Only one delivery to be allowed against one Sales order at item level

Hi,
I have a requirement  for some material in sales order if SO quanity is 25  we want that system should allow to create delivery of all 25 quanity one time  we try to use Max.Part.Deliv. at item level  by amking as 1  but system is juts giving the message and alowing to create multiple delivery,  can we map as per our requirement.
regards,
zafar

Hello Zafar,
your requirement of complete delivery required for some materials only, so it has to be taken care manually when user creates sale order, for those specific items complete delivery should be marked at item level (run availability check for the item and mark for complete delivery).
If you want a permanent solution, please go for a development - define a table & maintain all the materials which are required to be delivered as complete delivery and then modify the sales order program, there is a specific include where the abaper can do this code change.

Suresh.

  • Unable to change requested delivery date in the sales order at item level.

The issue is when I create order with one material (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I am able to change (in change mode) req delivery date for an item, but when I create order with 2 materials (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I can not change (in change mode) the req delivery date of any item. Req delivery date is then copied from the header req delivery date.
Is this a standard SAP functionality or a defect?

Req del date is the date requested by customer and  can be changed at item level. Probably the confirmed date in the schedule line is derived from the network scheduling after ATP check. (ATP check is not activated in this case)
I am able to change the req del date at item level if there is only one item (Linked to network) and not when there are two line items (Both are linked to 2 diff networks belonging to same project)
I tried to change the date in the network, scheduled and saved but that didnt change the date in the sales order. On the contrary, if I run ATP check, netowrk dates get back to original dates derived from sales order.

  • No cost booking against sales order+line item once accontng release is done

    Dear all,
I want to stop all cost bookings against a sales order + line item once the accounting release for that item has been done.
By cost booking i mean, all such transactions that are done for a sales order + line item that involve cost booking. Like, MB1A should not allow any goods issue against that sales order + item once accounting release is done.
Is it possible to that in sales order? Like by using any status at item level.
    Please guide.
    regards
    SAPshed

    Hi Ajay,
We have not kept automatic cost estimate marking during saving of sales order as costing dept wants  to confirm whether costing for the SO is correct or not.
Hence we have to use CK51N.
Now the problem is for any change in any line item of a sales order is changing the costing status from "VO" to "KA" for all line items of the given sales order in table KEKO.
This is causing measure problem as production people are facing problem while making any change in production order as already there is a check put in CO02 that if cost estimate does not exist for underlying sales order, then change in production order should not be allowed.
Similarly production order creation (converting planned order to production order) is getting held up.
Costing user has to repeated run CK51N for all line items of a single sales order if there is any change in any single line item of the sales order.
Hence pl. help and suggest as to what is to be done now.

  • Rare Problem in Delivery against a Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to make delivery against a Sale Order, but it is showing Only ZERO quantity available in this product.
I have checked the quantity and no doubt that there is sufficient quantity avialable in the same plant, same storage location.
No stock reservations have been maintained for that item.
I also have checked that there are no Safety Stock maintained for that product in that plant.
    Waiting for your precious reply.
    Thanks & Regards
    Kuldeep Dahiya

    Hi Kuldeep,
check the schedule lines and see is it a confirmed dates or not, if the schedule lines are not due system may give you the same message.
once again check for the reservations of the stock in MD04 and confirm it.
hope this will help u, if yes reward points.

  • One inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items

    Hi All,
My client requirement is one inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items.
    Please share your thoughts.
Thanks in advance for early reply.
    Regards,
    Jishu

    I totally agree with Amol.
I don't think I would touch that development nor would I ever tell a client it could reliably be done through development.
Knowing what I know about the table structures, I don't think you could create any development for this that could use a significant amount of the existing tables and functionality.  I think you'd have to create all your own Z tables and basically rebuild the functionality.  Tying it back in with SAP data will be difficult.
You're even looking at all custom screens for your results recording and UD as well.  And if you have follow-on functions like batch classification requirements, batch determination, COA publication, results copy functions, use of DMR and sampling procedures, physical samples, quality notifications, etc. etc.. you could be looking a whole lot of development.

