OT: Maximum upload filesize

Can I change this? It appears (with PHP) that the largest
file I can upload
is one that takes 30seconds or less, since I timeout at that
point.
My client may want to upload 50MB files, and I'm hoping for a
way to ease
this process....

Yeah - that makes sense. I'm sure I do not have control over

  • Maximum upload speed of 2700HGV?

Hi. I'm using the 2wire BT2700HGV router on my Infinity connection, which should be about 66mbps download and 20mbps upload, according to the BT website when I ordered the connection.
When I've got nothing but a single ethernet wire connecting me, and wifi switched off, the maximum speeds I get are about 75mbps download and about 10mbps upload.
I've tried swapping the 2700HGV out for a Home Hub 3, and the speeds I get are up to about 75mbps download and 16mbps upload.
The problem is, I need to use the 2700HGV, or a better alternative, as I need to use BT Broadband Voice through it. The Home Hub 3 just doesn't have a phone port, so it's simply not an option.
I was wondering, what is the maximum upload speed the 2700HGV can actually achieve? Is it the router model that's the limitation, or just that I need to tweak it to get the desired upload speed?

  • Maximum upload of 100MB/s on Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

I recently got a new Macbook Pro and also switched internet providers to get a 500/500 fiber optics connection.
When I connect via wifi I reach speeds like 350 MB/s down and 250 MB/s up.
When I do the same test via the thunderbolt cable I get 498 MB/s down and 100 MB/s up.
Every time I do this, the upload speed is always 'capped' at 100 MB/s. (And download always peaks near the 500 limit)
    Variables:
    Testing is done via speedtest.net.
Wifi is connected to Airport Time Capsule.
Time Capsule is connected directly to the Gigabit router.
When testing with the ethernet adapter I also test directly into the router.
Any ideas why this is happening?

I read that the ethernet cable could be the culprit.
I did a full range of tests with different brands, shielded/non-shielded and all the different categories I had in a closet, all had the same results.
Full 500MB/s bandwith during download, maximum of 100 MB/s during upload.

  • UCCE Outbound Options: Maximum uploaded number?

Hi, I want to know how many numbers I can upload on a table on BA database for a campaign for UCCE 7.2?
I uploaded there 1 million numbers first but it was not dialing out, then now i'm uploading the numbers with smaller chunks like 20,000 first, 40,000 second and increase the numbers periodically to check the threshold. Can anyone advice me regarding this?
    Regards,

    Mike,
Are you certain that you're trying to increase the value of the correct field? When you go into your Import Rule > Definition tab > highlight the FirstName field name and click Modify... What you should see for Field length is 1-255. You can easily increase the number of character to over 10.

  • Problem when trying to rename uploaded images using session value

    Hi,
I have a form where 9 images are uploaded made into thumb nail size and then stored in a file. What I´m trying to do is rename those thumbnails from their original name to username_0, username_1, username_2 etc for each of the 9 thumbs. The username comes from the registration form on the same page. I have created a session variable for the username and am trying to use that to change to name of the image name, whilst my images are uploading and resizing the name stays as the original and not as the new username_$number. I have pasted relevant code below and would very much appreciate any help with this:
    <?php session_start();
// check that form has been submitted and that name is not empty and has no errors

    Use double quotes here:

    Change it to this:
    $newname = str_replace ('name', "$username_$number", $name);

  • ICloud Drive causing timeouts and disconnects when uploading

It seems that iCloud Drive is set to use the maximum upload bandwidth possible when adding files to it.  I have a home internet connection with fairly limited upload bandwidth (1Mbps - Time Warner Cable apparently doesn't think there is any need for more than that). When I add files to iCloud Drive and they begin to upload, everything else I am doing online quickly times out and eventually disconnects.  As far as I can tell, there isn't any manual control for how much upload bandwidth iCloud Drive can use.  Dropbox and other cloud services have such a setting but it seems that Apple has left this out of their offering.  Has anyone else experienced this?
It is probably also worth noting that this is the same thing that happens to me when I upload to iTunes Match.  It seems that Apple needs to better handle users with limited bandwidth.

  • IView Deployment - how to set maximum file size?

    Hello,
we have a problem while deploying iViews and uploading files to enterprise portal . The maximum upload file size seems to be limited to 1 MB. I have to deploy an iView greater than 1 MB. While deploying with netweaver developer studio I get following error message
    in logfile of developer studio:

    java.io.IOException: Error writing to server
The direct upload of *.par with EP Component Manager also does not work. After clicking upload-button I get a standard http error page "aktion abgebrochen".
Also on upload of any other document, for example personal documents which are bigger than 1 MB, I get this error.
If I reduce file size of portal archiv lower than 1MB I can deploy and upload the iView.
How canI set maximum upload file size in Enterprise Portal?
    Our Version: 6.0.2.4.7.Enterprise_Portal_Service_Pack_2
    Thanks for helping me,

You need to use a precision argument:
    String foo = "a long name to print";
    System.out.printf("foo say: %.8s", foo); // 8 maxhttp://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/util/Formatter.html#syntax

  • Issue while uploading large size file to sharepoint

How to upload 2GB into sharepoint 2010 document library using client object model. Upto 150MB its working well. While uploading more than 150MB i faced this error-- system.outofmemory exception was thrown

    Hi lililil,
According to your description, my understanding is that you can't upload file which is larger than 150MB in your environment.
To fix this issue, you need to set the Maximum Upload Size in Central Administration->Application Management->Manage Web Applications->General Settings.
More information about set Maximum Upload Size:
    http://www.anmolrehan-sharepointconsultant.com/2012/01/sharepoint-2010-document-library-upload.html
Also, you need to set maxAllowedContentLength in IIS web.config file:

  • HTTP Upload Limit

Do you know the maximum upload size in a HTTP transfer using mozilla?.

