Online mall points question

I bought an item using the online mall on February 5. The estimated time for the points posting to my account was February 20. It's March 2 and the points haven't posted yet, so I was wondering what was up.

    I recently returned from a trip I purchased through the My Best Buy Online Mall.  I made use of the Online Mall for the primary reason that it would also net me points.  I still do not see the transaction in my pending queue.  I am able to provide confirmtation numbers as well as transaction totals.  Please let me know what I can do to claim my points, it was quite a large transaction.

    I can understand questioning when your points for a My Best Buy™ Online Mall purchase will post to your account, especially if that purchase could result in a lot of points.  From my experience, it is fairly common for an Online Mall purchase to not emerge as pending in a member's My Best Buy™ account; however, the points should still post within 6 to 8 weeks if the member qualified per the offer terms.

  • DPM 2012 R2 Online Protection - Online Recovery Point Creation Failed

    Hi
    We are moving from protecting our DPM server with another server to use an Azure Data Vault.  2 of the Protection Groups work fine, but the third - protecting a pair of Folders - fails.  On the DPM MMC it shows Online recovery point creation
    failed, and in the Event Log it shows -
    Creation of online recovery points for D:\ on blah.blah.co.uk have failed. The last online recovery point creation failed for the following reason: (ID: 3188)
    The operation attempted cannot be performed at this time because a backup or restore operation is currently running. (ID: 100049)
    The DPM server is the only one conducting any backups.  The target server is Win 2003 (for the moment). 
    Could anyone give me any pointers?

    Ok, nobody any more ideas?
    The latest test involved 9.75GB on the protected server. I created the protection group and this was the outcome:
    Replica volume: 15.98 GB allocated, 0 KB used | Recovery point volume: 3.70 GB allocated, 0 KB used
    I then create a recovery point and then deleted all 9.75GB on the protected server. And did a full restore from DPM. It then gave following outcome:
    Replica volume: 15.98 GB allocated, 9.85 GB used | Recovery point volume: 3.70 GB allocated, 654.86 MB used
    Then after the creation of the first recovery point (sync + recovery point), I get this:
    Replica volume: 15.98 GB allocated, 4.79 GB used | Recovery point volume: 13.70 GB allocated, 3.27 GB used
    As you can see DPM took the 9.75GB and added it to the recovery volume. And strangly it took away half of the replica volume.
    In addition I get 3 entried in my logs:
    1) The used disk space on the computer running DPM for the recovery point volume of  E:\ has exceeded the threshold value of 90% (DPM accounts 600 MB for internal usage in addition to free space available). If you do not allocate more disk space,
    synchronization jobs may fail due to insufficient disk space. (ID: 3169)
    2) Synchronization jobs for E:\ on ****** have failed. (ID: 3115)DPM has run out of free space on the recovery point volume and will fail synchronization for E:\ on ***** in order to prevent existing recovery points from being
    deleted. (ID: 30195)
    3) Creation of recovery points for E:\ on ****** have failed. The last recovery point creation failed for the following reason: (ID: 3114)DPM does not have sufficient storage space available on the recovery point volume to create
    new recovery points. (ID: 214)
    I hope someone can help me with this.

    I am trying to create a price attribute, so I need to places after the decimal point. I how do I set that when I create a table?

  • Case-lock exclamation point/question mark doesn't work

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or a design flaw, but when I'm typing I put case-lock on and exclamation point/question mark only work on the first type then it reverts to comma/period. I don't understand why this is allowed for letters but not punctuation.

  • PROGRAM PARTNERS AND ONLINE MALL REMOVED!!!

    Good Afternoon Everybody,
    The latest hole in the sinking ship of Best Buy happened on July 31, 2014. Best Buy has removed the PROGRAM PARTNERS and ONLINE MALL!!! WHY???!!! No reason was given for the action. Just notice that it was going to be done. AND IT'S GONE!!! WHAT'S NEXT???!!!
    They've made it harder to keep my Elite Plus Membership by making me have to spend an extra $1000 a year. They did away with the @gamer Magazine!!! And before somebody says. "That was decided by FUTURE US the publisher of the magazine." Please don't. Best Buy had something to say about it and you ALL should know that!!! It was the "OFFICIAL MAGAZINE OF BEST BUY"!!!
    I just don't get it???

    As you alluded to, the Program Partners and Online Mall aspects of the My Best Buy™ program were officially retired on 7/31/2014.  This decision was made so that we could focus more of our time on the aspects of the program that are more widely used by our members in an effort to make the program stronger.  Those members that did frequently utilize the partner offers were sent an email in mid July in-order to notify them of the upcoming changes.

    Ok, I’ve been developing Windows apps since Win 3.1 (yeah, a long time) and have always admired the Microsoft attitude towards Developers and it’s desire to educate and empower R&D.
    So, I’m wondering what’s going on?  Why am I being asked to have an account to develop anything for MY own PC?  Why am I being asked for my Microsoft account password, repeatedly, when I’m just looking up documentation on UserControl or C3 keywords…
    repeatedly?  This is nothing short of annoying and it gives me pause and concern about the ecosystem.  Is the plan to lock down programmer’s capabilities, knowledge and tools?
    I’m involved in the TAP program for Windows 10 and have voiced concerns in the same category with regard to installation and deployment of Universal Apps.  Security is not a reasonable excuse.  Some of us love to program and actually
    control their PCs.  We are not planning to sell everything we write on the Windows Store.  What happened to programming something cool for your home network or just for friends?  We need, and used to have, Microsoft’s support in doing
    this sort of thing.  Documentation and tools are more important now than ever.  I’m saddened to see the direction things are heading…
    If there is a sane reason I’m being badgered to ‘log in’ to read .NET documentation every hour, please share.  If not, please consider lobbying to get things back on track.

