Notes long text assignment block in service request component

Hi,
In Service Request , i am seeing notes assignment block . its custom one which has been created by using SRQM_NOTES as component usage in SRQM_INCIDENT_H.
Every thing works good, the notes entered in that assignment block is stored in ZS01 text id of the service request.
My requirement is to change that text id to ZS02. I mean text entered in the assingment block should be stored in ZS02 text id of the service request.
I have checked all the methods of SRQM_NOTES and SRQM_INCIDENT_H to check the code(code for updating to ZS01 text id) but i could not see that.
Could you please let me know your suggestions.

If you set the position to 0 it will move to the 0 position not hide it

    sorry, but this is not working, action gets executed (I scheduled it when reaching status) but no update in text log happens.

    I need to add a new assignment block in the standard component bt116h_srvo. There are two approaches :
    1. create a new view in the component bt116h_srvo
    2. create a custom component and embed it into bt116h_srvo using component usage.
    Please tell which one is a better approach and why ??

    Thanks for the quick reply lakshmi. However I am sure there is no possibility of reuse . My  main concern here is tat will patch upgradation in future would have any impact on the views added directly in standard component  or any other risk in adding view directly.

  • How to view Knowledge Article Assignment Block in Service Confirmation

    Hi dudes,
    CRM 7.0 introduces Knowledge Articles, which can be used in Service Orders, Repairs, etc, they have an assignment block for this purpose. Unfortunately, it is not available for Service Confirmations.
    I'm not sure if it is possible to reuse the asignment block in this case. I found an interesting WIKI entry which tells how to display a z table in an assignment block. There is also information about how to assing a view to a component on building blocks config guide C04.
    So I decided to follow those indications, and try to reuse it.  It looked (apparently) easy (at least with my poor knowledge, since I'm new on this).
    From the service order (BT116H_SRVO), I wrote down the technical data of the KA assignment block:
          COMPONENT: GSDOCFLOW
          VIEW: HdrDocFlowEF
    I want to add it to the service confirmation (BT117H_SRVC). So I went to the Runtime Repository Editor:
    - Added View in ViewSet BT117H_SRVC/OVViewSet with component: GSDOCFLOW and View: HdrDocFlowEF.
    - Saved.
    I went back to the Component Structure Browser, View BT117H_SRVC/OVViewSet, Configuration tab, but the new assignment block is not available!!!
    The C04 guide creates a component usage before adding the view, which I don´t know if it is needed in this case. Checking BT116H_SRVO, there is a component usage for KA!!! but I tried to replicate it and I got to the same point.
    Maybe it is not as simple as I thought. I would really appreciate any advice on this issue
    At least, please let me know if it is feasible.

  • Can not update an assignment block with on_new_focus

    Hello Experts,
    I have the following problem. I created a new component which is similar to the component BP_BPBT to create activities for Business Agreements. In the overview page of the business agreement in WebUI, I have now the assigment blocks "Plannend activities" and "Interaction History".
    When I create a new activity in the assigment block "planned activities" with the new button and save the activity with the buttons "SAVE" or "SAVE AND BACK". The new created actity is shown, depending on the "Active Status" , in one of the assignment blocks "Plannend activities" and "Interaction History". When I create an another activity in the same way, the new actiity is not shown in the assignment blocks. But when I reload the page again, I can see the new created activity.
    During debugging, I see, that the first creating activity is in the collection in the method ON_NEW_FOCUS. When I create an another activity, the collection is not updated. Here is my coding:
    * get collection of dependent nodes
      TRY.
          entity ?= focus_bo.  "BuAg Entity 
        CATCH cx_sy_move_cast_error.
          RETURN.
      ENDTRY.
      TRY.
      lr_entity = entity->get_related_entity( iv_relation_name = 'BuAgBuPaRel' ).

    Can anyone explain me, why the activities (after the first one) are not in my collection.

    Hi,
    Please check if you have added your entity to collection after you save the entry. It looks like your value is saved in DB but its not reflected on UI because you are not refreshing your collection.
    I would suggest that you write a code after you save and commit to refresh your collection of the context node.

  • Assign account from Service Request when creating a New Task

    When creating a new task from within a Service Request the SR # is defaulted we would also like to default the account associated with the SR on to the Task. How can you do this?

  • CSXSRISR not opening SR when doing Find Service Request.

    We recently upgraded from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 this was tested and was functioning correctly, however this morning this issue began.
    Under Service --> Find Service Request
    You can search for the Service Request that you want to open, the results return, you can choose the SR you want to open and click OK, however the CSXSRISR form does not populate with the any data. It opens as if you selected Create New Service Request.
    This is a major issue for our agents as some of them can not do their jobs.
    Why would the search results not open the requested SR?

