OS patches necessary for generated code when switching to Studio 10

Hello,
Studio 10 requires a couple of OS patches. We wonder, if this requirement also applies to the generated code?
I'm especially concerned about the SUNWlibC and Linker patches. I'd very much appreciate any help on this!

The runtime patch fixes a few small bugs in the library, but the major fix is for exception handling on the AMD64 platform. You didn't say originally what platform you were on.
I would not expect to see this kind of failure with a program built with Sun Studio 10 on Solaris 8.
This kind of failure can occur if you link any system libraries statically. All system libraries, from /usr/lib or from the compiler installation area, should be linked dynamically. (The shared libraries that ship with the compiler are freely redistributable, as documented in the "runtime.libraries" file in the <install-dir>/READMEs directory.)
First make sure that in the entire program, including all shared libraries that you use, that system libraries are linked dynamically (.so) and not statically (.a). You might have to inspect the build logs to be sure.
If static system libraries are not the problem, get the current C++ compiler patch from the Sun Studio patch page

and see if that helps. If not, and if you have a service contract, your Sun service representative can get you a pre-release version of the C++ runtime library patch 119963-01 for you to try.

How to retain the java applet generated code when back button is pressed!!

I've a jsp page in which i've wirtten the code which specifies the word which i write in the text box, then through the applet i'm showing the word which is written in the text box. It means my applet is running and it show the words which i've written in the text box. Now when i click on submit it goes to the next page and when i click on browser's back button then except the applet generated code everyone retains its values. Is there any way to find it out when it encounter the back button click then applet should be restarted. so in this way without writing the whole application form and in the applet generated code i can submit it again.
My question is how do i reatin the applet generated code when a click button is being pressed (b'coz for the textbox, textareas everything retains it)
any suggestions or guidance are most welcome.

you don't need to navigate explicitly. Just clear the back stack till your specific page and say goback. below is the code you can use.

HT4007 Migrated Aperture 3 from old Mac to new Mac - it will not Register correctly, and asks for product codes when started

I've migrated software from my old Macbook Pro to my New Macbook Pro Retina and the process went ok, except for Aperture 3, It asks for the product codes when started, after 5 starts it asks for Registration details, which I've completed, but on the next start it asks for the product codes again - it is still working correctly on the orginal machine, and shows it is Licensed to me etc - but on the new Mac there is no License information - I should be able to run the software on both machines - anyone any ideas - I've got the original Aperture 2/3 discs so I can install from scratch, but that seems to defeat the whole process of Migration Assitant -

How to generate code in Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8

Do I miss something? I can�t find how to generate code from UML model, which is not reversed from code. Documentation also does not speak about this.
Code update works fine if project is reversed from code, but if in such reversed model I create new class it does not appear in code and context action "Generate Code" is missing for such class.

Thank you for replay, may steps are same:
1. I have created Java Project With Existing Source
2. selected directory with code (not whole project but directory with java classes)
3. After that I have created UML Java Specific project and
4. Associated UML project with previous created java project
5. I have selected "Code Generation" check box
6. Classes from java project were reversed into UML model.
7. After that I have created new class in java project.
And there is no Generate code action in this class context menu, also this class do not appeared in code automatically.
From UML project properties it is shown that UML project is associated with proper java project)
Same is with Java Application project associated with UML java project.
Documentation do not talks more about this. Only same steps. It looks like code generation should be working but it isn't. I'm I only one who face this problem, or do smth wrong?

Prompted for License code when install Acrobat wit CCP

We have got Creative Cloud for teams and use CCP to make packages to distribute this software on our PC's. When I install only Adobe Acrobat this way, I am prompted for a license code or 30-day trial when I try to start the application. However, when I install Photoshop on the same machine, then start Photoshop and log on to Creative Cloud, I can use both products without any problem. How is this possible? I would very much like to install only Acrobat and no other Adobe products on some of our PC's to reduce the footprint.

I am assuming that you are running the AcroPro.msi within the AcrobatProfessional folder from the Exceptions folder. Please use the Exception Deployer to install Acrobat XI pro and then it wont ask you to provide any serial no. Once the installation completes then use your Adobe ID to activate the same.

CS6 freezes for 30 seconds when switching to any Brush tool.