However, I got the game yesterday afternoon in the mail and checked my purchase history today and I have points from my purchase and my additional GCU points but  not the 500 ($10) point bonus. This is discouaraging me very much from ordering with you guys online again until this is fixed.
    Also, I'm still missing two years from my gamers club membership that I rightfully paid for in November when you guys had a deal on gamer's club free purchases with cellphones. When I started I was good until 2018 but I purchased two cellphones so I should of been upgraded until 2022. Now if you remember at that time several of your board members couldn't see the date of when their GCU ended on their profile page (myself included) and if you look at my post history I even made a thread about my worry at the time where both you guys and the members in store told me "don't worry your correct date will show up when the site is fixed" well it has been several months and it hasn't. Please let me have what I paid for. I hate giving money to a company that I know 9 out of 10 times I can rely on. I am one of the biggest supporters of GCU and all the value it gives gamers on various social media sites and to my friends. Please don't make me stop.

    Right now my GGU says it ends in 2020 when it should be sometime in 2022. I have reciepts from all these purchases (both cellphones and games) but I hope just looking up my purchase history with your store will be enough for you.   • SharePoint Online Connecter (2 questions)

    I had 2 questions:
    1. I am testing out the SharePoint Online Connector and I had a question about editing the "Document Library
    / List Relative URLs" settings after the initial setup. I wanted to change my setting from the Shared Documents to a subdirectory for testing. Is there a place to edit this or do I have to delete and re-add the SharePoint connector ? 
    2. As a test I set it up where any time a new document was added to the Shared Documents it would send me an email. After I save it, it started sending me an email about EVERY document in the shared documents that already existed, not just new ones. Is there
    a way to set the trigger to only be for documents going forward ?

    Does the Archive Location parameter automatically move the item?  Auto-Deleteing the item is scarey unexpected behavior, especially since it's completely undocumented at this point.

    It would definitely be preferable to leave it where it's at.  Even if we must set a field 'processed' and use a view which restricts 'not processed'.  I think that's more consistent with how the SQL Connector polling works.

  • DPM (2012R2 ur 4) Azure Online recovery point creation fails

    HI,
    I am using SCDPM 2012 R2 UR4 to backup some files on premise. I created a backup vault - installed the Azure Agent on DPM (registered it), I downloaded the Azure Backup Vault credential file and provided it during registration process (it showed the correct
    subscription and region) and configured online backup.
    The backup to azure fails with Windows Azure Backup Agent cannot connect to the OBEngine service.
    I already re-started the service - no problem. No firewall locally - not sure what ports are required on outgoing company firewalls (didn't see anything in the documentation). I also created a new backup vault in azure and did the same procedure again. But
    the result is the same. Please does someone have any other ideas?

    Are there any events in the application event log after the failure ?
    Can you look in the CBEngineCurr.errlog in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp directory after the failure and see if you can find an error that will point you in the right direction.

  • Export for online printing service question...

    Hi all...I am new to all this exporting business so please bear with me. In the past if i wanted prints made i just burnt them to a disk and took the disk to a local photo lab to have printed. So the question is when using an online printing service such as Mpix, would i just export versions as original sized jpegs and send them to the printing service and that's it or do i also have to mess with the dpi setting? I noticed the default dpi setting is 72 for all the export presets. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...Dave

    when someone else is doing your printing always ask them how they want your Versions delivered first prior to burning the DVD, for example, 16bit TIFF, 8bit TIFF, colorsync (color mangement), dpi...there is an excellent tutorial/information on this in Aperture's help menu "Photography Fundamentals"
    what i do is edit the photograph by softproofing to the printer used. in Aperture select the Proofing Profile & then Onscreen Proofing

  • Distribution point - question

    1. Is there a way I can control the bandwith between 2 sites regarding the distirbution point syncronization
    Requirement:
    Pirmary Site --> Send packages to standard distribution point (server DP)  "Link is 3  mb bandwith" and I want to limit 50kb the transfer.  
    Workstation afftectd in the remote location 100
    2. What is you recommend for type of DP to be used  (standard DP or secondary site with DP)

    You can go to Site Database --> Site Setting(of the primary Site) --> Go to addresses properties of the address you created there is a tab of rate limit you can punch in the rate at what you want the data transfer to be.
    This can only be done for site to site communication.
    In your case Primary site to secondary site.
    Better you replicate package in out of office hours, rather then throtling the bandwidth to certain limit.
    3MB bandwidth is not a too good bandwidth for 100 clients where package size is large. Monthly patching package will be minimum of 200 MB size for Security updates itself. I suggest you should go for secondary site with DP role created which will also help
    in data transfer(rrporting data) collectively to primary site via Proxy management point role. Also for patching install WSUS console your secondary site Install SUP role then you need to configure it as Active SUP and configure it to sync from upstream
    server that will be your Primary site to get the patch information.
    Kindly mark this as Answere or helpfull as suitable to you so other can take advantage of similar situation
