No college deal confirmation email

Hello, I have tried signing up for the college deals the past few months and still haven't received a confirmation email.  I also have checked the spam of my college email. Fixed the spam settings and my school allows marketing emails. Any help would be great. Thank you Adriana

Thank you for your interest in this program and your desire to give us your business. I apologize if you have not received the confirmation email through multiple attempts and I can see how this may be a frustrating experience.
Due to recent changes to the College Student Deals program, current students don’t need to use .edu email addresses exclusively to register for the coupons. I would recommend trying a different – non .edu – email address. In the event you still don’t receive the confirmation email, please let me know and I can reach out to my support team for further research.

    My son has tried repeatedly to sign up for the College Student Deals, and has yet to receive an email confirmation from Best Buy. He has checked his spam filter, and I verified the email address is valid by sending him an email. The school doesn't block marketing emails.

    With the school year fast approaching, I’m sure your son is trying to get everything sorted before making the big move to college.  I know how stressful that can be having done just that a few years ago myself.  I also know that it’s imperative to save money when you can, because let’s face it; college can be unbelievably expensive.  Our College Student Deals is a great way to do that, so I can imagine your son’s frustration in not getting the coupons he’s requesting.
    While it sounds like you’ve tried to troubleshoot this issue on your own, there are a few possible reasons for not receiving the confirmation email.
    ·         A valid .edu email address was not entered
    ·         Your son’s school may block marketing emails from Best Buy (you’ve eliminated this one)
    ·         Your email account may be set up to block spam (it sounds like you’ve checked already)
    ·         It has not yet been 24 hours for the confirmation email or 72 hours for the coupon emails
    If your son has a valid .edu email address and waited the 24 hours for the email to generate, please send me a private message with your son’s school email address using the button included in my signature below. I’ll be glad to see what options we may have from there.

  • College Deals coupons never arrived...

    I registered for the college deals and verified my email address. but my coupons never showed up in my email... It has now been 6 days since i verifed my email address. I was hoping to purchase a new laptop since my current one has been giving me a lot of trouble. Summer classes are not over yet and I really need a new computer to complete my coursework. I am kind of disapointed since I called customer service and the only help they were able to provide was an email address that I could email to continue trying to get my coupons...

    It’s nice to save money whenever possible, especially when in college. I certainly would have appreciated it having access to some awesome coupons while I was a student a few years ago, so it’s disappointing to hear of the obstacles you’re running into while trying to get your hands on some. It sounds like you are being led on a wild goose chase, so I’d be happy to step in to eliminate some of the frustration you’re undoubtedly feeling.
    When signing up for our College Student Deals, one of two things should happen. Either your email address should automatically verified, or you should receive an email from our third party partner, SheerID, requesting additional information from you in hopes of verifying your account soon. After pulling up your Best Buy account using the email address attached to your forum profile, I see that you mention receiving an email from SheerID stating they successfully verified your eligibility to receive these coupons. As you should have received the coupons shortly after this, I’d suggest checking your spam/junk/promotions folders in case your email accidentally blocks marketing emails from Best Buy.
    If you find yourself without those coupons after checking the aforementioned folders though, please forward the confirmation email you report receiving from SheerID to [email protected] with the subject line, “Attn: Alex”. I’d be happy to review your case and see what options we may have available to us at that time.

    Hi I bought pages after the free trial, it is on my desktop and I can use it, But cannot get rid of the trial version, it wants my serial number for pages which was lost in a confirmation email when my computers hard drive went down. Need the serial number help!

    You could try recovering your email from a Time Machine backup. If you're not using Time Machine, or another backup discipline, this would be a good time to begin.
    It's also a good idea to keep such records on a remote server in case of a total disaster where you lose the external disk along with your computer's hd. Dropbox is a good free option.
    So, if you find that you're out of luck, it's only a $20 misfortune. Purchase from the Mac App Store and be on your way.
    There's one glitch in this deal. You must completely delete the Trial Copy before trying to purchase from the Mac App Store. Use Yvan Koenig's script to uninstall iWork.