After about 10 minutes of working with CS6, switching to any tool that utilizes a brush, such as Clone, Brush, Eraser, History Brush, etc. causes the program to freeze. All other applications are OK.
I assumed I had too many brush presets loaded, so I deleted all but three simple brushes. Same problem keeps occurring.
I think the program has crashed whenever this happens, but it eventually wakes up again.
I remember this happening with an older version of Photoshop (on another computer), but it was fixed with an update.
Is this a known problem? This halts my productivity, as I have to go get a snack whenever I want to use a brush tool.
I'm running out of snacks.
Please advise!
Running Mac OSX 10.6.8

I have found something similar. It seems when I apply a mask and invert it then go to paint on the mask with a brush it will freeze like you say for 30 seconds or so. It seems it's more likely to occur if I do the mask, invert and start to paint in rapid succession.

When adding an image to a page in Dreamweaver, you first select the image from the chose file dialog, then the code comes out like this:
However, I'm going to be implimenting a lot of Facebook to a certain site and they require rel="image_src" in the image tag. Is there a way in Dreamweaver where I can change the default generated code when inserting an image to include this? The idea of adding this every single time I add an image to a page (and there are a lot of them) makes me cringe.

If you want it for every single image that you insert, you can edit Image.js in the Dreamweaver Configuration folder. On Windows 7, it's located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5\configuration\Objects\Common. On Mac OS X, it will be in a similar location in the Applications folder.
Locate the following lines (45-49 in Dreamweaver CS5):

Values of return code when using dba_audit_session

Is there anywhere I can look up the possible values for return code when using dba_audit_session?
I am generating a report over the data and have so far only been able to provide the returncode and whether the username exists (ie username or "other" error)

Return code: 1017 wrong username or password
Return code: 28000 locked account

Modifying Form Generator code groups

Does anyone know if it is possible to override the code that the forms generator uses for generated code groups (eg CGCD$QRY_SERVER_VER) at one single place instead of overriding the event code segments for every Forms Module in the Design Editor.

I'm not sure what you mean bij 'form generator code groups'. Do you perhaps mean the logic definitions that appear when you add an event to a form? (Module definition -> application logic -> events -> create event)

In Purchase Order Line item Maintaining Serial Numbers for Material Codes

Dear Gurus,
We have a business process in legacy system for Purchase Order like in PO line item, Material code with description, Quantity, unit of Measurement, Serial Number Start and Serial Number End is maintained, for example for Material code when we enter the data AXMLN00001 in Serial Number Start column, if the Qty 500 is maintained, by default system will calculate AXMLN00500 in Serial Number End column.
We understand that in standard SAP we donu2019t have this option of maintaining Serial Number Start and End in Purchase order Line item. Please let us know how this can be mapped and is it advisable to create two Z fields in EKPO table or else can we make any development.
Suppose if this is not possible in SAP for PO then in Banks if we want to place a order for Cheque books how we can maintain Start and End Serial Numbers to print in cheque books.
Also client is not agreeing to maintain manually Serial numbers in item text.

When the PO Item was created say for example Material had Valuation category "Y" and latter you wanted to change the category to "Y". Now system would have check for all open PO's etc...based on this you must have set Deletion Indicator to this Line Item to allow valuation category change in material master. Now when this Item got created in the table level (EKPO), system updates the valuation category "Y". Currently this valuation category is not active so it would not allow you to perform removal of deletion indicator as program cannot automatically nor you have an option to manually update the valuation category to this Item.

Hi,
to do a lookup you may either use the Key Lookup Operator (it makes it easier to define default return values if the lookup fails) or a Joiner (to probably outer join your lookup table).
If you have many lookups you can do them in one joiner instead of having a key lookup operator for every one of them to reduce the total number of operators in your mapping.

Anybody experienced loss of data when switching service providers?

I recently transferred my two IMAP accounts to a new hosting service, but since I used the same names for the new accounts in Mail, all the mailboxes under the previous accounts, with hundreds of messages dating back to over two years, were deleted or overwritten!
Luckily, because they were IMAP I can still access them through webmail, but users should be warned that re-using the same name for mail accounts when switching causes loss of data, and as far as I know there is no warning during the creation of the new accounts that existing mailboxes will be overwritten.

Nothing has been over-written (the messages live on the server): it's simply that you've changed the settings for the accounts to the new provider, so of course Mail is displaying the messages there, not the originals. Just set up the original accounts again with the appropriate server settings and username/password - you can give them new names in Mail to distinguish them from the new ones (you can call a mail account anything you like for display purposes).
