Hi SAP CRM experts,
I'm working on SAP CRM 2007 with interaction centre web UI - Service
Tickets management.
I'm encountering a problem with multilevel categorization:
let suppose that I identify an employee, the Interaction record is
created, than I create a service ticket as a follow up from it. The
multilevel categorization works correctly.
Then I end the interaction by clicking on the button end under the
Header Area.
The current interaction ends and I'm able to identify a new BP: the
Interaction Record is correctly created. Now I create a Service Ticket
as a follow up from the Interaction Record. In this case, the
multilevel categorization schema is no more available and an error
message is displayed by the system.
What should I do?

  • No Categorization Schema assigned to application Area

    Hi Friends,
    I am getting following error message while creating a BP Contact persom from IC WebClient.
    "No Categorization Schema assigned to application Area(BUS_ACTIVITY, SUBJECT_PROFILE, ACT000001)"
    The BP's are getting created, but the message appears once we try to identify the account.
    I think I am missing some configuration.
    Can you pls help me on this ?

    Hi Maiti ,
    Category modeler provides you four fields in the order type you wish to see it these fileds can be used as per your requirements and you can set a logical drop down say if A is selected in the first field then what should appear in the second & so on .
    To activate
    1.Add the CRM BSP application CRMM_ERM_CAT
    2.Launch the category modeler
    3.Select the advanced search and then go
    4.Create new schema
    5.keep the status in general tab as draft,go to application area and select the service ticket(where you want to see it).Go to categories tab
    6.Here you create a sub note say product
    7.create a subnote to this which will appear in the next field when product is selected in the first....and so on.
    Now once the logical seq is set ,go to general tab and set the status to released.It takes 24 hours for the schema to be active .Once it is active you can see the fields in your application area

    in web ui while clicking on category drop down in service request.
    it is working fine before ehp1 enhancement but now it is showing error.
    but still functionality is working only error is displayed.

    You do not need the Setup Assistant; in fact, you do not need any software on an external hard drive. I have two LaCie's; I erased the drive as soon as I plugged it in. You will need to format it anyway because most hard drives come Windows formatted. So, if you only want to use it with the Mac, highlight it in Disk Utility and choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as the format and the GUID Partition scheme under Options. While doing that, it will erase the drive (and get rid of the LaCie software) - once finished, your drive is ready to use for Time Machine or any other backup plans you have for it.

    For business area assignment to Sales Area there the Steps u need to follow.
    1.Define Business Area
    2.Then maintain Consolidated business Area
    3.Now in Assignment in Define rule by Salee Area u have to select Rule 002 which indicate
      Rule     002     Business area determination from sales area Table use (TVTA)
    Then u will find the data in Assign business Area by sales Area Screen & u can fill the business area there .

    Hello Raj,
    There are many different reasons/options:
    1) If you are on EA-PS package 200 you can try note 723605 to avoid the error message.
    2) If you are not on EA-PS 200 (application release 4.7) the reason of the message F6097 is the following:
    If for example Fund was activated in Customizing of Public Sector Management, it is not possible to assigned an company code to an controlling area, that is not FM relevant.
    Please check if it is one assignment available. It can be field fund or the others available in the following SPRO settings:
    SPRO -> Public Sector Management -> General Settings for Public Sector Management -> Basic Settings: Account Assignment Elements -> Activate Account Assignment Elements
    Please check if you have activated Fund or Functional Area or Grant or Funded Program there.
    How could you solve this problem: Please deactivate the fund (or the one that was active) temporary. Then assign FM area to Controlling Area. Then activate the fund again.
    3) Please notice, the standard is the following:
      COarea CCCC
           >  CompCode 0001     > FMarea FFFF
           >  CompCode 0002     > FMarea FFFF
           >  CompCode NNNN     > FMarea FFFF
    All CompCodes, assigned to the same CO area have to be assigned the same FMarea. This is not so in your case. Because different local currencies in the assigned CompCodes you assigned FM areas with
    corresponding currencies. Result: The assignment COarea <  > FMarea (via the CompCodes) is not ambiguity. This is what the error message of KP06 is saying (note  908908).
    If you want change the currency settings in CompCodes to assign only one FMarea to all CompCodes maybe you have to covert the existing transaction data, too (see notes 89531 and 39919).
    But I found a modification note 779180 it meets your assignments.
    Please check that. Maybe it have to be extend that KP06 will work also then. I'm not sure if it will also work if you assign these CompCodes to the same COarea.
    4) The relation between FM-area and CO-area can only be 1 to n. Because there is no direct relation between FM- and CO-area, you have to check the relations between the assigned company codes to FM- and CO-area. Please read the doumentation under the path:
    Public Sector Management -> Funds Management -> Master Data -> Enterprise Structure - Organizational Units -> Organizational Structures - Assignments.

