Payment Needed

I have the above message on the screen which I manage my team, even immediately re-entering my credit card information.  Payment seems to be needed for a particular team member.  When I try to remove that name, I get this message:
We're sorry. Something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later. If this continues to fail, please contact customer support.
Any suggestions besides chatting with Adobe customer service?  Thanks!

Since you are the program admin, I understand that you have logged in to Admin console & tried to make the changes, It will be best to contact Customer Support for this.

Hi, does anyone have AR aging report list NET BALANCE for each invoice for AR Aging report?  I tried FBL5N which did not apply partial payment to each invoice, customer would not want to see this kind of report and we did in Excel for all open invoices which just waste time only.

  • Partial Payment- need clarification on 2 scenarios

    Hello SAP Gurus',
I need some help.  If I check the Partial Payment in the Control Parameters node in Bank transactions, what does it mean?  I thought it meant that if a payment came in and referenced that invoice, it would clear that invoice leaving residual on account where applicable.
Through Lockbox postprocessing via FLB2, if the user decides to use the partial payment tab and leaves a difference there, it would leave the invoice open and a new line item would be created in open items indicating and overpayment or shortage.  Is this correct.
    Many thanks!
    POINTS GUARANTEED

    Thanks Murali-
Same true through Lockbox postprocessing?  If the user selects Partial Payment tab, the invoice will remain open, if the user selects the residual tab, the invoice will clear?
Also, I have another problem that noone has helped me with.  Can you answer this one too?  I have a problem. When using FLB1, if I have an item that does not belong in the subledger but needs to be booked to a general ledger, I double click on the unprocessed item, change the account type from D for customers to S for general ledger and input my g/l in the account field, I get an error message that says:
Payment advice 010013149700014 does not exist for account * 1134.
What does this mean? I am currently testing and although I am able to assign a customer to this payment advice, it doesn't work for g/l. Any thoughts?

  • Unauthorized frequent payments need to stop asap

    Hi Skype team.
It seems impossible to get in contact with any living person so as a result I'm posting in here where it looks as though many people are struggling with the same issue as me. I have been charged every three months for something that I HAVE NOT authorized. All though I purchased ONE three month package I did not sign on to paying for it every three months. I have not used it in this time and have spent almost 100$. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. I cannot find anywhere to cancel this payment but yet I still get charged for it. I would like to know how I can stop this payment and I would like to be riembursed for the money I've lost. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I purchased a three month subscription on August 24, 2012 for $46.87 and since then I have been charged on three unauthorized accounts.

  • How to create Payment against the invoices in R12 using API/Interface table

    Hi Experts,
    I need your help.
As per my requirement , we need to create the payments against the invoices using the payment information provided.
Earlier the Payments against the invoice is done by (3rd party system) in 11i.
But, as a part of R12 implementation,
The requirement is like now they are going to provide us and flat file(having below payment information) and we need to create the payment with these information.
    COLUMNS PROVIDED
    SOURCE
    INVOICE INTERNAL NUMBER #
    ACCOUNTING SEGMENTS
    DEBIT/CREDIT
    AMOUNT
    CURRENCY
    BANK ACCOUNT
    PAYMENT DATE
    DUE DATE
    PAYMENT METHOD
    PAYMENT TERMS
    BATCH ID
We need to create an inbound interface to achieve the below requirement.
    1. Create the payments in oracle R12 with the above payment information. (unable to find the way please suggest).
    2. Creating the Journal entries. -> We are having GL_INTERFACE & Journal Import program to import the journals.
    3. Finally we have to posting the same into GL.-- Interface & Import programs available.
Is there any api or interface tables can be used to create the payment against the invoices in r12?
Could you please help me to achive my above requirements.
Any sample code or reference will be a great help for me.
    Waiting for your response.

  • UPGRADE 1103 to 1159 - PAYMENTS CONVERSION QUESTION!

