Photoshop CS 5 will no longer open and display a file on the screen

I am running CS5 on a pc with windows 7. Suddenly, CS5 stopped displaying any pictures (both .jpg and .raw) on the screen after I import them from my hard drive. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but the problem perisists. Can anybody tell me what to do?

Firefox will no longer open and I can not get the profile manager to open either. What do I do?

I tried to open firefox this morning, and it would not open. I tried to uninstall and reinstall several times and even deleted all of my information. I looked it up on your site, and it said to open the profile manager. I followed the directions on how to open it, and it too will not open. I tried several times to open it as well. I need help. I only use firefox and have for years, and I have never had this problem. What do I do?

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

I attempted to perform the itunes update on two different PCs and itunes will no longer open and I received a message to reinstall itunes. The reinstall did not work and I now receive a Runtime error message (R6034) re: library loading incorrectly. Help?

I've been having the same exact problem this morning, and from the looks of it a lot of other people are posting about this issue, so I don't know if it's maybe something wrong with the download but I'm just relieved that it seems to be that instead of a corruption issue with my windows installation. I'm just wondering how long this will take to be resolved.

Open and print multiple files from the Finder all at once.

I'm trying to research how to do this. In OS9 you used to be able to hi-lite multiple files (Word files for example) and just hit Command+P. This would automatically open all of the files AND print them.
I can't seem to do this in my OS X. Or can I? I can hi-lite and go to File/Print, but the computer is only opening but not printing.
Any suggestions??

I don't know how to both "open and print" multiple files in one step. The ⌘O combination of course will open multiple items. The items remain selected so switching back to the "Finder" and dragging multiple icons onto the icon for "/Applications" > "Utilities" > "Printer Setup Utility.app" seems to cause them all to be printed to the default printer.
Alternatively, a user's "~/Library/Printers" folder contains printer icons -- I'm not sure what they are exactly, but they represent the printers set up for that account. They function pretty much like the pre-OS X "Desktop Printer" icons so dragging and dropping multiple files onto them should cause them to be printed. It may even be possible to create aliases to them on the "Desktop" to recreate "Desktop Printer" functionality. But again, this won't open the files into their applications.

After updating Firefox it will no longer open and i get the message "firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" end of story.

Firefox was working well. One day I logged on to use Firefox and was prompted to update my version which I did. After or during the update the following message was given on the screen "firefox has encountered a problem and needs to close". It closed and now every time I click on the firefox icon I get the same message from Microsoft. That is all the information I get. Each time I go to open Firefox I get the same message. Likely because the drop broke something like the digitizer.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Barcode scanning and displaying other details on the screen

Hi All,
I have a requirement to replace the existing leagacy which has a POS functionality screen with SAP Screen.
Currently the leagcy does the following function.
When the user scan the Barcode of the product, other details of that are reflected and displayed.
The same requriement has to be developed in ABAP.
When the user scan the barcode, the details of the product should be displayed on the screen.
This functionality is same as in POS.
Kindly let me know how to proceed ...as I am unable to find any event where in after just scanning the barcode the detials of barcode are captured on screen field but how and which code/event triggers the other details to be displayed on the screen without any action from the user except scanning the barcode.

Hi,
the barcode scanner should be set up to trigger an Enter key after scanning a barcode.
This will trigger your PAI right after scanning a barcode, so you can easily handle the input and process it as necessary.
There is really no difference between entering the input through keyboard and pressing Enter, and entering it using a barcode scanner.
You won't need anything else apart from the standard PAI/PBO processing.

The main problem I am having is just opening and completing my emails. The screen freezes and I can't do anything but minimize and close.

After I close the window/s the report error window pops up . Then the next one which tells me the report was sent. Then the options to go further and so I came here today and Now I have done what you said to do so far. I even updated Acrobat reader and Flash player. I have used Mozilla Firefox for years and never had any trouble like this. This is the way windows behaves on a regular basis and is why I changed to Linux for years. I got this computer a couple years ago and did not have any trouble. Recently I have this to deal with several times every day. I cannot close the window in upper right corner without bringing up more error windows. So I minimize and close at the bottom. It still takes way too long, but it finally closes. Open and Save downloaded files at the same time (in one click)

OVERALL GOAL: To click on PDF links online, save the files to my Downloads folder, AND open them in Acrobat Pro, all in one click.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how I would tell Firefox to both Save and Open my downloads? I'm using OS X, if it helps/matters.

That happens automatically with both my Macs. I have one using 10.4 and another using 10.6. I use PDFView rather than Adobe, but I doubt that makes much difference. You are using Adobe as a helper application, not a plugin, right?

Illustrator cs will no longer open.

I installed cs3 design premium on a MacBook about a month ago. Now Illustrator will no longer open and a pop up appears saying "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened." However, all the other programs in the design suite are running fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the cs3 and I keep getting the same error message. i have a mac air on osx lion. for some reason iphoto will no longer open and the following error message appers

I recommend you do a Software Update.
