Not able to replace & special character in WCF service XML response

Hi,
I am trying to replace a string which is & with "&". In the XML response, I m getting &amp;
I tried with "&amp;" also, but still not working.
Any suggestions will be helpful. thanks

Possibly the data you receiving is not UTF-8... Have you check with the data provider?
Try with other encoding... like ISO-8859-1 for example...

Not able to read Special character in reciver side

Hi experts,
I am doing one file to file tuneeling where I am picking source file from legacy sytem and puting the same file into Sap system without any transformation or convertion. However facing one probem there is a text BOMPREÇO coming in the source file same text my sender adapter is picking I can view the same text in my MONI payload but when the same file is getting placed in SAP application server it is coming as BOMPRE?O. I have used many encoding option including ISO-8859-2 and others but no result when I am changing it to binary mode from text mode it is coming as BOMPRE#O same for UTF-8 and ascii encoding option.
Please guide me in this regards

How to replace special character "/" in to "\" in the text field of PDF Form by using Adobe Javascript.

In PDF Form java script, returns the file path with "/" forward slash, but need to get default in "\" backward slash in the file path.

Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2

Hi friends,
I have setup the trading partner and the corresponding TP certificate import for receiving the custom XML via AS2 channel.
I am receiving the custom xml properly to oracle b2b and able to receive the same to bpel as well. however in the oracle b2b console under reports tab i am seeing only one record for inbound document receive and i am not seeing the other record for the AS2 MDN going back to vendor. I have setup the AS2 channel under the external trading partner --> Channel using the vendor AS2 URL and selected all the security parameters while creating the Outbound AS2 channel.
1. Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2.
2. eventhough i am able to decrypt the inbound custom XML and ablr to recieve it in bpel also for processing, in the reports tab the inbound message state is changing to MSG_ERROR and it has the folloing error message:

for AS2 MDN generation for custom XML receiving using As2 protocol, do we need to setup anything other than the outbound As2 Channel using the external vendor AS2 URL?
Can you please help me how can i generate the AS2 MDN for the inbound custom XML document i have received and also why the inbound message is failing even though i am receiving the custom XML properly to bpel?

Vendor has enabled the ACK mode as SYNC.
Below are the headers for the inbound message to B2B. and we are able to receive the input message to bpel also.

Please confirm if you had used SLFN0001 profile while configurig service desk
try doing this,it willl help:
go to spro-SAP solution manager-advanced configuration-service desk-status profile-change status profile for user status-double click on SLFN0001-here all the status wil be there in german language just check this once and if possible send me the screenshot for this
now go back and double click on SLFI0001-just have a look at this and send me a screenshot if possible

Portal Theme - not able to replace horizontal divider

Hi All,
I want to replace the blue colored bar under the TLN. But I am not able to do so.
I tried changing it through Theme -> Horizontal Divider but it takes the blue color again. (Separator.gif)
I am also trying to modify it thru com.sap.portal.navigation.toplevel.par but I am not getting where to change it. I am unable to find where exactly it refers to the bar.
Please guide where should I change in the par file . Any pointers will be helpful.

Hi,
one CRUDE method is, right click on the 'blue colored bar' and click properties. By this method u can identify image name atleast if nothing else. In com.sap.portal.navigation.toplevel.par ; search for the image.

Not able to send euro character ' €' via socket

OS : Solaris - The solaris login profile is set with LC_CTYPE, LC_CTYPE, LC_LANG=ISO-8859-15 and we are able to see this when we run the set command and also locale in solaris.

I m trying to send a euro character in java via socket, but in the receiving end not able to receive properly. Even I have to tried to set the Charset ( in the java code )

When I 'm running the above code in windows it is working fine whereas in Solaris it is not working. The console just displays ?, rather than the actual '€' symbol. Is this a display problem in console of vt100 or porgramming? Kindly suggest. How to make this work in Solaris.