    The issue is from HR ,  an entry for an employee was entered and suppose not it generated idoc failed.

    Hi everybody
    When I am creating sales order for a customer in the sales area into which it's CMR is maintained  eg. 1000, 10 , 00. I get an error message ' ship to party...is not assigned to sales area 1000, 10, 01.'' Here SP is also SH.
    I checked the common Distribution Channel & common Division Master Data & the ref dc & ref dv are properly maintained. I don't know from where system is taking division 01.

    Please check VOV8(Sales documet type control).Here in the document type which you are using,check if Item condition field is marked.If it is marked then system is checking the division of the material you are using.
    Extend the customer to 1000/10/01 and then try creating the order.

    Hi All,
    Where do you go to assign the applicant acknowledgement email correspondent letter in E-Recruiting?  I want to be able to choose which applicant acknowledgment letter I wish to send to an applicant when they apply to a job.
    Additionally, what if you had two applicant acknowledgement letters you wanted to choose between sending when an applicant applies?  i.e. one for applicants wanting to become employees and another for say interns where the working in the letter may be different.

    why do u want mail merge when you can get letters thru smartforms of E-rec......
    And how does a hr query comes in picture.....why this approach is being followed..

  • No Hierarchy Variant assigned to FM Area Test

    Hi...
    I am facing problem at the time of creating Budget using T.Code: FMBB
    System gives Error: "No Hierarchy Variant assigned to FM Area Test"
    After that I have gone through configuration & trying to assign Hierarchy variant to FM Area,
    Fiscal Year: 2010
    Hierarchy Variant: THV,
    then  it will show message that -  Here You are only allowed to enter Fiscal Year "0000".
    After that I changed fiscal year 0000 & trying to assign hierarchy variant,
    then it shows message that 'Hierarchy variant THV is incomplete with regard to fiscal year 0000".
    Now I am unable to post budget initial Entry.
    Kindly suggest the possible solutions for this.

    2. Update of Hierarchy Variant in Fund Center Master
    Also i am not able to save the Assignment of Hierarchy Variant to year 0000 and i get the following error message although the variant is entered in all Fund Center Master
    Hierarchy variant XXX is incomplete with regard to fiscal year 0000

    Hello Zahran,
    Please check the fund center already created without Hierarchy assignment in their respective master records.
    Solution: First you assign unassigned fund centers to Hierarchy and then try to pass the transactions.

    hi,
    Did you assign Plant with sales area and company code. please check also in enterprise structure plant assignment with sales area.
    Enterprise Structure => Assignment => Sales and Distribution => Assign sales organization - distribution channel - plant
    go to OKKP and check Sales => Alternative Authorization=> Heirarchies for Cost
    Center and Profit Center for Credit control assign.

    Hello Robert,
    You can have only one business Area in one Fiscal Year.
    So for the current year, you should  keep the Business Area, but you can change it for future FYs.
    To do that go to menu > Edit > Analysis Period and click "Other Analysis Period". Than you should be able to change the Business Area for future FY. You have to select the Analysis period, so it begins when FY is beginning...

    Dear Abbey,
    This is not possible with SAP Standard. Dunning area is unique per Sales Area. You can assign only one dunning area for the combination of Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and Division.

    Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Account Assignment/Costing -> Assign Dunning Areas
