Oracle Help in RH8, not working as it did before

We're building Oracle Help in Robohelp & recently
upgraded to RH8. When I delivered the files to our dev team, the
files won't work. This is what our dev person wrote to me:
When I try to load the Oracle Help I get the following error
message:
oracle.help.library.helpset.HelpSetParseException: Unknown
error when parsing hs file: No toplevel tag in helpset file
I looked at the helpset file and didn’t see anything
different except the first line was changed
from: <?xml version='1.0' ?>
to: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>
I have no idea what this means or what I'm supposed to do.
Obviously something changed in RH8 that affects the build but I
have no idea what our dev team is supposed to do to make it work.
Any suggestions?

when you generated the Oracle Help from RH8, were you able to
view the help on your system. I tried generating Oracle Help on my
RH8 Machine and was able to view the Oracle Help, with out any
error.
you need to specify the encoding type to utf-8 while calling
the java compiler command.
-Dfile.encoding=UTF8
you can check the command line used by RH8, I am pasting the
command sent by RH8 to open the oracle help in correct encoding
type. you can forward the command line to your developer.

Streaming video (esp Netflix) not working. It did before.

I recently had a new hard drive installed in my Macbook, by the folks at the Apple store. I had brought it in for a few reasons; mainly, after a drop on the floor, the laptop was really slow in opening up programs, booting up, etc.
The computer is still running much slower than it used to (?), but the major snags are gone. Except now I have a new problem: When I try to stream video on sites like Youtube, it is really choppy. (Nothing has changed with my internet connection, I know that.) When I go to my Netflix queue to watch instantly, an error message comes up saying that "streaming is not supported for your operating system." Yet my OS is 10.4.11 when the minimum for Netflix is 10.4.8. Even after that laptop was dropped and a lot of the programs were running slowly, streaming videos anywhere from the web was not a problem.
Ideas?? Suggestions??

Does the "Fill free space with music" not work like it did before?

Before updating my iphone 4 to iOS5, the fill free space with music seemed to rotate in and out music and also provided space to add more pictures, podcasts, etc. Now it just seems to fill the phone to the max on the first sync and just leave what it put on there in place. If I try to add something like a folder of pictures it will only add a few of the pictures because there is no room. Before I think it freed up room by deleting some of the "free space" music. I'd like to go back to that. I really don't want have to had select every song I put on the iPhone when I have more music than my phone will hold.

Also, how does it decide what to add to the iPhone?

I had a problem of accessing Oracle 10g database homepage. After a couple of days of research and discussions with coworker we found a solution.
Here is the solution:
1. Find out your default browser.
2. Configure your default web browser to connect to the Oracle Database XE Database Home Page as stated
here:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25329_01/doc/install.102/b25143/toc.htm#CIHHJEHF
If this does not help de-install Oracle XE and reinstall following the instruction. During re-installation find out your default browser and configure it as instructed.
I suspect when the default web browser changes the Oracle 10g XE Database Home Page stops working.

Help viewer does not work after update to 10.4.4

Since updating to 10.4.4 my Help viewer does not work, and all of the troubleshooting fixes suggested in other threads have not had any success in resolving this. I've noted that when I go to Users>Library>Documentation>Help there is no mac.help file - can someone tell me if that means that I've lost the file altogether and need to reinstall it? I get to the first screen of the viewer, but the links from there don't work. Thanks for any help that you can provide!

Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded OnyX and ran the cleaning function. After restarting, I opened Help and once again the first screen appeared fine. But again most of the links did not work, though those under the "What's New" heading did work. I might add that I had previously tried a variety of suggestions posted in another thread, which included deleting from the caches folder in Home>Library several files such as com.apple.helpui and help.plist in the Preferences folder. (As noted in my previous post this evening, I also created another user but that also did not have any effect.) Any other ideas? Thanks

Help button is not working in Infoview

Hi All ,
I am working on BO XI R2 environment and help button is not working properly in my infoview.
I can get help files from Admin console but the same is not true with infoview.I got two different server installations, one of them its working fine but not for the other.
I checked for help files in IIS and they are there , even I verified web.config file as well for infoview and it also seems to be correct.
Please advice what could be the reason.

F4 help key is not working in all iviews in ESS in Portal.When i try to press it nothing happens and no pop up appears,kindly please suggest wt might be the cause of this error? Hi,
This kind of problem is known when webgui is being started from an IAC, e.g. HRWPC_FC_EXEC
You have to set parameter ~webgui_popups 1 in the service file of this IAC.