    Hello,
UPGRADE 1103 to 1159 - PAYMENTS CONVERSION QUESTION!
This is the scenario, we are planning to do. Currently we have 11.0.3 in one box. We are planning for re-implementation for 11.5.9 in the new box. So we
have to convert approx 14 months of open and closed data for the historic purposes. (Like PO's, Invoices, Payments and ledger data etc.)
Again, these conversions cannot be handled through the front end using some Data Loader kind of tool etc...
Data Loader tool, I used a lot for loading Flexfield Value Set Values, Category Codes etc...
But my question is converting these AP_PAYMENTS related data in the back end. (Like Check num, Payment Batch ID, Invoice Number, Invoice ID, Supplier Number,
Supplier ID, etc.) from old 11.0.3 box to new 11i box.
Since there was some confusion is going on with Payments related areas, because there was now API's etc... some of them are telling it is very difficult to migrate "AS IS" into 11i. I also heard that oracle won't support this.
Just want to clarify clearly on this issues.
Because we are moving from the small box of 11.0.3 into Big box for 11.5.9. So we don't want to loose all the histories for about 20 months. especially open
Closed / Open - Invoices, Payments, PO's, REQ's, Active Items which are in the Open Blanket PO's, Employees, etc...
Of all these everything sounds like doable because they do have API's etc... Of course, I belive there is no API for the Vendors only. We want to know is this true for the Payments also.
Any urgent clarifications is very much appreciated with clear explanation.
    Thanks in advance
    Mani Varadan

The payment conversion is little bit tricky in term on its understanding and functionality.
There are lot of dependices of payments conversion on the others objects like invoice.
You need to be very clear in requirements.
Here is the extracted documents for giving you clear understanding about payments.
    Overview of Process
Prior to creating a payment batch, four setup are required.
A.Define a bank for bank branches with which you do business.
    B.Define bank accounts.
C.Choose a predefined or custom payment format.
D.Finally, define payment documents for disbursements for each bank account.
To give an overview of the steps required to create payment batch payments:
    1) Initiate the payment batch by entering the criteria for invoices you want to pay. The payment batch process selects invoices, and then builds the payments. It determines which invoices will be paid on each payment document, and lists this information for you on the Preliminary Payment Register.
    2) Make any necessary modifications to your payment batch, such as selecting additional invoices, deselecting invoices, deselecting suppliers, etc. Once modifications are complete, the modify payment batch process automatically builds the payments if any invoices were added.
    3) Format payments to produce an output file.
    4) Print checks from the output file if you are not creating electronic payments or sending the output file to a third party for printing.
    5) Confirm the payment batch by recording the document numbers associated with each payment. During this step, the invoice status is updated to “Paid” and a document number is associated with the invoice and invoice payment.
As conversion(from 11.0.3 to 11.5.9) is concern step 3,4 is excluded from the standard processes.
These are the tables involved during the payment conversion.
    AP_SELECTED_INVOICES_ALL
    AP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL
    AP_INVOICES_ALL
    AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL
These are background (concurrent) processes involved in batch process consists of the following
    a. Autoselect
    b. Build Payments
    c. Preliminary Payment Register
    d. Format
    e. Confirm
    f. Final Payment Register.
    10.7:
If you are using the application in character mode, navigate to the Reset Payment Batch form. The navigation path is
    \Navigate --> Controls --> Payment --> ResetPaymentBatch.
Select the payment batch name and the system displays the status of the batch. Your options for proceeding vary according to the batch status.
    11.5.8/9
You can perform actions on your batch in Payment Batches form by clicking on the Actions button. The appropriate actions are highlighted depending on the status of the batch.
THIS SECTION TALK ABOUT THE DETAIL TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
    Payment Conversion Technical Overview
For the conversion is concern we are following four-step process
I.Defined and prerequisite steps as discussed above
