New SiteWare & Design. Apple or MicroHard?

THIS POS SiteWare: I am very displeased with the "New and Improved" Discussions design.
It is a good thing that I am a power user, because...
I lost my BOOKMARKED "personalized" page (it defaulted to the new front end page)
Lost all "following/created" associations to my account - had to "Intuitively" drill down from the "N&I" front end to get to my REALLY active post (which indicated I was already following it) -
I had to click the FOLLOW link/button & click it again which made  it really 'followed' by my identity.
Oddly, this seemed to trigger the follow/created quality in all the others though -
I guess we can assume Apple to be just like MicroSoft now.
Call a documented BUG a FEATURE next?
AutoSave is broken...
Login times out while composing posts (like this one)
WARNING: If one has a really important post, compose it in TextEdit then copy/paste into the compose pane then REPLY button -- quick.!
Sincerely distressed over devTeam's rollout of such a buggy system. I had thought better of Apple but now think -- Just like MicroSoft... release BARELY BETA to the Wide World -- then fix bugs reported by PUBLIC BETA for later Service Packs...

Terence, you seem to have focused on my angry rant, which in my opinion was rather restrained under the circumstances, rather than the issues. I appreciate your restraint in flaming me - using sarcasm is a true art.
I would be happy to debate the issues, but I think that, with you, that would be a waste of time. Kind of expect more from from a veteran (do you like that word better?) as yourself. Level 10. Member since 2004 I see. Lotsa points. Oddly, your profile picture reflects my mood right now.
Regarding the 'entire Internet', maybe it's time someone said it. What once was a community of bright, innovative, talented, etc. people has slipped some since the untimely demise of Steve Jobs.
Perhaps you would prefer that I defend myself and my choice of of such an empty term as 'power user.' You kinda asked for it.
So I will toot my own horn a bit before I get to the issues. I have been a Mac user and Interactive Developer since before the Internet existed. Google, Facebook, et al inventors were maybe not even born. I have developed Interactives when the only way to deliver was on 1 floppy - to computers that were just getting GUIs. I have been an expert with Director Lingo since before Java existed and Flash was invented and Macromedia bought it as a vector graphic  asset creation tool.  I  sat in the small conference room on Elm Street - Dallas with the team of Broadband Interactive led by Mark Cuban as he said, "This will either mean Billions or we will all be out of a job in two weeks."
I have led development on many interactive projects, some 'rescue' redesigns,  for many companies, some of which you may recognize, such as:

To the point... Interactive Design is  about the user, first last and always. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
My professional evaluation is this:
The new site has been developed to the "least common denominator" = iPhone/iPads
And been designed to be more like Facebook, twitter or the ilk than a Discussions/Help Bulletin Board (the tried and true solution)
Just look at the gateway page for proof... a bunch of icons to tap.
We, my friends, are the public Beta testers kinda like Windows OS rollouts - you seem to have scanned the entire Internet pretty quickly, wonder what the record is for Service Packs? The bugs are just a by-product of a poor process. Some bugs are expected, but this place is crawling with 'em -
I'd say live and learn, but Apple won't. Can't now, it's too late to put the Windows back in the bottle.

Now, to issues.
There is no way to workaround the loss of having the meager robustness of the old "personalized" user page.
Figured out a way to work-around the login timeout while posting problem - Do This OFTEN == Command + Click [the "Terrence Devlin" for example] LINK to open a new tab then close it to come back to your composition. Activity inside the compose pane is not sufficient to reset timout timer, it seems. The other workaround is to compose in TextEdit (or select all your composition - then use [browser] Services - TextEdit - New Window with Selection = start post over then copy/paste from TextEdit into the new compose pane. Not as elegant, but you don't have to remember to do it.
In case you unaware, you can't post/reply if you are not logged-in, so if you get up to take a c***, you can't post when you are finished composing.
Further, what tells me there is a problem is the SiteWare itself. BTW, the link in the alert does nothing. The alert pops up and goes away in 5 seconds. no time to read fully or react to click the dead link. Contact the System Administrator? Who would that be? How? Wait wait don't go away!! Aaaahh!
This is still a major bug - a workaround is never an acceptable solution.
One needs to be able to Delete one's own post (as well as edit it, of course).
the following is an example of timeout and no-delete as well as another bug.
When choosing to respond to Terrence, I clicked the link in my email notification. Resulted with Terrence's post in a page. So far so good. Had to login of course, back to Terrence's post page.
When I clicked Reply, the subsequent page had an "Announcement-like" pane at the top, above the compose pane, informing me that I had a "Previously Auto-Saved" version of the post I was getting ready to compose - for the FIRST TIMe I might add. Choices were (something like) Restore & Delete. I chose to retore it just to what it was...
Turned out to be a partial post from a thread in PowerBook forum  regarding my Pismo battery misbehaving. This thread spans before and after rollout timeframe but the specific post was after rollout.
This partial post is where I discovered the timeout issue, lack of delete and now totally erroneous association to another thread in a different Forum.

These few issues are BUGS, plain and simple. If I can get them to happen with merely a few minutes of trying to use the new SiteWare, these should have been caught in Alpha testing just as fast.
just imagine what lies ahead and don't forget to submit bug reports - Oh Wait! There's no way to do that! Scattershot posts all over the various forums cannot be collated and acted upon. Gee is no bona fide bug forum just an oversight, or is it Grand Design?
Maybe some of you Level-10ers (better than power user?) have an iside track with the powers that be?
Well, I guess I'll TRY to post this... we'll see.
