Payment proposal workflow

Hi friend,

Did you got your task done already? I got a quite similar request which request to start the workflow when the payment proposal has been list and confirmed, the system needs to send out an email for all vendor in the transaction list. Could you please let me know whether can I use the above Business Object BUS2021 in my task. or please kindly give your good advices, since I am a fresher and no experience.

Hello,
Delegate if you can. Create a custom one only if absolutely necessary.
"how can I make the custom workflow trigger with the event"
Define the event as a starting event of the workflow.
"Why is the standard workflow "Release for payment single step" is not being triggered when a payment proposal is made ?"
Maybe the linkage has been disabled by default.

    Hi All,
    Please kindly give me your good advices that how can I start to create a workflow for payment proposal F100. The requirement is that after the payment proposal has been confirmed and completed. It needs to be triggered and automatically send out an email notice for the those vendors, the vendor email address is collected from vendor master record FK03.
    I guess it can use REGUH-XVORL, If "X" means that this is proposal record only. If " " means that it's not a proposal record, which should be a confirmed record yet.
    Please kindly instruct me how to get this task done, since I am a fresher SAP and workflow.

    I've been searching for the answer on the internet.  Several people have asked the same question, but I haven't seen any real answer to the question yet. 
    There is no standard SAP business object for payment proposal, there is one for payment request which uses F111.  There is no standard workflow template, the one for payment release is only for releasing individual invoice.  There are answers about restricting the authorisation, it helps, but it doesn't meet all requirements.  We have people create payment proposals in UK for companies in Europe.  We really need a workflow resolution.  Seperating the authorisation will still require the person who created the proposal sending email to people in different countries to approve the payment.
    Two technical problems that we are facing. 
    1. There is no existing business object. I've been told that we should should ABAP Class.  And include the IF_WORKFLOW in the interface.
    2. There is no event created when the payment proposal is completed.  We are working on creating an event.  I've been told to use SWE_EVENT_CREATE function module. 
    If you have more information about how this can be done, or if there is any easier way, please let me know.  I will be very grateful.

There is no standard workflow template, the one for payment release is only for releasing individual invoice.     I think u should post this in SAP NetWeaver => Workflows.
    There u can see many replies.....
    As per your requirement, we can create our own Business object and event inside that.

  • Workflow for Payment proposal

    Hi all,
    Has anyone of you developed  workflow approval process at the time of payment proposal generation? Is there a standard workflow available?
    We want the payment proposal to trigger a workflow and send it to the manager for approval - this manager then posts the payment.
    Please let me know if and how this can be done.

  • Payment Proposal F110 for vendors

    Dear experts,
    Here is my requirement. A batch job should be scheduled to create a payment proposal. As soon as a proposal created, it should be routed to an approver via workflow to view the proposal and proceed further to run the payments.
    We have about 20 company codes and only one company will be making a payment from only one bank account. We have about 4 different payment methods and few invoice document types. My questions are
    is it best practice to schedule a payment proposal via a batch job?? i have seen people running the proposal manually..
    1) Are there any standard workflows or user exits  available to trigger when a proposal is created
    2) What will be the best practice to give a logic to trigger a workflow? When we create a proposal, table REGUH will be updated for each payment document. So, if I ask workflow to look in reguh table for all payment runs on today's date and create a work item for all of the line item?
    3) The reviewer will have only display access to the proposal once they click on work item in the workflow. So they would hit the display proposal icon to view the details.
    3) I have only worked with four company codes based off four different countries. but, in this scenario we have sereral company codes for one country. what is the best practice to schedule a proposal for all company codes and payment methods at the same time? if i do this, i will have multiple payment programs and a variant for each payment program. I'm concerned about producing DME and postive pay file at single shot..   or by company code and payment method, if I do this the reviewer have to look at the proposal by payment method
    4)I'm unable to run proposal without entering vendor numbers parameters screen AND additional log screen. How can I bypass this and jsut run for all vendor in those comopany codes? I have documen type in free selection. If I don't give vendor number in either of these two places, I will get a message that no accounts have been selected yet.

