Passport 25% off accessories email not worth anything to me!
Absolutely loving the Passport after one week of ownership. I'm a loyal BB user for years... my 5th now.. 9000, 9700, 9900, Q10, and now a Passport.
Thanks Blackberry for the kind welcome to Blackberry emails and the seemingly wonderful offer of 25% off "ALL" Passport accessories, but when I tried to purchase the Passport sync pod and leather swivel holster... Surprise! Those aren't included in the offer... Only 8 or 9 Passport accessories are part of this promotion. Wait, the email said ALL Passport accessories.... Oh right.... fine print... it states that there are restrictions, sheesh! If there are restrictions, please don't use the word ALL, that's false or at the least, misleading advertising!
And as nice as the leather swivel holster is... it's $169.99 here in Canada... OMG!
Nice to offer the discount and email me the offer, but so not cool with the choice of language in the email. The only way to make me happy now is to offer the 25% off on two accessories (also in the fine print - limit of two accessories per customer)... any and all Passport accessories, as advertised.

Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release and wait for it to restart.

Looks like you have relocked a hacked phone when you updated. The only way to fix it would be if you could figure out the original carrier and see if they would unlock it.

HELP my iphone 4 will not do anything I can't get it to turn on!!!
It is usually given as a communication error between Apple, iTunes (your computer), iPhone. Somewhere they are not communicating, so the iOS you are trying to install cannot be approved by Apple. Trouble shooting steps include, making sure you have Current iTunes installed, make sure your Hosts file of computer is not blocking Apple. Try restoring on another computer.

I've tried charging it overnight and it still will not turn on, when connected to the charger the apple sign just goes on and off but does not do anything, i've tried resetting it and this also does not work, but then once taken off the charger it doesn't even say the sign for charging it just does nothing
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

My ringer is no longer working for text and email notifications. Only working for phone calls. I have gone through all the settings to see where something is off. Not finding anything. I have tried changing the tone and it just vibrates on everything.
Ok so I happened to figure it out while on the phone to apple support. Even though the guy was very nice, I think I knew more than him! He was explaining very basic resolution principles I played about. I had the second option in displays resolution. All I did was unplug the HDMI cable, click on 'best for display' then plugged the HDMI in and my resolution on the normal monitor changed to the normal blue, then went black momentarily and then changed to a strange resolution but another window appeared that said SONY BRAVIA HDMI at the top! Hey presto! Don't know why it didn't do it yesterday - I probably left the HDMI cable in or something! Oh well. Problem solved!

ipad keeps requesting outlook password, trying cancel but still in cycle - can not do anything else. NOTE - recently change email password on PC
Try a reboot:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. Once you do that, go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and make sure the correct, new password is entered in that account. -
I heard about the iPod Nano recall over fire risk, I entered my info online and it said that I was eligible, but since early December I have not heard anything more from itunes/apple. In which time someone I know has sent off theirs and received their replacement nano already. Is there an email address I can email to request info? Would be much appreciated! Thank-you.

I have tried a lot to find an app or some way in email to attach multiple of pdf files in one email. I could not find anything that sends multiple pdf file in one email and still keeping the file in simple pdf format for the recipient.
I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

I received an email this am telling me I was charged for a purchase I made of .99 this am. I did not purchase anything. I contacted PayPay and was informed it was for a recurring monthly .99 fee..I don't know what that is and don't want it. What is it? PayPal cancelled any further payments for this. I was informed I needed to request refund from ITunes. I did that. Why was I charged a .99 recurring fee? I purchased, or thought I did, an app called "Appzilla2" on Jan 10 for .99 cents. Does this mean I must pay .99/monthly to use it? If so, please cancel the appzilla.
We are itunes users just like you. We cannot cancel anything.
Look at your purchase history and see what the charge is for. Contact itunes support if need be. -

I tried to use the pop account in gmail settings but that was downloading all my emails sice 2008 ( more than 300 deleted emails tha can only be found in the deleted email box), when I just have 5 or 6 email in the inbox .

Thank u all...I have the same problem. For years I have been able to delete emails from my ipad and have them remain on the server so I can deal with them on the desktop. Now they get deleted from the server when deleted from the ipad, which makes the ipad unless for reading mail.
You answered to delete the email account on the ipad and set up a new one as a pop. I have made many attempts to do that in the incomping mail server "Host Name" field but it always errors out even when the host name is equal to what my desk top has. So I can see no way to change away from IMAP. I started with an ipad 1 and now have an ipad 2.

I just created an iCloud email and I want to use that email for my iTunes account as well. I need help switching the old apple ID because I do not remember anything associated with that email and I don't know the security questions or the login for that old email.
You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)? -
I accidently disconnected to cord in the middle of updating software on my iphone4. it now has apple logo and blank loading line below. it will not do anything else. can't even switch off please help
Connect the iPhone to the compter you usually sync with
and use iTunes on that computer to do the restore. -

This is probably a stupid question, but what does the red circle with a number in it mean on iCal? It looks just like the emails notification. I do not have anything do or up in my cal.
Actually, another person on the "more like this" had the right answer. It meant I had a notification for an invite that I needed to respond to.
