Payroll Integration

I just started doing integration with SAP to our product. I need to build Java interface to pull SAP HR Payroll data. As you know HR Payroll Data is in cluster tables (PCL1,2,3,4,5). I am using JCO libs to communicate to SAP, I could able to pull data from transparent tables, but stuck with cluster tables. With my research revealed that I don't have any existing RFC or BAPI to pull raw cluster tables data, unless write one. My concern is we install our integration package in customer non SAP system and we will provide our service out of the SAP box/system by pulling SAP data. My concern is I don't want to touch customer SAP system and don't want to install new RFC or BAPI in their system, trying for any other solution that I can use. Further research revealed that I can configure US Infotypes 446 to 457 where all payroll results will be loaded and I can use Infotype tables to directly read payroll results data. The other one is IDOC. Could any one have this kind of experience and suggest me what is the best way to go from here. Also I tried to configure Infotype 402, 446-460... None of them loading data after processing payroll or by running payroll data filler program (RPABRI00). Please throw some lights on this, I am kind of stuck here...
Are there any issues using JCo, I mean opening up SAP ports within their own network to communicate with our product, but resides and operated by customer itself.

I did try these function modules, but are not RFC's. They are not remotely enabled, hence I can't use them from JCo.
If I try to remotely enabled any of these, complains for type of the data or structure. First of all I am not sure SAP allows to change the Attribute for standard ABAP functions, any clue. If so what is the procedure to make those functions remotely enabled.

We are doing Negative Time Management where we record only deviations
But customer has third party time machine which required to be integrated with SAP system
As I know, from the time recording terminal, i should map SAP number to all employees and then get a text mail the details with employee attendance for the respective dates and times. Then, have to create a ABAP report which will read the text file and update clock in/out with date into SAP system. After this we can check employee attendance infotype 2011.
But, Before going for above, time administrator wants to set IT0007 as 7- time evaluation without payroll integration, then maintain data in IT0050 & IT2011
Then run Time Evaluation then the out put will be according to the data maintained in IT 2011. Now the requirement is, time administrator wants to change eg. the day is suppose to be working day for any employee but based on adjustments that day became weekly off, another employee suppose to work but again due to some adjustments that day became weekly off, so how this time administrator can change this and where. This is like, time administrator need to see the total work schedule for an employee and needs to change whichever data and whenever or after time evaluation, he could see the total work schedule as desired.
And also, time administrator wants to change schedule manually for any of the employee during that particular period and view the same.
Please note that, ESS/MSS haven't implemented yet.

I have created a workschedule on wednesday In a year there can be weekly off 5 or 6 times on Saturday or Sunday So in that case there is no need to create three workschedules we can create one workschedule and change the days Again we need to regenerate the workschedules inorder to take 'off's" in to account. that is what iam thinkinng at the moment. Yes there is no need to do anything in IT 007 If there is any change in Shift in that Case User has to change workschedule in IT 007.
If there is weekly off he can select the dates on which day it is falling and generate the workschedule.
for changing shifts he should change work schedule in IT 007
Is this is right approach please throw some light on this
My client requirement was Sometimes there can be weekly off in the company It can be either wednesday off or saturday off or
unday off or it can be any day.

FI Changes for HR Payroll Integration with Thrid party Payroll Software

VicDownload all the files into Execel, hope after tht u can change it to CSV.... To download HR MASTER DATA use Ad-Hoc qqry. Else use SE11, SE12 or SE16 to download IT wise. PA starts with PA0000 ets OM starts with HRP1000. Hope through this u can download and send to 3rd party system....
In std we are having an option for 3rd part PY transfer. Check this if help

when do we go about Time Management Status - 7 - without Payroll Integration.
In this case how the process goes on SAP. what do we do in this status. do we record employees attendances in 2002 IT

You are using time management status 7 which means that no integration to payroll.Now as far as ur Quotas are considered then please use RPTQTA00 which is just a program and RPTIME00 or PT60 which will run time evaluation and if u want your Quotas to generate in time evaluation then just change V_556A_B in this table to increase so with time evaluation and no generation for Quotas to be with time evaluation.
The client may ask sometimes for few Quotas to be prorated on a daily basis and so on in that case go with TE Quota generation
else RPTQTA00 is ok.So see ur business and use either of it

Infotype 0007 does have some influence on 0008, but it is limited to the number of hours defined in the work schedule.
In wide spectrum, the time wage types are used and they are validated through the ZL tables in the time evaluation, and are linked into the payroll schema.
Just by configuring the 7 infotype does not ensure that your Time and Payroll are integrated.