  • Need help on IDoc for Picking, Packing and PGI against the Sale order

    Hi All,
I am new to this IDoc stuffs. Below is the scenario for which I would like to know the details of the IDoc...
    Business Case:
    1. Storage location is a HU Managed but not WM managed.
    2. This storage locations is managed by a third party
    3. Outbound delivery document against the SO will be created by our personnels in SAP for this storage location.
    4. Picking, Packing and PGI needs to happen/post via Idoc. (By packing here, i refer to assign the HUs that are already created for the materials and is available in the storage location and not repacking)
Is there any standard IDoc that can be used here to Pick, Pack and post PGI. We would like to have picking and packing in a first idoc and PGI on the second idoc.
    Thanks,
    Prashant

    Hi Typewriter,
Thanks for your reply on this post..
The business process is as below (it was changed recently to have the creation of OBD, pick HUS and then post GI via single IDOC)
    1. We have a storage loc in our enterprise structure that is HU managed but not WM managed.
    2. This storage loc is being maintained by a third party.
    3. SO will be created to be shipped out of this plant/sloc.
    3. The stocks at this storage loc will be Special stock "E" against the sales order. And the stocks will be Packed in HUs.
    4. The third party is informed to deliver the stocks (HUs - that do have the special stock number which internally refers to the the SO number and the line item number) directly to ship to party address in SO.
    5. The 3rd party will physically ship the HUs to customer and send in the details that they have shipped goods against the sales order.
    6. The details sent by the 3rd party will be received in SAP to create OBD for the sales order, Pick, Pack and post GI. This can happen via a single IDOC..
I am now planning to create a custom IDOC type referring to the standard IDOC type DELVRY03 and message type DESADV and to use a custom BAPI/FM.
Do you think I am using the right ones?
    Thanks,
    Prashant Kumar

  • List of sales order line items delivery

  • Apply unapplied credit against future sales orders

    Hi,
As per the current business scenario, there is a custom program which checks for the payment against the sales order and if it has not received, the program will put the order on Hold.
Now, there are few scenarios where customer has paid the amount but later on, due to some reason, (either customer don't want the item or the item is out of stock) company decideds not to ship the item. Now, customer asks the company to keep the payment and utilize it for future sales order.
Is there any standard feature available in R12.1 where I can find out unutilized credit against the customer and apply it to the future sales order?
I can think of CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE feature of Revenue Management in R12.1 but this is not solving the purpose 100%. Progress Workflow feature in Release Hold will simplify the releasing hold functionality but again actual problem will not get resolved.
If any one can help me in this issue, it will be really great.
    With Regards,
    Vishal Majithia

Not sure about R12, but in 11.5.10, you can create receipt for the customer and afterwards apply that receipt against any ar invoice of that customer.
    Hope it helps.

  • Uploading Purchase Order Against the Sales Order through DTW

    Hi Experts,
I searched the forum but could not see anything regarding this.
Can I upload Purchase Orders against the Sales Orders using DTW upload facility? Manually we do it through the Logistics Tab in Sales Order.
    Thank you in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    IC

    Hi,
You can use the BaseType, BaseEntry and BaseLine columns for this in the row level template (DLN1):
BaseType: it's the Object Type of base document (ORDR.ObjType) which is '17' in case of Sales Order
BaseEntry: it's the Document Entry of the base document (ORDR.DocEntry)
BaseLine: it's the row number of the line in the base document (RDR1.LineNum)
If you import your Delivery Notes with this info, the link to the Sales Order will be updated just as if you used Copy To in SAP.

    Regards
    B Mittal

    Dear Mittal
    Please follow the steps
    -  Go to VA02, input the sale order and execute.  There go to schedule line tab and see whether the stock is flowing under the tab Confirmed quantity.  If not do availability check and save.
    -  Go to VL01N, give shipping point, sale order reference and execute.  There click on Picking tab and input the quantity to be delivered in Picked Qty column.  Press Post Goods Issue on top.  Make a note of the delivery reference.
    -  Go to VF01 by default, the delivery reference will flow in your screen.  Press F8 and check whether the conditions are flowing correctly and if so, save the billing document and make a note of the billing reference.
    -  Go to J1IIN, click on From Billing here again by default the billing reference will flow; if not give the above billing reference and execute.  Save the document.
The above steps are applicable whether the material is excisable or not.  The control is in J1ID.  If the material is excisable, you have to select Material and Chapter ID combination in J1ID and for that material, maintain 1 under the tab Declared.  If excise duty is not applicable, dont maintain any value there.
    thanks

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
how to reserve the stock to the customer against the sales order if this process is not MAKE TO
    ORDER SCENARIO.
the prices of the products will be often changing drastically so

  • PO against valuated sales order stock posting to consumption account

    Hi All,
I am creating a PO with account assignment against valuated sales order stock. However the posting happens to consumption account (GBB) instead of the stock account (BSX). The following settings exist
    1. The material type is both quantity and value update
    2. The account assignment category used in PO is E which has special stock = E, account modifier = VKA and consumption posting = E
    3. The requirement class (in SD) has account assignment = E and valuation = M (even tried with A)
    4. The valuation class for valuated SO stock has been maintained in the accounting view
However the system picks up the account corresponding to GBB-VKA and not BSX. Can anyone point out any setting that may be mising here.
    Regards,
    Ketan

    Hi,
Maintain the consumption posting as blank against the account assignment used in PO in OME9 and test the scenario again.
