Photoshop licence for small company purchase

Hello!
We're a small company based in Luxembourg and we'd like to purchase Photoshop (only it). As I understood, you have a licence for small companies?
One year subscription costs 17.99 euro per month, and a single month is 27.99 euro.
Can we purchase Photoshop for only several months (say, Feb, May and Aug) if we're not planning to use it regularly?
Thanks.
p.s.: also, if we purchase one licence for a year, is it only for one machine or my colleague also can activate it on different computer?

You can cancel and reinstate monthly plans as you see fit, you just miss all possible discounts when you do it that way. And well, if you only use PS once every few months the smart thing probably to do would be to learn GIMP and some other free tools, meaning you proabbaly don't use any advanced features that you coulkd not find in those free tools as well. Otherwise look into getting CC for Teams or a volume licensing plan, but those require at least a full 1 year commitment.

  • Which License is good OEM, OLP or Volume Licensing for small company

    Dear Admins,
Actually I am setting up a lab for a small company with 25 users. Confused which license to purchase. Vendor sent us quotation in which he mentions we have to purchase "HP Server DL-380 -G8 Intel Xeon 2.5GHZ " in order to install windows server
2008 R2 OEM Edition CD. Actually I just want to know. Can't we purchase  a assembled computer/Machine and purchase Windows Server 2008 R2 OEM CD  for successful implementation?. Now, My question to you is. What is this OLP and OEM. Does OLP mean
we can install Windows Server in assemebled computer or machine and OEM means only dedicate company machine is capable to install OEM edition, Just confused, Please let me know. It is just a small company with 25 users. What do you recommend. Thank you for
    your support.
    Best Regards,
    Fahad Ahmed.

    Hi Fahad,
Couple of things to remember as well
OEM licences comes with the machine probably you have seen laptops and desktop has a windows key sticker that's an OEM license. Only limitation with OEM is you can't use OEM license anywhere else then the machine you have bought it with. If an OEM license
machine dies license will die as well.
With volume license you have the freedom to move around the license. If you have only one license on one machine at one time.
Also when you buy a windows server license it comes with 5 user CALs. So that's why you have to buy 20 more.
Now if you want to know what are the CALs, so CAL is a Client Access License require for a
user/device to access windows server. For example if you have a user and he wants to access share files or printer from the server you will require a user CAL. So if 25 users will access the Server you will require 25 CALs.
Best thing to do is to speak with your account Manager from Dell or HP regarding the license side as normally they are really good in helping.
    Hope this helps :)

  • TTS price for small company

    Hi everyone,
As a small company, I may not be the only one facing this situation and I would like to get your feedback on this.
My main job is an IT teacher but I also have my company on the side which I use to develop interactive content with Adobe Captivate.  Most of my clients have an interest in the TTS part of the software.  Everything so far is good and I enjoy developing with the software.
The problem is, as a small company (mostly myself), if I need to include the TTS for resale, I need to pay the same price as everyone else.  Most of the Website I have visited so far are not selling their product for cheap (1500 - 5000$) just to get one TTS voice.  The cheapest I have found is Inova for ~700 +tx with an annual subscription.
So I ask myself, what would you guys suggest me to do to get a decent TTS (French) that I can embed in captivate for resale ? I don't have the budget of a major company to pay that much for a TTS voice.
    Thanks

OK, its probably just me not having complete understanding on how TTS resale works within a published captivate project..
I was informed that I need to purchase a commercial TTS voice if I sell the file (Output file / SCORM) that includes TTS in it.
Does that mean I can buy a personal TTS voice license for my company, add it to all my captivate projects, publish it to SCORM format, sell the courseware to my clients and still be legit ?
    Just want to be sure
    Thanks for your help.

  • IP Adressing and subnetting for small company

Hey everybody. I'm trying to come up with the best solution for this topology. The descryption is as follows:
A small company with 50PCs, 10Printers, 5Web Servers and 5 IP phones is functioning in two places. City A - the main branch and City B.
Now I would like to know how should I do this. According to my friend the servers should have their own static IP. Each of the host PC on this screenshot represents actually 10PCs and each printer stands for two. Also the subnetting should be ready for growth of the company so there should be some extra slots or even segments. I've read the guide to this at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_tech_note09186a00800a67f5.shtml, but I still don't understand how should it be done when there is one more switch standing on top of the other subnets.
Now, I can choose any IPs I want and any class I want.. it't just an exercise so, if you guys here can, and are willing, please tell me how should this be properly done.
    Thanks.