Your ZL table from time evaluation(B2 cluster) is the integration between payroll and time.
In the payroll schema if you are using IMPORT B2 function, then your payroll is integrated.

Under SPRO -> Payroll -> Country Payroll -> Benefits, are the options u must configure.
Be sure to create wage types copying the standard ones.
In this case is better that you copy wage types from the standard option
In table V_T512Z, select infotype 0167 to see permitted wage types, your new wage type must be in this group.
Value of the wage type will be automatically taken from the benefits cost configuration.
You must assign a wage type for a plan.

We are currently implementing SAP HCM in ECC 6.00 SP60
Could you please clarify the following queries:
1. How can i pay Internal Instructor / Trainer for few Business Events through Payroll.
When i create a internal trainer for a Business Event, automatically attendance type gets recorded in IT2002 based on below mentioned configuration, unfortunately for all business events only one attendance type for instructor and attendee gets recorded in IT2002
SEMIN AINST 0001 Attendance type for instructor in T554S
SEMIN APART 0002 Attendance Type for Attendance in T554S
But is there any way where i can send different attendance types for different Business Events for a instructor /Trainer? So that in payroll i can query on the attendance type in IT2002 and pay him depending upon the attendance type.

Is there any other way where i can pay the internal trainer automatically from TEM to Payroll?

Fusion OTL and EBS Payroll - Integration

I have a client who currently has EBS for OTL and Payroll, and is thinking about moving OTL to the cloud (along with other HR modules). They are unable to move Payroll to cloud at the moment because Australian legislation is not yet available in Fusion Payroll. My questions are around integration:
1) Is there currently in built integration that brings in Time entered by employees from Fusion to EBS Payroll for payment? Does it work similarly to the EBS process 'Transfer Time From OTL to BEE Batch' in that it will create Batch element entries in Payroll?
2) I am assuming I will need to setup Alternate names and link them to Payroll elements in Fusion Time and Labor, is there a process that gets the available elements from EBS payroll to Fusion?

I am not sure about standard interface, but you can achieve same using below method.
Outbound (Fusion to EBS ) interface : HCM Extract
Inbound (EBS to fusion) interface : FIle Based Loader

SAP Payroll Integration with PCA
Hi Gurus,
Please assist on the integration logic for posting revenue postings from payroll.
As part of the payroll posting revenue due to interest earned from staff loans must be posted to a revenue account in FI
The revenue element is defined with cost element category 11-Revenues and thus the system requires a an CO account assignment in the form of a profit center. We are not using profitability analysis
The payroll posting is not successfully posted to FI because there is no account assignment to a CO objects (Message KI235).
The employee in question is assigned to a cost center via the position. And I was expecting that the profit center would be derived from this cost center. Unfortunately this is not the case.
Please assist me by explaining how the profit center can be entered/derived for the revenue postings resulting from payroll. In Hr there appears to be no possibility of assigning a personnel master a profit center.

Golive from Jan 2015, Enrollment starts during Mid Jan thru Portal, Deduction should happen thru next payroll run, We are closing the enrollment during Mid March 2015.
Payroll runs in ADP, What settings to be done in SAP for deductions and postings, advise to ADP while sending PY data.
Sequential integration check points and respective configuration steps will be helpful

OTL with Projects and Payroll Integration - Actual Costing
How does the costing work when we have the OTL integrated with Projects and Payroll? (R12.2.4 functionality - Actual Costing)
As explosion process is based on elements, it only applies to payroll. You can use this functionality with Projects and Payroll Timecard Layout, but project will get the non exploded hours.

For ADP, you dont need to worry much....ADP will provide you all the interface program (ABAP), just compile and start using them. Good Luck!!