    The College Student Deals program certainly has some great offers and I would do almost anything to get a good deal on an iPad! Sorry to hear you haven’t received an email with these coupons. I would like to help you take advantage of those deals!
    Using your email address you provided here on the forums, I was able to see that you received some assistance in this matter today. Is that correct? Please let me know if you still need help with this and I will gladly look into it for you further.
    In the meantime, you may try checking your Junk/Spam folders in your .edu email address if you haven’t done so already. Also, I recommend speaking to your school’s IT department to see if they have been blocking the emails altogether, as this has been known to happen by certain schools. I should be able to supply you with the email address they are sent from if you need it for reference.

    Order year subscription to Adobe Audtion. Order last week via phone through credit card. No confirmation email has been sent. I have contact suport over phone and propsied solutino would be fixed and recieve call back and email. None of which I have recieved. Someone please help I need this for school/

    We need specifics... as in who did you order it from? 
    If you ask me, this sounds fishy and you might have just been taken.  You might also want to consider looking up your recent credit card charges, and if necessary, cancelling your credit card.

  • Can a confirmation email be automatically sent to a person who submits a form?

    I am setting up a job request PDF form for internal use at my company. The team who will be filling out and submitting this form on a recurring basis wants to know if there is a way they can receive a confirmation email after they submit the form, stating the details (date, time) etc of the form submission. As it is, they submit the form and the data goes 'into space' so to speak and they have no record of the form submission or the data inputted. I looked all over and could not find any information about a way to do this. The only other option is for me (the distributor) to manually email them each time I receive form data. Of course I don't want to do this so I'd like to know if there's a way to automate it.

    You will have to set up the form differently than what you get when you distribute it via the "Distribute Form" wizard, unless you can configure your email server to send out an automated response (e.g., a vacation notification response). If you want to go this route, it might be best to set up an account just for your forms and set the vacation response to what you want. You'd then use this email address when you use the distribution wizard. The email address it uses is configured by selecting: Edit > Preferences > Identity > Email address
    You can change it back after you've distributed the form.
    The alternative is to set up the form to submit to a web server, which processes the submission, extracts the user's email address from the form data, sends the notification, and does something with the XFDF. It could forward it on to you in another email.

    You build an auto-reply message so when the information is submitted to your email address via the website form the  sender receives a confirmation.

  • Not receiving confirmation emails

    I logged into the the Creative Cloud and I am hit with a message that says I must confirm my email. However, no matter how many times I hit "resend" I am not receiving the email (I added adobe.com to my "safe sender list"). I never received a confirmation email of my order, either. This concerns me if you are going to rely on my confirming my email address to offer services that I may have problems using your new service. Any ideas?

    When someone subscribes to a newsletter, they automatically get sent a confirmation email (in addition to the double opt-in email) -- is there a way turn this off?
    Had a trawl through the knowledgebase, couldn't find an answer....

    To override the double opt-in confirmation email:
    1. Navigate to your form in the back-end
    2. Under more actoins, choose "Customize Web Form"
    3. In the HTML view, in the action append &OPTIN=true
    To disable auto-responders:

  • Why is the confirmation email sent to an email not on my account?

    I am trying to download Creative Cloud and when it gets to the confirmation email window, it has sent it email address that isn't mine. I have double and triple checked that my email address is correct in my account settings, tried again, and it still sends it to an email I don't recognize.

Could iTunes be corrupted?  I tried rebooting and that didn't work.

    The AppleID you are using to buy the book, must be tied to the location of the store where you are ordering the book from. Is your AppleID associated with an australian address? And are you placing the order at the Australian store? The Canadian store will not shiptoAustralia, see these policies: http://www.apple.com/internetservices/terms/sales_policies.html
    Also set the "Region" in the language & Text preferences to "Australia", while you are ordering.
