Output 'BA00' - Default Printer

Hi, can anyone advise how i can default output device from own data in the user profile instead of the output device assigned to the output condition type 'BA00'?  Since different users will be using different printers.
Thanks
Peter

Hi,
I had faced the similar issue and I resolved it by adding new acces to the  conditon type , create a new access with the combination of existing fields and the user name(VBRK-ERNAM) then u can maintain the condition record as per your user requirement, and note one thing ERNAM is not available in the field catalog you need to append the field to the structure for this take abaper help.
Any quiries revrt back to me.

  • Output type - default printer

    Hi All,
I have created an output type and condition records and set the default label printer as "LOCAL" which is assigned to a ZXXX
    label printer.
But when delivery document is created the system is not defaulting to LOCAL as the default..I dont know if I need to add
    something else.
    Please help.
    Meghna.

    Hi Meghna,
You have to also set your default output device in your User Profile -> Own data.
On any SAP screen, Goto -> System -> User Profile -> Own Data -> Here go to Defaults tab and set your Output device  as 'LOCL' in the Spool Control sub screen. You can also set other parameters like Print Immediately and delete the spool once Outputted.
    Hope this helps...

  • Mass printing of order confirmation - output BA00

Hi, can anyone advise if there's a std transaction code that can perform mass printing of order confirmation from SO with output 'BA00'?
    Thanks
    PP

    Hi there,
I dont think there isany T-code for mass printing multiple O/p types.
Rather you can run RSNAST00 in SE38. Give the BA00 in Message type, sales order num in Obj Key. Give the default printer to which you want to print the docs.
Rather, you can ask your ABAPer to develop a custom transaction calling the RSNAST00 when executed. You can also define the selection inpits like sals orders, message type, Sales org, printer, etc.
Once the user clicks on execute, system will call RSNAST00 in the background.
1 question: Whay do you want to mas print the BA00? It wil trigger immediately after saving the sales order provided condition records are maintained right?
    Regards,
    Sivanand.

when I open up an e-mail attachment a box pops up PRINT TO FILE below that line OUTPUT FILE NAME with an empty line for the file name vs. simply going to my default printer?

Make sure that '''''Print to File''''' isn't selected in the native print dialog box ''(see screenshot below)'' middle-right, and make sure your Printer is selected at the top of that dialog box.

  • Default Print Options when issuing output

    Dear Experts:
I came across a issue regarding print options when issuing output from the billing document.
my first question is, this default print options seems to be coming from my output record as for print immediately option. where does Recipient come from?
my second question is, is it possible that I make the "print immediately"  option default by user own settings in SU3?
    Thanks in advance.

The recipient normally is the person which is logged in, during the NAST-Entry is saved.
I know, there are several options available in the customizing, but I'm really not sure, so perhaps you can work through the official help located here:
Output Determination (SD-BF-OC) - SAP Library
The "print immediately"  option cannot be set to the user-parameters via customizing. I think you have to use a userexit in the messaging to put some lines in there to make this work, but also please work through the official documentation.
If you doesn't find a solution, I think this space match better for such a question:
    SAP ERP SD Sales
Here in Output Management is more the developing view located, sry.

  • How to automatic print to default printer

    now i use this command
    web.show_document('http://servername:7778/reports/rwservlet?server='||
    'repserver&report='||Para_Repname||'&desformat=pdf&destype=cache&userid='||
    Get_Application_Property(USERNAME)||'/'||Get_Application_Property(PASSWORD)||'@'||Get_Application_Property(CONNECT_STRING)||
    v_parameter||'&paramform=no','_blank');
it 's show pdf file in browser if i want to print i must click printer icon on browser, but i want it to automatic print to printer immediate
    someone has solution.

Because the reports run on the server and not on the client machine, there really is no way to print to the client's default printer because the server has no way of knowing what this printer is.
You could create a user parameter with a list of the printers that are normally used and have the users select which printer you wanted the output sent to.

    Hi
Try checking NACE transaction, for your output type the default printer assigned (in communication method). And also check defaults tab in user record in SU01 tcode.
    Thanks

  • Default printer in purchase order

    Hi Experts,
I have defined one default printer in the message output condition (MN04). When i create purchase order and go to the message type, i can see this default printer there.
But in case i am creating new message in the purchase order, default printer is not appearing. Even i tried to assign default printer in user profile (SU3), but still in communication method, there is not any printer appearing while creating new message manually.
    Regards,
    Kamal

    hi
as u can define the outputs in MN04 from here the printer will be defaulted for that message type
but when u add new message type in PO then u have to define the printer manually ,it will not poopup directly
so either create output manually or just repeate it by clicking repeate output button
or consult ur BASIS person if they have some settings
    regards

  • Red Light in Output Message for Print

    Hello.
When I create an Output Message to Print a Purchase Order, a red light appears in the status column.
Then when a I click over, the system said " No Analysis Log exist".
Does anyone know what turns this on?
    I appreciate your help.
    Hector.

    Hi,
    Check following options:
Option:1-->Are you using two output type of Purchase order Print( one is default output type & one you are entering manually).
Check your entry of print operation ( 1 or 2) for your PO output type manually in following path:
SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Message>Output control>Message type> Define message type for Purchase Order-->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Option:2-->Have look on dispatch time ( 1 or 2 or 3 or 4) set for output type in NACE t.code
Option:3--> In NACE t.code for output type, check CannotBeChanged check box selected or not in default tab.

  • Print smarform to a non-default printer?

I am writing a print program to manually print a smartform.
Which means, no SAP output message is involved.  No entry created in the table NAST.
I assigned the printer short name to the output_options-tddest.  It only prints if the printer is same as the user default printer in the user profile.
Any one has experience on how to print a smartform to a non-default printer?
    Thanks a lot.

Do not worry about this question.  The cause is that I misspelled the export parameter.
    Sorry.

  • Problem while sending output to a printer

    Hi,
I am trying to send an output to a remote printer (on the same LAN)
I have the remote printer configured on my machine, and while adding a new printer in Central's printer database, I am specifying the IP address of the printer in the physical device section. (i.e. \\192.168.*.*)
In my job file, I tried giving options: -z"Printer Name", -z"Printer ID" and even removed -z option to achieve the default printing specified on my job, which is a print to the remote printer.
But the printing is not taking place.
Can sombody please guide me with regards to what is the correct approach in sending print to a remote printer (I am aware of the printer IP and port). What exact options do I need to specify in printer/job database and in the job file?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Aalap

The -z option would normally refer to the "logical printer" name that is within the Job Management Database, Printers definition section (-zAcctPrt). Whether the actual print queue is defined on the server where Central is running or on another server the format for this entry is the same:
    b \\ServerName\QueName
Then the Windows printer setup would be using the TCP/IP port for the printer. I don't have the exact instructions in front of me but setting up a print queue for Central is something like:
    Select "local printer"
    Select "create a new port"
    Select "Standard TCP/IP Port"
Type in the IP # for the printer & change port name as desired
Device Type of "Standard" and "Generic Network Card" should work
For printer driver, Select Generic manufacturer & Generic/Text Only for the printer type (this works when using Print Agent targets because all printer control information is embedded within the print file.
Give it a name of your choice.
Print a test page to see if it works.
In the above example of a logical printer definiation, the name given the new print queue would be used.

    Hello Gurus,
The issue is related to Picking List(EK00 condition type). Could you please provide me the path or Tcode for assigning the Default Printer to the Shipping Point.

    Hello Friends,
I found the path and we can do the configuration..
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Shipping - Basic Shipping functions - output control - Define Print Parameters Shipping - Execute
Select Condition type from the list under Shipping and the details can be maintained there.