    Here you have various options to schedule the proposal and payment with different comapny codes and payment methods.
    Please read the program documentation for further processing.

  • Approval for F110 after payment proposal

    Hi,
    I am having a new requirement for F110 tcode, before payment run and after payment proposal somebody has to see the vendor, customer and bank detail etc., and he shall approve it or reject and once he approve which ever item is approved will automatically proceed for payment run.
    I found some workflow but it will trigger only,
    1. Single customer.
    2. Single vendor.
    I found business transaction event but it will run for only customer.
    I need some badi or something to fulfill my requirement.

    hi all,
    i started this project again after so long break....,
    my steps to complete this task-
    i copied the program / report- sapf110o to z* and started building the whole scenario. and will try to assign the workflow as well which is related to miro , ws20000397(but still not sure).
    logic:
    only for invoice payment.
    only date as selection my program will show all the proposal on that date. in second screen vendor level approval is available and in third level detailed level approval is available.and in third screen you can cross check accounting document or display miro.
    it has three level approval, will update table and this will trigger workflow(while running f110) so need to do some enhancement on f110 as well to trigger workflow.

  • Regarding the payment block workflow trigger

    Hi Gurus
    1. All the invoices should be posted with payment block u201CZu201D (customized) where it is not already populated by MIRO with standard u201CRu201D.
    2.Everyday the accountant of the concerned section will run the payment proposal (Automatic Payment Program).  All the invoices that are due will be selected in the proposal with payment block u201CZu201D or u201CRu201D.  Then the accountant manually replaces payment block u201CZu201D or u201CRu201D with u201CSu201D (customized) (signifying start of workflow) in the invoices picked up in the proposal.
    3.Once the payment block changes to u201CSu201D, workflow event should trigger to alert the Section head.
    4.The Section Head then scrutinizes the proposal and wherever he approves the payment block u201CSu201D should be removed in the proposal list. The payment block in all other invoices not approved by the Section Head should be changed from u201CSu201D to u201CZu201D or u201CRu201D again.
    5.The information of rejected invoices should pass to the accountant.
    Roles: 2
    1.Accountant (who has authorization to change the payment block from u201CZu201D or u201CRu201D to u201CSu201D only)
    2.Section Head (who has authorization to approve or to reject)
    Even I given the BOR as BSEG and event as created (Posting item with Payment Block ) .
    I configured as follows.
    1) defined the workflow variant,
    2) assigned the workflow variant to company code
    3) defined the payment block as blank
    But In Event simulation i got workflow get started but it not started. But there is nor event logs too.
    Please help me if you know anything regarding this..

    Did you fix your problem already? recently, I have got a same request from user. The requirement is that after the payment proproal has been confirmed, the workflow should be started by this change and triggers it to send out an email for those vendors by their email address. If you or anybody know about the solution for creating this workflow, please kindly instruct me how to do it, since I am a fresher.

  • Approved payment proposal send to vendors through email

    Hi All,
    We want to send the payment advice to vendors via e-mail as soon as the payment proposal is approved.
    We have the workflow here, once the payment proposal has been created, it will go for the approval.
    the approver will approve the proposal if it is okay.
    so, once this proposal has been approved, the payment advice should send to corresponding vendors through email;

    Hello,
    You can control whether a payment advice note is to be sent by e-mail via BTE interface 00002040.
    The Function Module Sample Process is SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 which you
    can find by using transaction BERP. You can use this Function Module as
    a reference for the BTE and find instructions for setting up the
    interface.
    Note 407827 and1033893 provide good hint on how to achieve your business needs. Furthermore, I'd suggest you to send payment advices after payment run and not after proposal run.

