OAS 4.0.8.1 Config on Task7 Post- P2G

Hello,
During Post Installation of P2G (Oracle Portal-to-Go Installation Guide,Task 7), I need to configure the 'Web Parameters' with 3 different MIME types, but I am not able to. "Error encountered while executing processor Oracle.OAS.Services.ServerApp.Display. "
All of the other screens / java
scripts() work fine, except this one! Please reply with a work-around, a fix, or re-direct appropriately.

I have
[APPLICATION.Portal-to-GoServer.WEB]
AppMimeTypes = - jpeg,gif,jpg,js,html
Try this config. Write if it helps or not.
I guess that the other two areas you mentioned shouldn't be changed at all.

I have modified all three, to no success.

  • DB Config Assistant Problem post install

I have downloaded Oracle 8i Personal Ed from Oracle Technet. I have gotten almost to the end of installation onto Win2K Professional. It has successfully configured Net8 Config Assistant and OMS NT Service, but the Oracle DB Config Assistant configuration fails. The dbSilentCreate.log file only says the following :
8i is an invalid command line argument.
Can you help me out please.
    Thanks In Advance

can you be a bit more specific about which parameters you need help with?
    defaults are (to my understanding):
    Listener port number: 1521
    Database SID: $ORACLE_SID
    Service name: $ORACLE_SID
Email address for notification: [email protected], if left null no emails are sent
Email gateway for notification: localhost (if you have sentmail or postfix installed and configured)
    Password for dbsnmp: secret?
    Password for sysman: secret?
    Password for sys: secret?
    This should help you.
@andreas: giving the advice to run a script that jlopes needs help with, isn't the best advice in the world. Trying to get your postcount up?

  • Config for Restricting Posting for WBS Element

    Hi,
I would like to know if there is a central CO config that could restrict posting of WBS elements (set as not allowed for all WBS element posting). Another way to do this is to lock account assignment to prevent postings to come in but this would be difficult since there are too many WBS elements involved. (We only need to do this temporarily during cutover)
    Thanks!
    Vivian

    Hi ,
Go to OKKP select ur controlling area n at the left side click on activate components folder double click on the fiscal year shown on right side
In this screen in activate component tab u can deselect projects tick ur purpose culd be solve. no CO posting culd be possible to project.
Thru OB52 u can block the posting periods so that FI postings can be restricted.
The second option U can lock the users who can do the postings  during cutover uploading

  • How to change config to allow posting to group currency field

    Hi,
I am experiencing a problem whereby the asset for my local currency (USD) is different from my group currency (USD). There are many wrong postings causing this difference.
And it is too late & tedious to do all the correction.
    Area 01 Local Currency (USD)
    Area 03 Group Currency (USD)
However, I would like to do a posting to asset in both loc & group currency. My current config does not allow changes to group currency field when posting a transaction to an asset. It is grey off. System auto generate the figure.
How to I change the config so that I can also input a different figure for the group currency ?
    Please help urgently.
    Thanks.
    Angel

    Hello,
I contact you because I need to maintain a "Person Group" (PERS_GROUP in ADRP table) for 1 sales organization (SD module), but I have no idea how to do that... I checked the customer master data views (transaction XD02) but I did not find anything...
Do you know which transaction I should use?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Confused with this ASA - VPN config issue

Hello. Can anyone help me here? I am new to the ASA config and commands. Everything works well, enough, on this ASA except the VPN. A client can connect but cannot access anything inside or outside. Here is the config. Can someone please take a look and tell me why VPN is not working? I don't want to set up split-tunneling, I would prefer everything to go through the firewall. Also, if you see something else wrong (or have a better implementation) then please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

I tried those commands but this started getting messy and so I looked at the current config and it was not the same as what I originally posted.  Looks like some changes were implemented but not saved so the config that I posted what slightly different.  Thank you for all your suggestions.  Here is the new config, confirmed as the current running and saved config.  Same situation as before though.  I can connect using the Cisco VPN client but can only ping myself and can't get out to the Internet or access anything internal.  If someone can take a look it would be greatly appreciated.  The main difference is the VPN pool has been set as a subset of the 10.30.133.0 network instead of using a separate subnet (VPN pool is 10.30.133.200 - 10.30.133.230).

  • Issue with new config

In regards to LDom 1.0.3 on Netra T5220:
Not sure what I am doing wrong, but saving a new configuration file to SC and reboot does not display it to be the current. Here are the steps:
    1. Allocate resources to primary
    2. Save new config file: ldm add-config initial
    3. Reboot: shutdown -y -i6 (or i5) -g10
    4. Enable "vntsd"
    5. # ldm list-config
    factory-default [current]
    initial [next]
Interestingly, I see that the new values are in effect.
Finally, creating guest domain always shows: flags=transition, delayed(modify) - no matter how many times the system has been rebooted.
    Thanks.

