PCo Managment WebService version change?

I'm trying to restart PCo agents from MII using the http://hostname:50050/PCoMangement web service. I'm using the Web Service action block.
Making use of PCO version 2.3041856.1458(31/01/2014 11:58:48AM) I have no issues.
Something changed though in PCO version 2.304.1889.1551 (05/03/2014 7:57:02AM), besides the version number
When I click FINISH in the "configure object" web service action block, I get an error: "XML Proxy Error: Could not create XMLGenerator, Schema Was Null". Is this supposed to happen? I'm not aware of any procedure to change the PCO web service internals .. Is there one?
Same MII 14.0 SP4 .. different PCo versions. There is another thread here showing the same error, and in that case, the Web Service configuration changed. Are we in the same situation? They solved it be changing the web service back from RPC type to Documentstyle.

Looks like with MII 14.0 before SP5 one needs to install manually the Xalan/Xerces libraries due to a license change. These libraries are needed to run the background XSLT transforms.
Fortunately, the libraries are back into the install packages with 14.0 SP05. SAP NOTE 1294013 has more information on the topic.

Enterprise Manager Console (Version 9.0.1.0.0) Not Starting on Win 2000 Pro

I have recently installed the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console (Version 9.0.1.0.0) successfully, however when I click on the icon to start it, no dialog opens up!!! I have also tried manually starting the Enterprise Manager Console by typing C:\Oracle\OUIHome\bin\oemapp.bat console, but again no dialog opens up!!!
In investigating to why this is occurring I have reviewed the NT event logs where no relevant information was found, and also the directory C:\Oracle\OUIHome\sysman\log; but no files were found!
I have reviewed the Oracle Enterprise Manager Readme Release 9.0.1 Production for Win32, but this was of no use!
In the Oracle Enterprise Manager Configuration Guide Release 9.0.1 it discusses what to do if the Management Server does not start, however as said above no log files were found to exist! It also discusses changing a oemctl script, however I cannot find the oemctl script!!!
Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Note that I have tried un-installing and re-installing.

Thanks for your response. Yes the URL displays the XML when run from the browser of the machine in which PCO is installed. We have our PCO server installed in a separate box, which we access via RDP (first to access terminal server and then RDP in that machine to connect to box where PCO is installed). Can you please advise if we're missing out on some configurations midway? Also, we just managed to create the dataserver connection for PCO, however when we try to start the instance we get the same WSDL error. On checking the Log Viewer-GET_PCO_AGENTS_LIST_FAILED:-

Managing different versions of BOM

Hi there!
On the Oracle Bill Of Materials users guide we can read that differents version of a BOM (or routings) can be defined (p.2.6) within the same revision.
I would like to manage the Versions of the same revision (for example associating a letter or a number for every version created).
could anyone help me?

22-oct i create a new revision of this BOM (4 example A)
24-oct i made change without creating new revision (for example i' have change the Item's position for the assembly)
Now i should have 2 versions of B_1
Version 1 revision A (22 oct)
Version 2 revision A(24 oct)
I would like to have a trace of these versions (1 and 2)of the same item.

How to handle version changes? Strategies?

We're struggling with version change issues. Most recently we tried to move from 8.5 to 8.6 and lost about a week of project time while we tried to make it run well. The problem was that the Development Environment would crash several times a day while doing block diagram edits, losing unsaved changes. We never found any clues as to why. It would be one thing to debug a VI that crashes, but when it is the LV editor itself that is crashing, how do we work on that?
Anyway, we have a policy here of freezing software updates for projects that are close to completion, because buggy updates so often delay project completions, and this triggered a return to 8.5, which is where we remain now on that project.
But now we can't install and use the VI Analyzer we just bought on any of the PCs tied to that project, as it demands 8.6. I do have one PC that is completely disconnected from this project, and it runs 8.6, so running the Analyzer there may be useful, but still messy.
How do you handle version changes? How often do you try to follow the updates? How often do you need to go back a version? Do you maintain different versions? Is it even possible to run multiple versions on an individual Win XP PC?

I have installed several versions of LabVIEW on my system.
Most of the toolkits are only installed in the latest versions. There are ways to install toolkits on multiple versions.
And I think that toolkits as of LabVIEW version 8.6 can be installed on several LabVIEW verions.

