW input of Dbox. I have both ADAT of both Apollos connected by optical wire. Also have port 2 of Apollo 1 into port 1 of Apollo 2 connected by Firewire. Let me know. Emails are being deleted after a few minutes

I have an iPad 3 running IOS 7. I have a Yahoo email account. Recently, the ios system has been automatically moving my incoming emails to the Trash mailbox after a few minutes. How can this be fixed? Thanks

Only half my pics are being synced after the ios4 upgrade

Can someone please help. I feel like I tried everything. I have itunes set to sync the last years worth of photos. Itunes says there is 2200 photos but only 850 actually sync. I have plenty of room on my iphone. Every time I sync now it optimizes 575 pics but doesn't change the amount that are synced. I have tried removing them and re syncing, unchecking the sync photo box in itunes and then re syncing. Don't really know what else to do. very frustrating.

And? This has nothing to do with a playlist.
Just edit the info in the songs to add the artist. Select all the songs you want to change/add info, then right click-Get info.
You do not need to create apl,aylist for every album.
Go to menu View -> Show browser to see the Album and Artist.
Select one or some and it will show only the items under that listing.

I bought my new iPhone 5s from US Cellular and attached it said to insert the SIM card before activation. So I shut the phone off, insert he the SIM, and now it wont turn on. Any help? I have to activate it today and don't want anything to delay it.

I know it has to be frustrating wanting to use your iPhone but cannot turn it on. In this situation I would recommend the steps listed in the attached article.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.

Portege 3440CT freezes after some time while the files are being copied

It seems I'm having the same problem as missred in this thread http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=19232 (on the bottom). Unfortunatelly I can't reply there that's why I'm writing here. My laptop version is 3440CT.
My try was to make a win98 bootable HD drive with i386 directory on it, boot from this disk and start the installation with winnt.exe. OK, it works but while the files are being copied after some time it just freezes. I tried it both with one partition and i386 on active system partition and with two partitions and i386 on a separate non-system partition. I don't have FDD or CD for the laptop.
Any ideas what is wrong? Is it possible to install XP on the same disk the XP installation is started from?

PS: My other tries were:
- complete XP installation on another computer and then switching the drive
- XP installation on another computer up to the point it first resets (after finishing of coping the installation files) and then switching the drive
both unsuccessful. I also changed the drive to another one as I suspected it's phisically damaged. Now I'm out of ideas ;)

It should work out this way, so........ is it really freezing or did you forget to include "smartdrive" ?
Be sure to include the file in the root-directory of your HD and put the right command in your autoexec.bat file

Messages are being deleted automatically

We have been using TB successfully on Windows 7 for a couple of years having previously used Outlook.
My wife's incoming e-mail messages are being deleted after one month. They are also deleted from Webmail. The ISP says that they have not been deleted by the ISP but by a 3rd party program. We noticed the problem when searching for an old message. (I just checked using an old XP-enabled computer and all the old messages are there except nothing since June 25 2014.)
I noted this morning that all of my sent messages have disappeared. For the moment at least they are still on the ISP's webmail.
I checked our TB settings regarding retention and deletion, including those of 3 addresses that don't have the problem. They all look OK.
Can somebody please advise on what our next steps should be? Many thanks.

If you had pop and now want to use imap you need to create another (new) email account in Mail.
When you start creating a new account, press the option key when you click the Continue button and you will be given the choice of creating the account for pop or imap.

Music CDs are being rejected by my PowerBook G4

I have the latest OS version, the latest iTunes, etc. I never had problems loading and playing music CDs in the past, or uploading music from my CDs to iTunes.
Last week I bought some new CDs and all are being rejected by my Mac--they make a lot of noise trying to load, and then spit back out. I tried my old music CDs, one's I have previoulsy played with no problem and loaded, and they too will not work.
The CD drive does not seem to be the problem, as data disks, sofware disks, and BURNED music CDs WILL play with no problem
Cany anyone shed some light on this? What is going on? I'd think it was the copy protect thing on some CDs, but even my old music CDs are not being accepted into my compute. Has iTunes done something to reject music CDs?

Unfortunately, that doesn't address my problem. (Fortunately, however, my problem is not as severe as the one in that link!)
My problem manifests itself as some CD's not mounting: the Superdrive spins and makes noises for a while, then ejects the CD.
As far as I can tell, this happens only with one company, and only/primarily with more recent CD's. (Not sure about this, but I think some older CD's from that company that used to work no longer work after I inserted a fairly recent CD.)
I am sure it is related to some copy-protection scheme, but I can't find any files (visible or invisible) that the CD deposited on my Mac.
Any suggestions on what to look for?

Thanks Barney. To answer your first idea, these aren't alerts of the "alert me 15 minutes before the start of the event" type. Subscribers can switch those off by selecting "Ignore Alerts" in the calendar's Info pane:
My problem is that email alerts are being raised after any and all activity in my calendar:
If I create an event, subscribers receive an immediate email (like the one below)
If I change the title of an event (i.e. 100% of the time), subscribers receive another an immediate email. This clearly wrong behaviour makes me wonder if we've encountered a bug.
If I edit an event, subscribers receive an immediate email.
If I delete an event, subscribers receive an immediate email.
Secondly, these messages are apparently coming from iCloud. Here's what the subscriber sees when I create an event (I created this without editing the title, hence "New Event"):
I deleted my calendar from my wife's iCal calendar list and added it again. No change. I created a new calendar, and subscribed her to it, no change. Oh, and I am subscribed to her calendar, but I receive no email alerts (which is what we want).
She has an iPhone but I can't find any setting there that demands an email update for all calendar activity.
Finally, I'd add that it hasn't always been like this. These alerts only appeared recently.

Some albums are being listed before compilations instead of alphabetical order. Please help

I have a few albums that are being listed after 'Z' alphabetically and before the compilation section rather than being listed alphabetically. Is there any way to fix this? I like to have my albums listed alphabetically and not scattered to the bottom. I have attached a picture that shows this problem (It starts with Josh Groban and goes to the Miley Cyrus song).