Great to hear you've experienced success with uploading larger files.
Appcmd.exe is a command line tool to manage IIS. For full disclosure, you could also use the WebAdministration module in PowerShell to manage IIS.
    Appcmd.exe: http://www.iis.net/learn/get-started/getting-started-with-iis/getting-started-with-appcmdexe
    WebAdministration PowerShell cmdlets: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee790599.aspx
To answer your question - you want to use the command line (AppCMD.exe) or PowerShell. This is recommended by Microsoft and unless you are an IIS expert, I would not recommend modifying IIS configuration files manually. This particular command edits the
applicationhost.config file - it is found by default at c:\windows\system32\inetsvr\config\applicationhost.config. This is the master configuration file for IIS (in IIS 7 and later). The command adds the desired
maxAllowedContentLength within the system.webServer/security/requestFiltering section. On your development image, open this file and navigate to this section to see what the command specifically added - its pretty easy to determine the xml you
could manually add - again, I don't recommend doing it manually. One wrong keystroke when modifying that file can equal a really bad day and can mess up IIS. I do encourage folks to learn and understand what goes on behind the scenes (i.e. understanding
the actions of the perceived 'black box' that is command line tools), but it really isn't worth playing around with this file without the command line tool or PowerShell. To be safe, before playing around manually take a backup of this file.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.

  • Verizon DSL Tech Support and Slow Upload speed

We have been having considerable issues for 16 months with Verizon DSL and numerous chat sessions/calls to Verizon tech support. They verified that the upload speed was 768Kbps. Every site showed 360 - 370 Kbps.
Finally a technician came to the house and confirmed that the maximum upload speed at that location was 384. How could tech support be lying the whole time? Many times I point blank said 'why is the modem set to 448?'. They said the PCs would be faster than that. When the VZ techs come in through our PCs with Citrix remote support, they are dumbfounded that that they only got 27 Kbps - they ALWAYS forgot to realize the Citrix session is taking some the upload bandwidth to see my video - DUH
The worst part is the billing. We have been paying for something that is impossible to get. They are only willing to backdate a refund for 3 months because we never raised a billing issue. Um, thats because you lied about the speed.

Visit http://192.168.1.1/ and tell me what you see mentioned as both the download and upload speed that the modem reports it being connected at.

  • Uploading large mysql database to a remote server

    Hi,
This is about uploading a .sql database that is beyond the

The 2MB limit isn't actually imposed by phpMyAdmin, but by
    the maximum
size PHP permits for file uploads. If you have control over
    the server,
you can change the maximum upload size temporarily. Other
    alternatives
are to upload the database table by table, or to do what
    Gareth suggests.

  • Fails to upload song and starts back at Step 1

I just added two songs to iTunes. They are long songs (60 minutes long) and are about 150 MB each. (The iTunes Match limit per song is 200 MB.) I added them to iTunes, and when Match tried to upload them (because it couldn't find a match) it uploaded the first one for about 10 seconds, then failed and started back at Step 1.
I assume the problem is the song's size; I also heard that iTunes Match, when uploading, tends to "choke" on its own upload and subsequently fail.
Is there anything I can do to fix this, so that I can add these two songs to my iTunes library?

I spent the past few days battling this exact problem and believe I have fixed it.
I believe this actually is an ISP related issue (even if that sounds like BS at first). I do not have these problems when I use the internet at work, or use my personal hotspot on my phone, but I do have them on my home internet (Comcast).
I believe that when iTunes Match begins uploading, it maxes out the uplink bandwidth of the Comcast connection, renders it useless and causes the connection to time out. iTunes Match thinks the connection died, and it stops, then restarts.
The way I fixed it was limiting my maximum upload bandwidth via my router. My router (Netgeard WNDR3700) has a setting that allows me to set up maximum uplink bandwidth. Speedtest.net told me my connection had 4-5mbps up, so I limited it via my router to 2mbps.
As soon as I did this, my uploads began working without timing out and restarting.

  • AirDisk speed (max-upload:3MB/s, max-download:5.7MB/s)

I have setup my AEBS with external USB disk (WD Essential, 512GB). The installation and setup were very easy and I have no problems with connections from either Windows XP or OSX. And so far (I have it about a week now), everything works flawlessly and I have port mapping (NAT) set up for two different machines...
But, the download/upload speeds from/to USB drive seem low to me:
    - Maximum upload speed to the external USB drive: 3MB/s (usually around 2.5MB/s)
    - Maximum download speed from the external USB drive: 5.7MB/s
Did any of you guys achieve a greater speed, or is this normal?
PS: I have my AEBS setup for connection of both types (g and n)

Ok, some guy reported very nice speeds with AEBS:

Not sure what everyone else is doing, but I'm getting 16MB/sec copying files off my Airport Extreme. Now, copying files TO the Airport Extreme is a different story, I have not gotten anything faster than 6MB/sec, with 3.5MB/sec being the average.
This is off a 750GB disk connected through a USB hub and my computer connected via Gigabit Ethernet. Wireless downstream speeds were about 7-9MB/sec, still a lot faster than others have reported.
I wonder what I'm doing different to have such good luck...