I do not see obvious problems in the config that you posted so I have these questions which I hope may lead us toward an understanding of the issue.
    - I think that my memory of using the test aaa command was that I supplied a username and a password (it has been a long time since I did this and perhaps my memory is not accurate). Your example does not supply user name or password. Are you saying that this test (not supplying the name or password) works on other routers?
    - Can you verify that the shared key specified for the Radius server is correct?
    - Can you verify IP connectivity between this router and the configured server?
    - Can you verify that the Radius server is configured to recognize this router (10.14.16.2) as a Radius client?
    - When you do this test on the router are there any log records on the Radius server that show that it received the test request for authentication? What does the server think that it responded?

  • Coldfusion instance & individual JVM config

    Hi,
I just started to set different JVM config to my coldfusion
    instances.
However out of curiosity, is there a way to identify for the
JVM args that I am using for my coldfusion instance?
I know that JMC provide this kind of information in
Java VM Settings, but I believe that configuration is the
global JVM config not the individual server's config.

  • Conversion to 9ias from OAS

We are putting together a migration/conversion strategy for
moving to 9ias from OAS and need to know if we can install 9ias
on the same server as OAS without any issues, then once we have
moved users to this, remove the OAS from the App Server?

I also posted this on the Metalink forum and did get a response
    back:
You can certainly install 9ias and OAS on the same box. You need
to be aware that the www listener of OAS uses Port 80 which is
the same port that 9ias tries to use for Apache. You will want
to change the www listener to something else. In addition, it is
not recommended that you use the same database for OAS and 9ias
because they use different pl/sql toolkit. You should use a
    different database for 9ias.

  • What version is my iAS ?

    Hi Friends,
We have and Application Server bundled when we installed Oracle Apps (EBS R12).
How do I determine the version of my Application Server? and Report Services?
    Thanks a lot.

the question about OAS has been answered in this forum several times before.
    - to see OAS version, check the $OAS_ORACLE_HOME/config/ias.properties file, or use the Oracle Universal Installer to see installed products.
    - for reports (rdf) or forms bundled with Oracle Applications, use one of the following to find the version of any oracle applications files
    strings -a ICQTYED.fmx | grep Header
    or
    adident Header ICQTYED.fmx

  • DAD FAQ?

    Hi:
Where can I get information on the setup and use of DADs for HTML DB?
    Thanks,
    Mike

the DAD for a default install is configured for you by the Oracle Universal Installer as you install htmldb from the 10g Companion CD. two other cases where you'd want to do manual DAD config stuff (using the OHS in either 9iR2 or OAS) are discussed the install/config section of our how-to docs at...

  • IIS 6.0 Policyagent not working with AM loadbalancer

Trying to enable SSO for IIS 6.0 website running on port 80 with Access manager 7.0. AM loadbalancer URL is configured on OracleAS webcache.
Everything works fine when policyagent is configured with one of the AM servers instead of load balancer URL. But when configured with AM loadbalancer URL a blank page gets displayed after user gives his credentials on the AM authentication page and submits. #simply appending the matching pattern in the policy or not enforced list.
#For example, if the not enforced list has the value http://host/*.gif,
#stripping the path info from the request URI will prevent someone from
#getting access to http://host/index.html by using the URL http://host/index.html?hack.gif.
#However when a web server (for exmample apache) is configured to be a reverse
#proxy server for a J2EE application server, path info is interpreted in a different
#manner since it maps to a resource on the proxy instead of the app server.

#is /servcontext/example.jsp and the resulting request URL with path info stripped

  • I need helping!!! configuring RDP access to my local server from a remote location on my Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall.

I need helping configuring RDP access to my local server from a remote location on my Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall.
I have attempted to configure rdp access but it does not seem to be working for me Could I please ask someone to help me modify my current configuration to allow this? Please do step by step as I could use all the help I could get.
I need to allow the following IP addresses to have RDP access to my server:
    66.237.238.193-66.237.238.222
    69.195.249.177-69.195.249.190
    69.65.80.240-69.65.80.249
My external WAN server info is - 99.89.69.333
The internal IP address of my server is - 192.168.6.2
The other server shows up as 99.89.69.334 but is working fine.
I already added one server for Static route and RDP but when I try to put in same commands it doesnt allow me to for this new one. Please take a look at my configuration file and give me the commands i need in order to put this through. Also please tell me if there are any bad/conflicting entries.
THE FOLLOWING IS MY CONFIGURATION FILE
Also I have modified IP information so that its not the ACTUAL ip info for my server/network etc... lol for security reasons of course
Also the bolded lines are the modifications I made but that arent working.

Unclear what did not work.  In your original post you include said some commands were added but don't work:
    static (inside,outside) tcp interface 3389 192.168.6.2 3389 netmask 255.255.255.255
and later you state you add another command that gets an error:
    static (inside,outside) tcp 99.89.69.333 3389 192.168.6.2 3389 netmask 255.255.255.255
You also stated that 99.89.69.333 (actually 99.89.69.233, guessing from the rest of your config and other posts) is your WAN IP address.
The first static statement matches Cisco's documentation, which states that a static statement must use the 'interface' directive when you are trying to do static PAT utilizing the IP address of the interface.  Since 99.89.69.333 is the assigned IP address of your WAN interface, that may explain why the second statement fails.
Any reason why you are using static PAT (including the port number 3389) instead of just skipping that directive?  Static PAT usually makes sense when you need to change the TCP port number.  In your example, you are not changing the TCP port 3389.
