Optimizing a cad/cam application

We have rolled out the 512 wae's to the edges and 7326 wae's to the core and having an issue with a cad/cam app as it's very slow...Does anybody have any experience with "taming" a cad/cam app in the wae's?

DRE will minimize the transfer of repeated chunks of TCP data and should be very effective with CAD/CAM files as they are uncompressed and contain repeatable sequences.

i am using client/server based application and cad/cam software was also installed on it. helper application means, the cad/cam software should provide some controls to view the drawings in other applications? am i correct.

Portege R835-P56X web cam application stuck on screen

So hi peeps, Ive had my Portege for almost 3 years, and this problem just started in the last month or so. The application menu that is hidden off screen and slides out when you put your mouse there is stuck on screen, will not go away, and remains on top when other programs are running. Its extremely annoying! There's no error message or anything. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so, how do you fix it?

HT4623 I have lost my camera application and the ipad is asking for a 4 digit pass code that I do not know.

My camera application has disappeared and the ipad wants a 4 digit number pass code that I did not set up. It will not allow me to reset defaults without this pass code. Please help

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Suggestions for optimal solution to load application with dynaminc view

Hi Experts,
I have a Web service which is providing me data from database as well as data which will help to create UI of the view.
In my view i have to ceate tabs in a tabstrip. Number of tabs are dynamic depending on data from web service. In each tab i have to create tables with dynamic columns and some additional text views and edits. Now, tabs and columns of tables, coming from web service are in random order and i need to sort the tabs and tables depending on values filled in a database table. this database table is like a configuration table.
Creating view in a random order is done and for createing a sorted view i am planning to go with "bucket sort". Now my question here is as every thing is dynamic it will take lot of time for aplication to load which is not desired.
I need your expert suggestions on how can i reduce the time view takes to Load entire application.

TS1702 Camera Application isn't working good in iOS 6.

Updated my iOS 5.1.1 to the latest iOS 6 and realize that my Camera Application keep Crashing in Whatsapp when taking photo.
And sometime when I want to take picture using the camera application itself.
Does anyone have the same problem as i do?

I'm no expert on the technical in's and out's of Photoshop - hopefully someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime-in soon - but this might be a Win7 issue; is your User Profile set-up as an "Administrator?"
As for your CS3, a word of warning. As of CS6, which should be released in April, Adobe will only allow us to upgrade from One Full Version back, as opposed to the three versions we are currently allowed.
What that means to you is that when CS6 is released, if you are NOT on CS5, you will NOT be able to upgrade to 6 or any further releases, you will have to buy a new full copy, which will be very expensive; a new copy of Photoshop CS5 is roughly $700!

IPhone 3G S video camera application...?

Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone is aware of a video camera application that will allow me to listen to my music in the background while I am recording video, the default video recording function pauses my music whenever I record. I want to know if such an application exists because there are situations when I don't want my music to pause during the recording of a video; one such situation would be the recording of highway activity while I am driving. My iPhone has a dock that aims it straight down the highway and records video nicely whenever I want, but it pauses my music...I don't want that.
I've searched the App Store but to no avail. I guess this would be an opportune time to consider purchasing a Mac Mini just to write a video camera application that suits my needs, if none exists =D.

Toshiba Web Camera Application

HI,
A while ago on my computer the web camera application stopped working after it had previously been for a couple weeks before hand. Whenever I clicked on it my screen would go black and then come back and nothing would happen. Now I am trying to fix the problem,I just tried uninstalling it from my computer which I did and now when I click on it it tells me that windows is searching for it and I can browse for it myself if I want. I then tried reinstalling it from the support area of Toshiba.com and after I had downloaded it nothing happened, I clicked run and then that was it the program never popped up on my desktop. I was wondering if maybe I downloaded it wrong or if any one else has any ideas on how to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

IP Camera Application for webOS

Does anybody know of an IP camera application that runs on webOS that will display multiple camera streams at once?

I'm running CM9. CM10 still seems a bit unstable, and the difference between the two seems to be negligible.
I'm running Jelly Bean on my Samsung SIII, and don't feel it's worth the risk ATM.

TS1702 The default Camera application is not responding, it comes with black screen. Functions on the screen are unresponsive, very slow.

The default camera application became un-usable in my iPhone5. Cannot operate camera at all. It comes with a blank/black screen, camera controls are unresponsive, front-back camera toggle switch takes couple of minutes to response but with a blank/black screen both front and back.
I searched solutions and applied but none seems to work. I reset my phone, started as blank, with no user account, still camera is acting same (or rather not acting). Other apps that use camera give error when try to access the camera such as whatsap and skype. Facetime comes with a very blurred view. Couple of screen shots are attached.
I think need to erase and reload the camera program but I could not find how to do it. Is it possible? or is there any other suggestions?

The following article provides some useful troubleshooting steps that can help get your iPhone's camera working.
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

How do you reload Camera application after it was deleted

Any suggestions on how I restore the camera application to my iphone? It was erased during transit in a bag.

There is no way to delete the camera App.
Has it been moved to a different home page?
Has it been restricted? Restrictions are covered on page 106 of the manual.
If neither of these things are the cause then try a reset (page 34) or a restore (page 141).

Camera application crashing

I recently got an iPhone 4, my first iPhone. I love it so far, but it has one major problem: every time the Camera application is open either the shutter never opens, or the camera comes on for about two seconds, and then crashes, and my iPhone reboots. I have yet to take a picture. I've updated my iPhone and everything. Is there anyway to remedy this?

What I was told by Apple Customer Care is that they are aware of the issue and have to give you a new one. Just another problem that they are not talking about.
Of course, their "options" to get it replaced are horrid. Hopefully one will work for you. If you have an apple store (not AT&T or Mac store) nearby, you are in luck!

I need help using the phone Camera application with
FlashLite.
For a Flashapp I need the camerafunction to make a photo
which should be sent
to a server. It works with a absolute path like
("z:\\system\\apps\\CamMojave\\CamMojave.app")
for NOKIA N90. But that makes no sense for application which
should run on different models.
Is it possible to launch the camera with a relativ path or it
there a other way to use the camera??