    Your best bet would be to search this forum or the web for F110S and hope someone else asked the same question and got an answer. Otherwise, start looking through the list of BORs in SWO1 to look for some likely names.
    It's also possible that you'll have to make your own BOR or Class. It's not that difficult, but it's preferable to go with an existing one.
    Please let this forum know the result of your search for the benfit of future users with the same question.

  • Posting block removal in the payment proposal editing

    Hello FI experts,
    I have a small query, and I am not able to make myself sure on it. There are many ways in which payment can be blocked in the payment proposal run for invoices , for , e.g., invoice verification block(R), master record block(M), workflow block(W), line item level block(A).
    My query is that in standard , what all are the possible blocks that can be removed while doing the editing payment proposal ? Is it the only line item level block or others as well?

    As per analysis no way for at time remove the payment black..
    But payment black data stored data REGUP table. So you need help for technical team..
    Specifies why a document is blocked for payment.
    The following payment blocks exist:
    Manual payment block
    If you manually select a payment block from the list field to block an invoice for payment, the payment block field in the header of the invoice document is marked with the appropriate indicator.
    Blocked due to differences
    If invoices are to be blocked automatically due to differences in the invoice items, the system enters the payment block R in the vendor line of the Accounting document. The field in the header of the invoice document remains empty.
    Random payment block
    Invoices that do not show any other blocking reason, can be blocked in accordance with the random principle. In Customizing for the Logistics invoice verification, you can set the probability for the block. The indicator for the logistical payment block is entered in the header of the invoice document.
    Dependencies
    If you have set a manual payment block, and an invoice is blocked automatically due to differences in the invoice items, the system enters the manual payment block in the vendor line of the Accounting document.

  • Payment run workflow

    My company has asked me to modify the payment process so that after the payment proposal is generated, a workflow would start. This workflow would route any payments in the proposal that are over $25K to someone for additional approval. Once the approval is received the payment process can continue. We are currently on version 4.6C but are upgrading to ECC 6.0 by June of 08. Do you know if this type of functionality is possible?

    Well, rag rao, you have come to the wrong place then. This is a voluntary service so don't expect people to respond 'urgently to your requests. The other issue is, you are asking for step by step guide to design a workflow, are you aware that there is <b>plenty</b> of this info on SAP Help!
    Finally, I think you should come clean and say to your employer/team lead that you have no workflow skills but will need more time to develop.

  • Approval Process between Payment proposal and Payment run(F110)

    We have a requirement on the approval process in Automatic Payment Run.
    Requirement is a person runs the payment proposal and the details are to be send to the Approver. Once the approver reviews the details in the proposal run, he can either approve or reject the payment run.Once approved then only payment need to be executed.
    Is it possible to build a approval workflow between proposal or payment run?
    if manual approval is happening outside SAP, is it possible to provide a stop payment run until it is approved?-or it only through security?
    Is there any possiblity to attach documents to the each and every proposal run?
    Understand this is a common requirement everyone is having...Looking out for solutions
    Can you please provide SAP standard  or a customised solution?

    According to me there is no standard workflow system for payment proposals approvals.
    Have you tried with the authorisation concept?
    In F110, go to menu item -> Environment -> Authorisations
    Assign the activities to users according to your requirement.
    Please check with your ABAP & BASIS collegues.

    Check the vednor in FBL1N, whether that vendor is in Open Item or not. Check the payment method in Vendor master and any payment blocks. And also check the due date for payment. In F110, check due date with next p/date.
    See the error message in exceptional list and do accordingly.

  • PAYMENT PROPOSAL COULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT

    I did payment run program for one vendor F110 i have 3 invoice. within this invoice one invoice i did payment block at the time of payment proposal in F110 , the remaining two i cleared and i got all result after some days according to the next payment run date i am trying to do payment run F110, At the time schedule proposal the error system showing "PAYMENT PROPOSAL COULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT". Now i need clear that invoice wht i do through F110.....

    Please go to Su01 enter your user ID click on  default Tab and in output Device field please enter Output device and then re-run the proposal again.
