No 4g in Columbus Oh area

I have been getting spotty 4g, especially on weekends for a while and now have not had 4g for several days. What is going on and when will it be fixed? My contract is up in a couple of weeks and I'm inclined to start checking out other carriers. Any recommendations?

Thanks for replying! Yes, I've removed and replaced the sim card and the battery multiple times with no change. Some of my friends are also telling me they're having problems with getting 4g. I called Customer Service on Monday evening and spoke to a very helpful rep. She checked that my settings were correct but we could only do so much since I didn't have another phone to call from. I didn't have time to call back from my work phone on Tuesday and actually saw some 4g yesterday but lost it yesterday evening between 8:30 and 9. It's still 3g and I'm not showing any 4g when I look at network type and strength, only 3G-81dBm and 1x-92dBm.

Just wondering if anyone else is getting lag in the Columbus area? My thunderbolt normally will zip along, but this morning, it's super slow even though it says it's connected to the 4G network.
I normally get on my Sirius / XM app in morning, but this morning it was so slow the app basically timed out. I'm able to load web pages but, it's spotty and slow. The SpeedTest app won't even work
I haven't heard any from Verizon about the network being down.
I Rebooted, toggled the 4G, did a dance, ect ect.

Below, I have some questions so I can better understand the root cause so I can customize a solution for you. If you would be so kind as to reply with the answers then that would be great!
How many bars of signal is displayed on the device in the problematic location?
Were you ever able to use the phone previous without any problem at the location in question?
Does you experience these issues indoors, outdoors, or both?
Do the dropped calls happens when making or receiving calls?
Is the issue with the same number when happening?
What part of the southwest Columbus, Ohio area? (zip code preferred)

Verizon process for iphones for existing customers......are you kidding me?????????

Are you kidding me Verizon???
I did everything you told me in order to get my iphone right away. I got up at 3 am on the 6th and your website was down more than it was up...by the time I was able to place my order you tell me you are no longer accepting pre-orders. Try again on the 9th.
I stop in a store and they tell me they won't get any in the stores, I have to order on line or I will not be able to get my phone.
I get up on the 9th @ 3 am and place my order and they tell me I won't get the phone until the 18th. I am in bed watching the news and they show a lady walking out of a store front with a new iphone. Are you kidding me??? Was she an existing customer or not. Who knows or cares. I don't get mine until after the 18th.
So I go to a store front this morning and they have them in stock so I get my phone? No because Verizon shipped the phone to me at 5 am this morning and they can't cancel the order. They shipped it next day air with UPS but they didn't note for Saturday delivery so I won't get it until Monday....but there is another twist...the weather is bad and may delay the shipment...UPS can't tell me one way or the other so I may or may not get my phone on Monday and I have to stay home all day because they asked for a signature upon delivery.
Are you kidding me??? How is this customer service. Verizon you asked for an email so you could anticipate how many iphones to order. If you didn't get enough to service existing customers in a timely manner why didn't you tell us? If you have the phones in the stores why didn't you send me an email saying that I could pick up my phone in the store and save you the cost of an expedited delivery from UPS?
So here I sit without an iphone. I've been a Verizon customer since they began. I didn't switch to ATT when the iphone first came out. I waited until they announced that they were coming to Verizon. I did everything you asked me to and I still don't have my phone and am being put out to take off work on Monday or not get my phone until ???????????

Same thing happened to me. Very frustrating. My son and I were told four different things by four different reps and also from in store reps. We missed the pre-order, but my son went on-line at 3 AM on the 9th and ordered it. Our I-phone was supposed to ship on the 18th so we cancelled the order and picked one up at the store yesterday 10 minutes after a rep told me I could cancel as long as it wasn't shipped out yet. Earlier another rep had told my son earlier we could bring the order number into the store and pick it up while another told him no you can't do that. After picking up the phone in store, I go online to cancel and can't find it anywhere. I call and that rep tells me its just waiting for a tracking number to ship. So within a half hour I have a second I-phone coming. I called this morning and the order is now canceled, but I still have to deal with returning the other. Had they told me it would ship today, I would have waited because my son didn't need it that bad, but what a frustrating experience. Shame on you Verizon.

Is there a problem in the Columbus Ohio area? None of my Verizon phone do more than turn on and either shut off or have a blank screen. First thought was missed a bill payment, but I just checked and I haven't. Any ideas?

P35 Neo Combo F woes

Hi all.
I am new to this forum so I hope I don't repeat an old topic (I have looked for this problem and don't see it specifically).
Basically, I built a system for a brother 2 yrs ago using this MoBo with an Intel Quad 6550 and DDR2 800. It worked fine for him until one day it just went into an endless cycle of starting and stopping, fans roaring but no boot up. Long story made short, he had it worked on by some professionals in the Columbus, Oh area and after upgrading the bios to 1.3 and swapping RAM(which didn't work), they sold him a new Intel MoBo.
Well, I now have this Mobo (because I'm stubborn) in my rig and everytime I upgrade software or install a new component, it freaks. But, I don't get the 'cycle' that I've read about. In fact, I wish I did. I could deal with that. What it does for me is nothing but run the fans. No HD accessing, no beeping, no post; nothing unless I turn off PS, pull the plug, and repeat until it will post, acknowledge the HD and boot up. There is no set pattern to what will work either. I have pulled the cord, discharged the capacitors, reset CMOS, and had nothing happen. What really puzzles me (even more) is that when Windows restarts after maintenance or if I restart manually, the computer powers down completely and starts up again from scratch, maybe. Sometimes when I let it set overnight, it will start up after the initial 'stutter.'
When it boots up, it runs fine with default CMOS settings until powered down. Sometimes it cycles once and takes off, other times not. I have gotten no satisfaction from MSI other than 'send it in with $35 and we'll see what we can do.' What I'm about to do is buy an Asus board and use this one as a Frisbee, but I do like it when it works........

im normally not recommending this, but is 1.3 the latest bios onboard?
If so, might wanna update bios and see if that helps, there were some issues with powering down, memorycompatibility and other stuff.