    Well I figured the issue out. The folder at the top had been modified during a search and saved as default for a responsibility with the SR number as a query attached. Modified the folder that opened in the header and it works normally now.

  • Field Changes not captured in processing log in service request

    Hi Experts,
    I have activated the processing log for service request in CRM, but I am only able to see the changes done to status,notes,attachments. As the field level changes are not shown in processing log in web ui, but the same is visible in the GUI in change log. Is there any specific setting which I need to do capture the field level changes? Please let me know on the same

    Hi Navin,
    Please navigate to the following SPRO path and update the customizing the field that you display in the processing log.
    SPRO->Customer Relationship Management-> Transactions -> Settings for Service Requests -> Settings for Processing Log -> Define Change History for Processing Log.

  • User status- when selected it logs date/time & User in Work Not. long text

    Hello,
    Is there a way when a user clicks on a user status on Work Notification the long text will be updated to date/time and username.
    For example:
    If we have 3 approval process: Supervisor Approved, Deputy Manager Approved,, and Manager Approved.
    When the Supervior press the Supervior Approved (User Status and saves) the long text on the Work Notification will update with log of  time/date & user. Then the same for the next 2 approvals.
    This will help us a lot.

    I really dont know why you guys need to update the long text when user status has been changed. You could simply trigger the email to the approver who needs to be notified. but anyway if this is your rqmt, I think you can do it thru field exit. Talk to ABAPer and get a help from him

    They are maintainig the account fact sheet ZCC_FS_ACT in work center ,PFCG role id - SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT ,.Now account fact sheet is avialbe in work center of icagent.Now if we open any account- then click account fact sheet there is no data is not displayed in assignment blocks of service orders,service sales and ibase all....
    Data is not populating in accoutn fact sheet..,..if  you possible tell me steps and how to do it.?and if you share any information its great and help ful for me?

    Prerequisite is, the responsible service team is determined based on the category selected.
    The employee responsible will be determined only if the service team is determined properly based on the category selected.
    Assigned the employees to the position in org model.
    Create partner function(14) with access sequence 009, and maintain the org determination rule AC10000258 in access sequence.  The first employee assigned to service team in org model will be displayed as employee responsible in transaction header level by deault, if you want to change the employee responsible in service request, you need to select the check box in parties involved assignment block in Service request, main partner column for the employee.

  • Assignement block - Private Note

    Hello everyone,
    I have a question regarding the assignement block "Private Note" available in service request.
    I have read somewhere that this block is for user only; which means that the text enters in that block will be only visible by the user that wrote it.
    However, I am struggeling to find information on that block and on the authorization process that there is. In fact, my client requirement is to have that block that can be visible for everyone and not only the user.
    Would anyone know if that's possible (even with little coding or enhancement)? Would you have any links or information available on that assignement block?

    Hi,
    To use private note for all users it will require enhancement in system which would be complex.
    Everything is done in class : CL_CRM_PRIVNOTE_IL
    Better to use standard notes section for this where you can define one more text type as per requirement and also can show text of newly defined text type in private notes or different assignment block by making small enhancement.

  • Service Requests not displaying on Service Request HomePage

    Hi
    i have been performing operations like inserting new Service Request, Getting list of Service Requests and Updating Service Requests via web service integration.
    Everything was working fine till 2 days ago. Suddenly today my Service Request HomePage does not show any of my earlier service request records??? However, when i filter for them using the SR Number i am able to view them.
    Also i get the list of service requests and i am also able to insert requests but the new records do not show in the homepage. Worst of alll, i am unable to update any of my earlier records bcoz the crm is not able to find the matching SRNumber!
    This is very confusing. Can someone please tell me how i can fix this problem?

  • Adding assignment blocks notes and marketing att to the Quickcontact Page

    Hi Gurus,
    My requirement is to assign new assignement blocks to the QuickContactCreate view in component BP_CONT.
    Right now when user want to create a Quick Contact create from Account Over view page, he could see a single view with general data. View name is  BP_CONT/ContactQuickCreateEF
    when you create a new contact(not a quick contact create) from master data, you could see notes and marketing assignment blocks along with general data.
    My requirement is to assign/display the same notes and marketing assignment blocks in QucikContactCreate Over view page also.
    Please tell how can i reuse/assign/display those two blocks in quick contact view
    I tried to assign the above blocks through confiuration but i dont see them in the left assignment block list to assign.
    can any one help me with steps how can i show those two assignment blocks on quickcontact create page and how can i use from contact over view page.

    Need standard Function Modules for Notes (long text) functionality. I need to create a notes tab in dialog program, this notes tab has all formatting icons to enable create/upload/modify the text entered and passed to SAP standard text objects.

    Take a look at function modules:
    - SAVE_TEXT (saves text to an existing object)
    - READ_TEXT (read text from an existing object)
    - CREATE_TEXT (writes text to a new object)