    II.Selecting the Invoice
    III.Building the Payment
    IV.Confirm
    THESE ARE THE PREREQUISITE SETUP
We are assuming the bank set is already done from 10.7 to 11i.Bank set up means bank account id, and its corresponding payment format.
For this purpose we are using mapping function for bank account id and on that basis we are getting corresponding checks stock id.This means defining a payment documents for disbursements
    SELECT INVOICES
When a payment batch is started one row for each record is created in the
    AP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL table.
This table stores the criteria that a payment batch uses to select invoices for payments. The module name for the Auto Select process is APXPBSEL. The Select Invoices, or AutoSelect, is the first step in the payment batch process.
When we run a concurrent program the AutoSelect process starts by loading records that meet the invoice selection criteria into the table AP_SELECTED_INVOICES_ALL from the tables AP_INVOICES_ALL and AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL.
The criteria that AutoSelect uses to determine which record to select from AP_INVOICES_ALL and AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL is stored in AP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL.
To be sure that no duplicate invoices get selected, invoices that are already selected in another payment batch are not selected. Invoice payments that have no remaining payment amounts are not selected either.
    BUILD PAYMENTS
The module name for the Build Program is APXPBBLD. From the list created by AutoSelect, the Build program determines which invoices will be paid on each
Payment document, and lists this information on the Preliminary Payment Register if Selected. The Build program is spawned when AutoSelect has completed. When the Build Program starts, the application uses information from the table AP_SELECTED_INVOICES_ALL to create rows in the table AP_SELECTED_INVOICE_CHECKS_ALL.
In addition to creating rows in the AP_SELECTED_INVOICE_CHECKS_ALL, the build payments program also performs the following tasks:
    • Assigns document numbers for payments
    • Assigns Check Ids
    • Renumbers the remaining documents starting from the first_available_document
    • Updates the payment batch status to BUILT
Since we are doing conversion from 10.7 to 11i where all payments need to converted hence we are keeping payment batch status as ‘FORMATTED’
    CONFIRM
This is the final step for the payment batch process, where we will pick a payment batch from front end, and then making confirm. The menu for this
AP Payable =>Payment Batches form =>by clicking on the Actions button
Internally the confirm program first updates the AP_SELECTED_INVOICE_CHECKS_ALL records,
    then transfers those records to
    AP_CHECKS_ALL.
    In addition, the AP_SELECTED_INVOICES_ALL
records are transferred into the corresponding
    AP_INVOICE_PAYMENTS_ALL,
    AP_INVOICES_ALL and
    AP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL.
Table Involved in Payment Batch Process
These are the various table involved in the payment process of 10.7 and 11i.It is recommended that if corresponding earlier conversion is done then use the mapping function to get the new value.
    oAP_SELECTED_INVOICES_ALL
    oAP_INV_SELECTION_CRITERIA_ALL
    oAP_INVOICES_ALL
    oAP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL
    oAP_SELECTED_INVOICE_CHECKS_ALL
    oAP_CHECKS_ALL
    oAP_INVOICE_PAYMENTS_ALL
    oAP_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL
    oAP_INVOICES_ALL
    oAP_BANK_ACCOUNTS_ALL `
    Common Issue:
1.Determine the status of the Payment Batch?
A: Query up the Payment Batch in the Payment Batches Summary window to view the status. If you can not get into the application, you can select the status from SQL*Plus:
    SELECT status FROM ap_inv_selection_criteria_all
    WHERE checkrun_name = ?<payment batch name>?;
    2. Don’t change the last update date
We are doing the conversion for payments, hence we can’t change he last_updated_date to sysdate as this will create a problem by concurrent program, in that case we need to populate the field for FUTURE_DATED_PAYMENT=’N’
    3. don’t populate the value for INVOICE_PAYMENT_TYPE
If there are some prepayments in the conversion process donor populate this field and pass NULL, otherwise this will create a duplicate invoice, which will cause a problem for concurrent batch for payment.
Hope now you will be very clear about the process.
let me me offline, if you need further.
    regards