T400 Recovery Disk deleted

I accidently deleted the Lenovo Recovery partition on the HDD of my old Lenovo T400 a long ago. Now I understand what it does, and I shouldnat have done that. I called the customer service and I was told it would cost me about $55 to get Recovery Data on DVDs. I dont feel like paying that much money for just a bunch of DVDs. Wondering if any one here would be willing to create the Recovery DVDs for T400 for me isnteadand mail it to me? I am based in COlumbus, Ohio area. On a 400 they would be XP. Hardly worth it IMO.
You could do the manual install if you did not have an image backup. Getting an XP CD and use the key supplied under you notebook.

I received a text indicating enhancements were made in Columbus, Ohio. Exactly which area of Columbus benefits from this enhancement? I have noticed that I often get a "No Service" status on my phone when in my house. If I go outside, I have spotty coverage sometimes. Wasn't a problem in the past. No changes have been made on my part - same phone and plan since I became a customer over a year ago.

Why can I not change the location browser I have moved from Indianapolis IN. to Columbus OH. and when I search it takes me to Indianapolis can I change this?

This seems to have been asked a lot around the net, however, there doesn't seem to be an adequate answer to it.
I am running:
Operating system is Windows 7Motherboard is Q67H2-AM v1.1
Bios is ACER ver. 2.10.1207
GPU is GTX 770
PSU is 700w
The Graphics card is plugged in to the 16x slot, the fans spin, but no display and no device is recognized in device manager.
I have tried a few solutions including uninstalling my onboard graphics driver from the device manager and going to upgrade my 600w power supply to a 700w one.
I think the issue is that I need to change the BIOS to PEG or PCI Express. However, in the Bios the settings for both "Primary Video" and "Onboard Graphics" are grayed out, meaning that I can't change them.

Looking to test my LaCie Bigger Disk - Columbus, Indiana

Anyone living in Columbus, Indiana so I can test my LaCie external Hard Drive on? Here's the problem. My Power Mac G5 doesn't reade my LaCie Bigger Disk when I use my FireWire 800 cable. It does however, read my LaCie Bigger Disk when I use the FireWire 400 cable, or my USB cable. So, either my Power Mac FireWire Port is bad or my LaCie Port is bad. I've tried two different FW Cables and have the same problem, so I know it's not the cable. On my LaCie I have two FW 800 ports and I have the same problem no matter which port I use. My guess is that my Power Mac 800 port is bad, but to make sure I need to plug my LaCie into another machine - iMac G5, or Power Mac G5.
To test my LaCie on another machine means driving up to Indy or Bloomington. I'd rather test it here in Columbus and if it's my computer then I'll make the drive to repair it....

Welcome to the discussions.
I see you also posted in the macrumours forum, so I'll try not to repeat what's posted there. The following is just some guessing, describing what I'd try to get the Bigger Disk running again.
I think the difficulties could stem from different block sizes if the bigger disk really provides a hardware based raid-0. Look at the labels on the disks to rule this one out. Also you'll find the advice of only raiding disks of the exact same model.
But then again many sources state the LaCie Bigger Disks are only JBODs, so this shouldn't matter.
Make sure you got the slave/master jumpers set the same as with the original lacie.
I'd partition all the disks seperately using disk utility with a Master Boot Record Partition scheme with no partitions (=free space) on them, then put them back in the case.

I'm new to Siebel. I had a call from customer saying that virtually every aspect of the application (login, etc) is slow after they did a massive data loading ~ around 15GB of data.
Could you please help to point out what would be the best practice for this massive data loading exercise? All the table statistics are up to date.

In order to create space on my MBA I just bumped iTunes media to G drive linked through Time Capsule. Now pointed iTunes at new iTunes libary on G drive and, even though all music files are there, iTunes can only 'see' 10 albums. Any help appreciated.

Mac Book Air has been struggling for space for a while so I bough at time capsule a) for back up and b) to host my itunes folder remotely. This didnt' work. I took it into the Genius bar and the genius there told me that time capsule is not designed for anything other than back up. Instead I have to connect a G drive through the time capsule's wireless router to my MBA.
I followed his instructions - moved my files from the Time Capsule and MBA directly onto the G Drive - which took a heartening 2 hrs so something must have been happening - and the held down 'Alt' when starting iTunes and selected the new itunes folder as the location of my itunes libarary which I wanted iTunes to 'point at'. When I opened iTunes only 10 albums are visible now.
In ITunes advanced preferences it says it is pointing at the correct folder. The files are all cleary there when I open the G Drive folder to take a look. But I cannot get iTunes to find them.
Any suggestions?
Secondary challenge - in spite of deleting the original itunes folder on my MBA I still get messages pop up telling me my start up disk is out of space and I need to clear some - I expected to stop getting this message now I had done this exercise above. I have emptied Trash. Again - any pointers appreciated. I am new to this world of 'intuitive' macbooks.

After admittedly only a quick read the one thing you don't say is how you are trying to make this move. Most people with moving library issues do it the wrong way. Plenty of web sites tell you how to do it the wrong way.
If the iTunes application is started before the drive with the library is fully mounted and awake iTunes will revert back to the internal drive.
