Palm TX won't hot sync via wifi, but will surf the internet via wifi

My Palm TX will hotsync with Windows XP via USB only. I cannot get a wifi hotsync. I can get on my wireless home network and surf the net, but I cannot hotsync to my computer through my wireless home network.
I've tried everything I can think of. I cannot find my computer on my TX during a Hotsync search with the Firewall on, or off. I've hard reset my TX, I've hard reset and wiped my TX. I've entered my Computer name into the TX manually and I've entered the IP address of my computer. Nothing..... It does a USB sync just fine. I've checked to make sure TCP/IP connection was turned on in the Palm Desktop software . . . it just won't sync via wifi.
Using:
Windows XP home
Palm Desktop 6.2
Palm TX: with original OS and original Hotsync
...help?

Ditto that, though until about a week ago I could sync my TX via Wi-Fi without problems. Now it doesn't get past the initial screen, then the error that I should check my connections, etc. I want this back so I'm gonna work on it.

Our IPod connects to the WIFI, but not to the internet. We have a wireless router which we connect our MACBOOK to the internet and our IPod. The MACBOOK works fine, but not the IPod. It shows to be connected to WIFI, but whenever we try to connect to an internet site i.e. Sarfari, we get an message "Safari cannot open the page becuase it is not connected to the internet". We have tried rebooting, but it has not helped.

Try:
- Resetting the iPod. Nothing will be lost.

Apple says "Connections through proxy servers are not supported". Would that be Shaw? How can I update the ATV

I'm really frustated with Nokia 603 wifi.It doesnt activate the internet whilst my other mobile have no problem or issue connecting and activating to the wifi.From what I read mostly the wifi issue here.Can someone out there assist me with this problem?I called the Nokia tech support team but they themselves is a failure to trouble shoot this problem.I have thought of not supporting Nokia anymore.This problem has been month without solution.Now I'm using my othe brand mobile to use wifi connection.

Is your AirPort Express Base Station (AX) a 802.11n model? If it is, you can reconfigure it as a wireless Ethernet bridge or ProxySTA. This would allow the AX to join another wireless network and have its Ethernet port enabled for wired clients, like the Xbox 360.
To activate ProxySTA, you must set up the Express to join a wireless network and then enable the Allow Ethernet Clients setting; both settings are located in the Wireless tab of AirPort Utility.

Yes, but you'd first need to know the GPS coordinates. You'd need a court order to get the carrier to release this info(extremely difficult to obtain), then you'd need the police involved to witness & verify the software being used to locate the phone by its Mac address(again difficult to do). I know a lot has been said about this and many different solutions have been given but none of them work for me so please bear with me.
I can use my iPhone 4 with iOS5 to connect to my win7 laptop through wifi but I can't connect to the internet on the iPhone. However, I can use my laptop to tap on my iPhone's 3G and surf. Does anyone know why is this the case?
I checked the IP address and DNS and Router and they are all fine. They tally and they are not 169. I even reset my network settings twice and still no go.
The apps on the iPhone that require wifi connection work fine too. I just cannot get the iPhone to connect to the internet when I'm on my laptop's wifi.

My iPad connects to my Wifi, but wont load the internet

My iPad connects to all other wifi connections, but not my orange broadband one at home.
In the network settings it only shows the IP address and subnet mask. It seems like it should have a router information and DNS settings, maybe even search domains too. But I cant add router settings and no idea what to put in the others!
Have also tried reseting network settings, upgrading to iOS 5, rebooting my ipad and restarting it (holding down sleep and home button).
Anyone know how to solve this problem? Maybe I need to ask orange about it? Thanks

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

Iphone connects to secured wifi network but cant surf the internet

I am trying to connect to the wifi at the office, it's a 64 bit WEP secured network (I enter a 10 character hex key). The Iphone connects to the network and is assigned a valid IP address. But when I try www.google.com or 64.233.167.99 for example, it fails with 'Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding'.
It all works fine at home on my non secured wifi network.

Are you 100% sure the WiFi at your work has access to get out...and also, I assume they know you are getting on it. Not sure what type of office you are at (eg: large business with network support/admin or at a small office where you or somebody right there set it up).
But if large office with network admin...could be they locked it down with MacAddresses as well.

Safari won't open on main user but will on the guest profile. How do I fix this? Or what can I do to stop this issue?

I just recently had Apple install a new hard drive on my MacBook. It was working fine till a few days ago. Now when I access my profile and try to open safari it will open and load then suddenly close. I keep trying to reopen it but it continues to close. When I access the guest user I can open safari and surf the web with no problem. I need help as to fix this problem. Thank you.

Open DiskUtility and repair disk permission could solve the problem.

Surfing the internet via Bluetooth

Hi guys, I just got my Macbook and a new Blackberry 8800. When I paired the devices it said that I could set my macbook up to use the internet from my blackberry's data connection. Sounds great for when i'm on the road but I've tried using it and I just can't get it to work. I got all the info I needed from Cingular but the macbook is asking me which modem to use and it has this huge list of modems. Last time I checked the Macbook doesn't come with a modem unless I didn't see it or something. Can anyone help me get my computer to work with my phones data connection? I would greatly appreciate it!!!

When you paired them up, did you check the access internet with your phone' data connection?
Because if you do so, it will open another windows that you have to fill out username, password, phone number, and modem script option (using dial a specific access number for your isp)
or username, password, GPRS CID string, and modem script option (if using direct, high speed internet (GPRS, 1 x rtt).
And modem option should be selected automatically.
Contact you internet provider for more information as well.

My iphone 5 won't call when i fail to connect to the internet via 3g.
At work i dont have wifi i have 3g, if i launch say the sky go app,or the iplayer, sometimes they work and everything is fine...sometimes they wont load as 3g for whatever reason cant get a connection at that particular time........ if i then try and make a call the call will fail. I've experimented 25 + times and this is definately the cause.
(note: when the 3g connection does work, the phone has absolutely no problem calling people)
Anyone had this problem?
Even better has anyone got a solution?

Are you sure that the carrier's signal is strong where you are having this problem? Certain building structures and locations have poor cellular signal strength and this often results in the "No Service" indication. Are other users able to get service in the same locations where you have problems?

What is the specific message displayed as it fails, and what does your HotSync log say about the failed event? Also, who is your wireless carrier and did they provide this particular device to you?
