Order numbers missing.

Hi All
For a requirement of mine i am pulling data from the standard datasource  2LIS_11_VAITM into a DSO..but  the problem is that few of the document numbers are missing and when i  check that in R/3 those numbers are found along with the order qty..but these records are not available in the PSA too...and all  the loads have run fine...
Actually i am pulling the Invoice data from other standard data source  2LIS_13_VDITM ..this has the ref field of the sale order number and there i am able to view the documnets which was not found in the order  DSO
Can some only tell as to wat would be the problem in documents being lost...
Regards
Shilpa

  • Production order numbers

    Dear all,
The production server in my clients place is crashed a few days before... Then it was made up...
But the users feel many data are missing...
For example, In COOIS, If i enter an order type and execute, say nearly 1000 orders are coming..
    SAy from 34500001000 to 34500002000.
But the order numbers are not serialised.. For exaple, the order numbers are 34500001000,34500001001,34500001002,34500001003,34500001009.......
SO the question is where do the orders 34500001004 to 34500001008 go..
Is there any possiblity that this can happen other than due to data loss...
    please guide me..
    THanks a lot..
    sap125

    Dear,
    Couple of things possible.
Check whether number range is set used for all the order type? Because you mentioned that you are running COOIS for a specific Order type, may be the missing numbers are used by other order types.
In standard SAP also there can always be a skip in numbers, due to the numbers which are available in buffer is not getting used during unexpected shut down etc... You can check the defination of the numbe range buffering using transaction SNRO- Object "AUFTRAG".
    Please go through this thread where this was discussed earlier [Number Range - Number skip|number range object for production order;

  • OSSNOTES for releasing process orders with missing parts in background

    Hi All,
The bapi 'BAPI_PROCORD_RELEASE' is not releasing the process orders
    with missing parts in background.
Is there any OSSNotes for releasing these process orders in backgound through this bapi.
    Pls help.
    Thanks .

Hi Suri - Thanks for your response. I tried both with blank(individual and collective) and 2 (collective req. only) but I still get the same result. I found one other setting that can solve this issue and that is checking the activate full confirmation logic at the the MRP group level in OPPR. I will test more and let you know if that works but we dont use MRP groups here at our client and that is why I was little hesistant to set up collective availability check parameters at the MRP group level. But looks like this is the only option that we can use to get this resolved.

  • List the intercompany billing numbers from sale order numbers.

suppose i have a set of sale order numbers. is there any report can list the intercompany billing numbers related to those sale order numbers?  i don't want to use VA03 because it can display only one sale order number.
    thank you very much,
    Anek

    Hi Anek,
Run the transaction code VA05. Click on the Further Selection Criteria, Select the check box 'Sales Document Type' and click OK. System will ask for the Sale Document Type. ENter the inter company Document Type, Press Enter and select the date range press Enter.
    System will list the orders.
Hope it helps. Let me know whether it resolves you issue.

  • Auto increment for order numbers

I am not sure on how to approach this and if its a backend or
    frontend issue (PHP/MySQL).
Generally when you order something online the site will give
you an order number that is naturally unique from other orders. I
have the order_id field which is a primary key and auto_increments
starting at "1". Is there a way to make it start at a higher number
like 100000 or would that be a bad idea? Basically, I don't want
the user to know they are order #1.
Or would it be more wise (or even possible) to make another
field that auto_increments starting at the higher number and leave
the original order_id starting at 1? If that's the case, how would
I do that? Is it controlled by PHP or MySQL?

Those order numbers are usually segmented. For instance, some
    of it is
based on the order date, some of it on your customer ID, some
    of it serial,
or perhaps many other things, even your ZIP code or the
    dollar amount. You
could construct that number at either end once you decide how
    you want it
    done.

