No of Jobs Per Org Unit

Hi Guys
I want to count number of employees related to a job in an organizational unit. So whats the relation between organizational unit and job. How it can be calculated.
I think Tables for this pupose are.
HRP1000.
HRp1001.
I am trying to use query given below but its not working.
SELECT *
FROM HRP1001
INTO ZIT1001
WHERE PLVAR = '01'
AND OTYPE = 'O'
AND SUBTY = 'B003'.
APPEND ZIT1001.
ENDSELECT.
Please note that I have to count number of employees in for all jobs in all departments. e.g

How to extract an employee reporting hierarchy per org unit in spreadsheet

Hi Guys,
Can any one advise if there's a standard report I can use to see employee's reporting hierachy in spreadsheetformat ?
Report must have per org unit positions with their related positions :'reports to' A002 relationship between two positions in a specific org unit and person's name/employee number occuping the positions.
I tried creating joint table but battling to undestand how I can have the two related positions info in the infoset.
Current standard report give me only positions with reports to relationship but haven't found report showing me positions with reports to relationship and their related position.

Have you tried using logical database PCH? That gives flexibility to create this kind of report. Create an infoset in SQ02 and an Adhoc Query in SQ01 based on PCH Logical Database. You will need the relationship subtype 'A002' and related object type 'P' on selection screen.

Terminate or Retire Action - Default 00000000 job and org unit

As of now, our system is set up that if there is a termination or retire action, 99999999 is defaulted into the position. The org unit and job ids are left as is.
II noticed when running program RHINTE30 that the program proposed changing all org unit and job ids to 00000000 on IT0001 that corresponded to an infotype 0001 record that has a 99999999 position id due to a termination or retire action.
So, is standard SAP set-up to to have 0000000 in the job and org unit id field on infotype 0001 when the person is no longer in a position (position = 99999999)? Is that what is best practice? If so, why? The concern about changing the org unit and job id to 00000000 for a terminated or retired employee has to do with if we are using the 9999/12/31 end date on infotype 0001 to look up an employee's most recent job or org unit information even if the employee has terminated or retired. How would we do this if the job and org unit ids are 00000000s?

Have u run the RHINTE programmes properly ?
are u able to save the record?
As some times it may be display probolem, if u r able to save the record then check the relationship in pp10/po13.
and U have not answered what Mr. Valeri is asking about your Implementation/support because these type we come accress if data is not uploaded properly.

How to reconstruct the right order of jobs in org unit

Please, could you help me to determinate, where is saved order of jobs and units in Organizational Structure?
I'm using HRP1000 for definition of objects and HRP1001 for connections between them. But I can't determinate the right sort order of jobs on the same level in an org unit.

More than 200 users per org unit

Hi Experts,
We are implementing SRM 5.0 and replicating org structure from HR systems. We have some org units which have more than 200 users. Please advise if there is any issue with it.

The 200 limit is for users generated through trasnc USERS_GEN.
If an organizational structure with a large number of dependent nodes is displayed in the overview area, access to the transaction can take a very long time.

Standard reporting for personnel areas per org. unit

Hi all
An HR colleague asked me for a tool to display a selected organisational unit and then show what personnel area it belongs to. They are cleaning up our master data and need this kind of cross checking but I cannot come up with any list to show this.
How would you do it? Do I have to build a query for it or is there an easier way?

FM for getting org units

Hi,
Is there a FM by which we can get the list of all the lower level depts assigned to a main dept. I mean all the org unit IDs below a specific org unit ID.
I am searching for something similar to FM: BBP_OM_STRUC_GET_USER_FROM_ORG, which will give the list of users assigned to that dept and also to its lower level depts.

Mismatch between Employee Org Unit and HRP1001

Hi,
I am facing one peculiar issue. The Org Assignment for a person is showing a set of Position, Job and Org Unit. But when I check the HRP1001 table for that position, the OU Relation shown is different.
On prodding, user told me that, they have deleted the relations table completely and renamed Org units and loaded fresh relations (O-O, O-S).
My understanding is: PA0001 will pickup the relationship from HRP1001.
Please correct me if I am wrong and how do I rectify this issue,

Cost Center, Org.unit is wiped out

Hi All,
When i terminate any employee using PA30 or PA40 transaction then it wiped out cost center and Org.Unit. We need this details. Kindly let me know if you know the solution to keep the cost center and Org.unit when you terminate the employee using PA30 or PA40 transaction.

Yes i verified the pa0001 infotype. After terminating the employee it is clearning the cost center, org.unit and Job for existing record and new record.
Example: When i hire a employee 1234 i will give cost center, position, job etc.,
If i terminate the employee using PA30 or PA40 then it will create a new termination record in infotype pa0000 and pa0001 etc., This new record the cost center, job and org. unit in infotype is blank. Also it is clearning the existing HIRE recod cost center, JOB and ORG. unit.

Function Module to show all jobs in that Org Unit.

Does any one know is there any Function Module which gives all the jobs that comes under that Org Unit. for example if org unit 10 has 2 Sub Org Units(11 and 12) and 3 jobs(20, 21 and 22) under it. and the Sub Org Unit 11 and 12 has 1 job each( 30 and 40). When you run for org unit 10 it should give all 5 jobs (20, 21, 22, 30 and 40).

Well you use a FM RH_READ_INFTY_1001 to discover the relationships between an ORG Unit and Jobs.
Alternative, you can write a simple query to extract data from HRP1001 to find the jobs under an Org Unit. Because Jobs are related to an Org Unit and this relationship is stored in Infotype 1001/HRP1001.

Hi Sarika,
Create an additional column in your output for integer field and populate the same with value 1 fro each row.
Then, SORT the internal table by Org. Unit and Job and perform sum operation on the column for integer field.
You can SORT by adding fields to the IT_SORT parameter in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and mark the DO_SUM in the new integer column fieldcatalog entry.

Hi Jay
Get the position of the employees for whom you are getting the error message and maintain infotype "Canada Groups for WCB" for those positions. This should solve your issue.

Actions for Org.Units, Jobs and Positions

Dear All,
I know how to create or copy the available actions for Org Units , Jobs and positions thro' the table T777M and run them through PP03.
Once I do it , when I want to skip some of the relationships it doesnt allow me to , the next page tab is grayed out.
I mean if we have for ex. a position reporting to a position and because he is, say CEO and I want to skip that relationship I am unable to , how to activate the skip or Next page tab ??

Goto table T77IV click on maintain, Click on New Entries >> Enter the subgroup ( PVOB) PV - Plan Verson and OB is for Object you want to maintain the number ranges for eg : 01C for Job. >> Enter and save the record...
It will take u to the next screen >> Click on maintain intervals >> Click on Add Intervals >> New screen will appear ... enter the details as below :
NO From Number To Number Remarks
01 1 19999999 This is Object range
Note : do not enter anything in "Current Number" & Do not select "Ext"