How to manage multiple version of PLSQL application in database?

Hi all,
What are the recommended approaches for managing multiple version of plsql program in a single database?
We can't afford to have different db instance for different version due to server resource.
We need to keep different version so that easier to support our users who are using different version of our application.
Please advise.

Oracle (R) Enterprise Manager Console Version 9.2.0.1.0 Error?

I just took over from someone the role of a DBA and I would like to clarify an issue I saw in Oracle (R) Enterprise Manager Console Version 9.2.0.1.0 Production.
My Default Temporary Tablespace, TEMP.DBF is currently sized at 6144 MB, Used size is 6140 MB, 99.93% with full auto extend on.
Automatically extend datafile when full (Auto extend) 20480 K Bytes.
Maximum Size - 8192 K Bytes. (------> Issue to clarify here<------)
I think most probably my ex-staff clicked wrongly and chose "K Bytes". It should be "M Bytes". However, I would like to know how is it possible that OEM console Version 9.2.0.1.0 allows the Maximum Size (8192 K Bytes) to be below 6144 MB? Is this allowed? If so and left uncheck, what will the repercussion be on the TEMP tablespace?
Has anyone ever come across this issue?

Now Bytes is more than Maxsize , its common behaviour of oracle database. When you resize tempfile, you have to again mention what is the maxsize.

Email notification to Manager on routine change request

I am trying to set up a multi review activity template for routine change request. The first Review Activity should notify the creator of the Change Requests Manager so the Manager can review. In the Review Activity, there is a check box for "Line Manager
Should Review". If I just check this box, will the Manager listed in AD for that user get an email or do I need to create an email subscription?
If I need the to create an email subscription, the question would now be what do I select for "Related Recipients" keeping in mind this is a Review Activity? Since we don't know who the Manager will be as it depends on the user creating the CR,
I certainly can't hard code a recipient so I need to user Related Recipients. When I get to this part, I have a laundry list of selections that basically do not make sense to me. Any help here would be appreciated.

There's really three separate problems here, so i'll address them indivigually:
First, you want to automatically add a line manager to a change request. This is the intention of the Line Manager checkbox. when the activity status workflow runs, and that box is checked, it looks at the parent work item, then looks at the created by users
of that parent work item, and adds that user to the list of reviewers for the activity. The implied permissions (http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2014/03/19/improving-ad-connector-performance.aspx,
this seems to be the only documentation of it) will allow that user to approve.
Second, there are no notifications by default, but a common requirement is a notification for all reviewers when their input is required. i have used
This method to generate these notifications. fortunately, the method Travis details is compatible with the line manager checkbox.
Finally, Approvals by emails is a function of
the Exchange Connector. You can set up keywords to allow people to reply to notifications with directives like [Approved] or [Resolved], and the connector will apply those directives to related connectors. You have to modify the exchange connector to include
the id in brackets (i.e. "[RA1234]") so it gets related correctly, but using the notification method from above, this should be easy (and
here is a hint).

How to get the version changes programatically in ItemCheckedin event

I am creating a custom version history page.
I have a requirement were I have to capture the changes after file check-in and display it in the custom page.
Is there anyway to get the version changes programatically after the file has been checked-in?
Is is possible to get the current version and previous version in ItemCheckedin event
and get the version changes?

Apple Technical Support number: (44) 0844 209 0611
And ask for the Account Security Team. This worked for me.

After install oracle 10g, enterprise manager web version, can not login

I have installed oracle 10g on windows xp pro sp2 successfully, can use sqlplus to connect to DB, but when using IE to login enterprise manager web version port 1158, it failed. The login page came out, but when I keyed in the right userid/password ie sysman/pwd1234, the login screen just refreshed, nothing happen. but if I purposely key in wrong userid or password, the message "invalid userid or password" comes out.
Another "interesting" thing is, I can login web version isqlplus successfully using the same userid/password. but can not connect to web version isqlplus/dba, even I use user sys, also can not login.
Need your urgent help to solve this problem.

as per my knowledge there is no effect in the user exit ,in generally when version change the screens are chenges for particular transaction not the user exit .