Special Character Restrictions for Native XML Driver

I have found the following special character restrictions in the documentation:
"Because they are handled specially by the Native XML driver, do not use the following special characters to define element types and attributes in your XML schema:u201C.u201D, u201C/u201D, u201C\u201D, u201C:u201D u201C@u201D."
After checking the createad XML-Files in our projects that we will use for CR4E there is often a u201C.u201D in the definition. Because this is delivered from third-party, we wish that the u201C.u201D will be enabled.
In the moment we create the XSD-Files from the XML-File with XML2XSD.
It is possible in the future?

Not Able to Connect to the Hyperion shared Services or any other components

I am not able to login to Any of the Hyperion components, It was working fine until today afternoon. But now I get the following error
EPMCSS-00387: Failed to authenticate user from user directory MSAD. Invalid password. EPMCSS-07047:Failed to get connection pool from user directory MSAD. Error executing query. Verify User Directory Configuration.
I am able to login using the Native directory user, but It does not have admin rights.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Planning Appl not able to register and unregister with shared services

Hi All,
I created a planning application before that I created a datasource. After crearting an application I got an error as Application not able to register with shared services .
And also I am facing one more issue that is if I delete any particular planning application at that time I got an error as Application not able to unregister with shared services.
I am able to open the planning application through http://<planningmachine>:8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp and its working fine. I am able to open the Shared Services though Workspace but I am not able to find the option for planning application.
Kindly guide me how to overcome it.

Have you checked the logs? Found something?
This normally happens when there is issue with Planning app and cluster mapping. For some reason, the application maps to non-existent cluster in Planning system schema resulting in failure of HSS registration. you can manually re associate the cluster using configuration tool and try registering again.

CRM WEBic - not able to find letter created for a service order

Hi Friends
                   while creating a service order in web ic, trying to attach a letter using letters link from navigation areas of web ic, able to select a draft(word document) already provided and able to save the changes(document is saved from web ic and not from ms word) and also able to see the letter attached to my service order in business context area of service order, but when i close the session and re-logn, i am not able to see the letter created in previous session. If i attach a file from pc, it is saved to the service order.
         No enhancement is done on letter section of web is and its crm5.0
I will try to find any OSS note for this and update here once i find something.

     letter creation is working properly after system restarted(due to memory leak) but the problem is in Business context area, DATE and TIME fileds are 00:00:00:00.....,
any inputs highly apprecaited.
OSS not is notpplied so far.... and looking into this as well.

Not able to see iby_fd_extract_ext_pub custom tags of in XML data

I have customized the iby_fd_extract_ext_pub package to add the custom tags in the payment format xml data.Package status is valid but I am not able to see any of the custom element in the XML Data.

1. Do not prefix it just put your code in and compile - unless you want to call XX_IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB from IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB to have minimal impact to IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB.

You won't be able to put in an additional parameter, you'll need to derive the Payment Process Profile from SQL by linking from payment document to payment process to payment process profile; or just get the org from, say, the first invoice in the batch - as long as you always group by organization this will be fine.
3. Yes, it is probably that a patch will overwrite your customization - make sure you test it after each IBY patch - use applcust.txt and make sure your DBA's check adpatch logs for the file being overwritten!

Replace special character in links.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to create an application for WP which is basically an RSS Reader of multiple feeds.
My RSS Feed contain links, specifically image links, which sometimes contain special characters. For example, the character [ë] on my RSS Feed code is shown as [ë], thus making
it impossible for my app to fetch those images, even though they are displayed correctly on browser.
I thought a way to fixing that would be modifying html2xaml.cs to convert [ë] to [ë], but do not have any idea on how to really implement that.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Update:
I have figured out HtmlAgilityPack should have taken care of my problem, but it is not doing its job, I think a manual string replacement is what needs to be done, and I will try it and get back here with the results.
I was hoping for a better community here but anyway I'm going to post updates and the solution to this problem if I ever do find it that is, and I`m sure I will.
This must be a simple task for anyone experienced with Windows app development, but I do not really know why the hell do you people have to remain silent. I was told there would be people that would help me, never have I been so wrong.