In P6 P6 Help link is not working

Hi,
My P6 help link is not working in help menu.
P6 Library and Support link are working.
As suggested in another discussion i tried to update link in Admin>Application setting and restarted weblogic, But system is still taking some other link than i defined in application setting.

Solution:
In the P6 EPPM Admin application in the corresponding configuration, In P6 Help url we have modified the url from http://hostname:8203/p6help/help to http://hostname:8203/p6help/ and we restarted the P6 server in weblogic console.
Then everything fine now,

Trying to run the below query, but always fails even though the parameter values matches. I'm thinking there is a precision issue for :xRowVersion_prev parameter. I want too keep as much precision as possible.

Oracle 10gr2 locally is not working after installing Oracle 11g

Does anyone has any idea after installing oracle 11g in system, Oracle 10g locally is not working. I am getting below error.

Generally this is because the software you install last updates the system environment variables with its information, thereby break products that use files with similar names. Specifically, look at PATH and ORACLE_HOME. Likely you will see that entries for your 11g installation will be displayed first. In order to use v10, you would need to change this or use script files to start executibles. For Forms runtime, be sure to properly set default.env to point to the desired PATH

It never delete ur all contacts and any others,but ur wallpaper and wifi connection will change..it can be as before...

Ok.
It sounds as if something is keeping the key pressed, and that can be down to 2 reasons.
The phone has got wet and the internal key is corroded and fused, making a constant connection
or
Dust or dirt in under that key and are having the same affect
Either one of these reasons will need to be fixed at a Nokia Care Point as it will involve taking the phone apart.
You can find the nearest NCP to you at the Store Locator
Use the drop down list on the right to find your country.
If it is either of these faults, the NCP will probably charge you as it wont be a warranty fault, but a customer created fault.

HELP CREATEBLOCKONEQ DOES NOT WORK!

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get the SET CREATEBLOCKONEQ command to work in my calc scripts. I have been to the Essbase Calculate Databases training class and it does not work like it did in the class. I even sent a code snippet to my instructor and it worked for him but not for me. See my example below:

This should create a block without the SET CREATEBLOCKONEQ according to my class book and the tech reference guide but it does NOT!!!!

Is there a database setting that needs to set to a certain value for this stuff to work?! This is driving me crazy and is causing me to create extravegant work arounds just to do what should be simple calculations according the all the documentation I have seen.

Don't panic! Advice from Douglas Adams and me (I am somewhat less well known, but still good advice). :)
Quick question, that will invalidate all of the below -- are you absolutely sure that BegBalance is in a sparse dimension? That's (generally) pretty unusual. If BegBalance is in a Time/Period dimension that is dense, it would explain why your code doesn't work. You could flip the code to say:

Scenario is more likely (I don't know your db's layout, but this is common) to be sparse. If the above works, you can jump out of this post.
Failing success, however, read on.
More advice:
1) Copy your database to something you know can't be in production -- I like Bozo.Bozo, but to each his own.
2) Clear out the data from Bozo.Bozo.
3) Go into EAS and edit the properties of the Bozo.Bozo database. It should say that it has zero blocks.
4) Connect to Bozo (I am dropping the app name -- you get the idea) in Excel and navigate to your 61100011, 611055, Q3Forecast, Fy2010, and BegBalance intersection.
5) Type in a 1, and lock and send. Delete the 1 from the spreadsheet, and retrieve again to prove that the number went in.
6) Now go back into EAS and Bozo and Edit->Properties. You will see one block. There can only be one as you cleared out the db in step 2 and proved that there were zero blocks in step 3.
Okay, having established that indeed, you can create a block by assigning a data value, I would now look go see if 61100011->61055->Actual->FY2009->Dec has data in your real database. Can you pull it into a separate sheet (obviously not the Bozo connected sheet)?
If you can do that, connect your first sheet to your original db. Now lock and send the number 1 back to the db. Retrieve to make sure it works. If you were feeling feisty, you might do a before and after block count, but it may be difficult to tell what the real block count is as you may very well have been creating the block and didn't realize it.
Ignoring SET CREATEBLOCKONEQ, try your second code block. You're just proving that you can assign data. Does that work?
The only reason I can see CREATEBLOCKONEQ not working in your example is if in fact BegBalance is not sparse. It won't work on a dense dimension.

My Help Viewer is not working for mac help

My Help viewer is not working for mac help. Everytime i choose mac help the window opens then closes. But when i open another help like safari help it opens and works fine. If i switch it back to mac help the window just closes and the application quits.
If you know how to fix please telll!