  • Payment in other than functional currency and bank currency

    Hi
I am working in a implementation project, i am facing one issue related to multiple currency transaction.
client is maintaining one bank account(USD) in other than functional currency(INR), that account they are using for making a payment in USD or other than USD(third) currency, so in case of payment held in third currency, conversion will happen between USD to third currency, hence there is no functional currency is coming in conversion and at bank account level multiple currency check box can not be enabled due to bank account currency is other than functional currency.
Could you please help me out on this issue.

    Hi Kiran
    Thanks for your reply
I am required Little more help on this, please find the bellow example
    Example
    Ledger/functional Currency is INR
    bank currency is USD
Currency conversion rate has been defined for the currency
invoice is created in GBP, payment need to be make in GBP currency from USD account, because USD$ use for the GBD conversion, now my concern is bank is in USD currency that is other than functional currency, hence multi currency check box can not be enabled, since functional currency is INR so all transaction should be convert to INR for accounting and as multiple currency not allowed at bank therefore enable to make payment from same bank.
    Thanks

  • Segregation of Cash application and application of on account AR payments

    Hi Friends,
We have a requirement to segregate cash application to customer accounts and application of on account payments from customer account. The requirement is coming from Internal audit. They want a process where a group of users can apply payments to the customers , they can apply payment directly to invloice if they know it. But if they don't know the same, they can post on account to the customer. Another group of users (collectors) can call up customer and find for which invoice, the payment needs to be applied and can clear on account payment to an invoice. In FI module, application of payment to customer can be done by using TR code F-28 and account clearing can be done using Tr code F-04/F-32. These two functions can be segregated by restricting access of F-28 to only cash application group. But if the collector wants, he/she can post to cash account using Tr code F-32/F-04 also. SAP does allow to enter any GL Account in clearing Tr codes also so it does not seem possible to segregate these two functions just by restricting access to Tr code F-28. Restricting access of collectors to all GL Accounts may not work as they may have to post exchange rate gain/loss which are GL Accounts.  Has anyone dealt with such situation and how was it solved? Any suggestion would be helpful.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Err AR down Payment Request - no receivable acct

Error: Down Payment receivable/payable account was not found [msg 3703-12].
I copied from SO and put 80% DPM from original amount.  In Actg. tab has Payment Method and Payment Terms.  I setup FL Acct Determination for Sales with all Acct Codes.
I noticed the incoming payment needs to apply at once. I would like I can apply payment later if I can.

    Hi Tahir,
I checked again in BP, Accounting tab, Control Account's window - Down Payment Receivable I set up Account Code for Account Receivable account#11000.  In Accounting tab has Accounts Receivable, Other Receivable and Down Payment Clearing Account (Customer Deposit as Liability) but did not see Payment Advance that did sow in OEC computer db.
Admin, Setup, GL account determination in tab "Sale" for GL tab did not see Payment Advance and I am not sure I have to add any Business Partner account to "Default Customer for AR invoice and Payment", in OEC computer use the one-time customer "C99999" but I would like to apply this feature to most of accounts and they are not one-time customers.  I also setup for "Purchasing" in GL tab but nothing in Tax tab since no tax will be involved.   Thanks.

  • AR invoice with payment can replace AR downpayment invoice

We issue Proforma Invoice (Quote), then issue AR downpayment to collect all payments before we generate legitimate Drop Ship invoice to avoid any non-collect payment.
Not sure "AR invoice with payment" need generate invoice first or in the same time to apply the payment.
Our terms is 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3 (each takes 2-3 weeks) or 1/2, 1/2 (30 and 45 days due) before we ship.  If this is the case, then we can not use this feature.

I found out the missing GL account that is under Admin> Setup> Financials> GL acct Determination
Now, I need GL account in tab Sales - "Payment Advances".  I think this is should be the Liability account instead AR account if I have to choose an account but what will be the offset account?  Why I need GL account for AR Down Payment Invoice since no transaction really will be generated?  Just to calculate how much will be expected from customer on the first installment and balance due.
When I receive the incoming payment will Dr. Checking or Saving and Cr. AR.

  • Customer Down Payment Process Russia

    Hi,
We are currently in the process of implementing our Russian subsidiary into SAP ECC 6.0. In this process we are struggeling to find the correct setup for a specific business process:
For a lot of our customers we are requesting prepayment. We want to handle this in SAP via the down payment process (as in Russia VAT needs to be paid on down payments). So steps are:
We create down payment request for a specific amount.
Customer does down payment + down payment is posted in SAP.
    Customer places an order.
We deliver the product and issue invoice (invoice needs link to down payment against which the invoice will be cleared).
Down payment needs to be cleared.
The part we are struggling with is that the down payment the customer does is not for a specific order. It is a lump sum amount which could cover 1 or more futur orders. So for instance down payment can be cleared partially with 1 invoice or serveral invoices can clear 1 down payment.
Question is: How can we handle this correctly in the system? How can we link the down payment to the customer invoice (there needs to be a reference of the down payment in the customer invoice)?

The customer invoice will not be in FI but will be triggered from SD. Russian requirement is that the down payment against which the invoice will be cleared needs to be printed on the invoice.
Also, this seems a lot of manual work (manually transfer the dow payment F-39, manually clear the invoice with transferred down payment F-32, at the end also manually clear the original down payment with the down payment transfers F-32).
If there are only a limited number of such customers this is feasible, but if there are a lot then it becomes cumbersum).
One way of doing it more efficient, I thought, was to manually clear the invoice directly with the down payment via F-32. You can then post the open difference for the down payment surplus again as a down payment. But again this only works manually. I think there is no way to do this automatically (clear invoice with down payment based on amount and against latest down payment + post difference to down payment reconciliation account). I tried via transaction J3RCALD, but this does not seem to work.