  • Two order numbers for preorder of Note 4

I just called Customer service to ask why I have two different order numbers for my preorder of the Note 4. First of all it would be nice if I could actually understand the women that I spoke to. You would think that would be a prerequisite for someone that had to speak to customers over the phone all day. When asking why I have a separate order number in my confirmation email to that in my Verizon order history I have no idea what her answer was because I couldn't understand her even after asking her to repeat her answer 3 times. Now on to the delivery date. What delivery date? This was an even harder answer to get. Of course she said that it would be shipped out on the 23rd or after. I preodered the device on 09/19 assuming this gives me first come first serve. What a fool I was for thinking that. I then asked if the note would be available tomorrow on the 17th. "Well you know I just cant say for sure because supplies are low". How can they be low when its not out yet? She said that I may be ableto get it faster if I preorder it from a store. ? Terrible CS! You would think that this wasnt Verizons first rodeo with the launching of a upgraded device. We'll see when I receive my Note in the mail. Oh forgot to mention that under my order history page it says on the right hand side of the page that its too late for me to return my device. Again ?.

Lol wow. No you have 14 days upon receiving phones. Enjoy that beautiful quad display

  • Process Order Numbering

    Hi Gurus,
In my case, Number range object for Process Orders has been defined in CO82.
Suddenly some process orders have different naming 14XXXXXX instead of 72XXXXXX.
I would like to know what else affects the determination of Process order numbering.

    Dear Gameen,
One process order PI01  number range is 72XXXXXX and another process order PI02 number range is coming with this no.14XXXXXX.  If you need to want PI02 also with 72XXXXXX number range then you can assign PI02 in 72XXXXXX number range.
Go to CO82, press F6 and select order type PI02 and press F2 then place the cursor on the number range 72XXXXXXX and select Element / Group. Order type Pi02 will be moved.
    Check and revert back,

  • Help needed regarding service order numbers

    Hi,
Could anyone please help me solve this, i will award good points.
    1.     The program should support a method for the user to input multiple Service Order Numbers simultaneously
    2.     The output should include the following:
    a.     All Service Order Line Item numbers and corresponding material
    b.     Corresponding Service Confirmations
    c.     Service Confirmation Line Items that have doc flow from their corresponding SO line items (and their corresponding material)
    d.     Any additional work item on the Service Order that may not have a corresponding Material on the Service Order
    3.     The output should list all Service Orders and Service Confirmations in separate columns with all related line items/material on the same row in the output
    4.     Any line item on the Service Order or Service Confirmation that does not have a document flow to the respective other document should not have any other value on the same row

  • Move Order Numbers for Sales Orders

    Hi Every one,
I got a Requirement Like Below.
After booking the Orders in Sales Orders form, we will pick release the Orders.
In our Sales Orders, we are giving the Subinventory from where the Item has to be fetched in the Ware House, while creating the Orders.
For us,While Pick releasing the Orders,We are getting multiple order numbers grouped under a single move order Header. But we require a distinct move order to be generated for each of the Sales Order.
Please Help me by suggesting how this can be accomplished.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Karthik..

    Gerry,
There is standard way as I can see it. As you should be knowing the architecture is to create the picking batch fist (which in turn becomes your move order number) and then loop through for all eligible orders to create move order lines. The way to beat this is to create a batch for each order number. You can create custom program and loop through your eligible order lines and pass order number to picking batch.
If you are on R12( may be even 11.5.10.2), you can use WSH_PICKING_BATCHES_PUB. create_batch and release_batch. Just pass your order number also to to the record. What it does basically is creating a picking_batch (move order number) for each order.
    Thanks

    Explanation
    SQL> select ename, rownum from emp;

    Example
다음의 몇 가지 방법을 이용하여 ORDERING 순으로 NUMBERING을 나타내어 보자.
    1) RECORD를 COUNT하는 방법 (DATA가 많은 경우 부적절)
    SQL> select A.ename, count(*) position
    2 from emp A, emp B
    3 where A.ename > B.ename
    4 or A.ename = B.ename and A.empno >= B.empno

만약 rownum 1을 포함하지 않는 range(예 : 'where rownum between 50 and 100')