The first question I have is - are your switches layer 3 capable, or just layer 2?
I would have each segment in a separate VLAN, with a /24 for IP space, then trunk the VLAN's back to switch 1 (if it's layer 3 capable), or through switch 1 to the router, making switch 1 the "distribution" switch and the router your "core".
    Use a /30 for your intra-site link (no need for more - it's a point-to-point link - and use another /24 for Site 2.
Make sure your routers have clear routes configured to link all the subnets, and away you go. Separate VLAN's to reduce broadcast domains, nice little islands of PC's and printers, and logical separation.
If *all* your switches are Layer 3 capable, you could be more complex and setup each switch with SVI's for your connected devices, and then use another SVI (or no switchport option on your uplink port) to connect them - but that'd be messy, and you'd end up having a to put a routing table on all devices which you really don't need.
    Cheers.

  • Best business process for "small recurring purchases"?

    Hi
How is YOUR best practice for procurement of "small recurring goods/services"? Overall we want as easy a business process as possible, although still adhering to basic business control objectives.
Basically we think we have two options:
    - MM-based flow with a PReq, PO, GR/SE, invoice reg
    - FI-based flow with invoice registration (including our own sap custom developed workflow for GR and cost approval)
Examples of the goods/services in question are recurring costs, such as:
    - phone
    - cell phone
    - broad band services (DSL)
    - gasoline
    - subscriptions of magazines and likewise
All characterized by being recurring services, almost fixed amount, multiple GR/SE and not "large costs".
Our internal controls (internal audit!) demand that TWO persons should be involved before paying an invoice.
    - In MM-flow we do this by having a PReq/PO release procedure (value-based individual limits) plus a GR-requirement. If the invoice then matches PO and GR/SE, accounts payable will simply pay! If not, then AP will contact PO-creator. One of the big advantages of the MM-flow is that the statistics are much better compared to a FI-flow.
    - In FI-flow, we have our own workflow functionality, that sends an invoice to the "goods receiver" for GR/SE; and subsequently send it to the "cost responsible for cost approval.
We have been looking at various options:
    A. PO of type frameorder with item category B (limit). However, our problem is that GR is NOT allowed. So only "one person" is involved, if the invoice price matches the PO.
    B. PO of type frameorder with item category D (service). GR is technically allowed, so everything is OK. Question is how can we help to NOTIFY the requisitioner? A phone bill comes every calender quarter. How to make the service entry "easy to do"?
    C. FI invoice (with our own sap workflow to enable GR requirement). However, this way every invoice need approval. There is no timesaving, in case that the invoice matches... And no statistics anyway. We are doing this now ... but it does NOT seem optimal.
    D. Individual PO - one for each invoice - same as Z., but of course statistics ok. Takes too much time!
How do YOU handle this business process? Everyone HAVE these purchases, so please comment on this ...
    Thanks

  • VOIP system for small company

Hi, I am planning to replace phone exchange, and thinking on something with VOIP system, my main requirements are:
    - 2 isdn lines for backup
    - 4 voip lines
    - up to 15 users
woud uc500 be a good solution or would you recommend anything else?
    Thanks

The UC540 would be perfect IMO. Find a good SIP provider and your only limited by bandwidth and the number of DID's and I guess DSP resources but at 15 users I wouldnt worry to much about that. CCA is much improved now compared to what it was a few years ago and you should be able to get it up and running pretty quickly. There are tons of resources under the technical enablement labs for the UC5xx/SBCS product line. We did a roadshow the last quarter of 2010 and used most of those labs (the ones in under the technical enablement labs page) to show partners all the ins and outs of the UC500 product line and I know during the ones I did I had a ton of Account Managers who felt confident enough to actually do the technical install of a basic system after a few days of training. Cisco is dedicated to making sure their partners and their customers have every tool possible to be successful so use them!

I purchased one photoshop licence, how many computers can install it? And If you have a limit of computers that can be installed, how can i exceed it? for example, pay addition and ETC. I'm not company, but personal user.

Two current activations.  If you need more, then you need to pay for a new license.  ISTR a poster in a similar position a month or so back.  I can't remember if he persauded Adobe to change his licens to a Teams Subscription.  What are you hoping to achieve?

    Hi Rosera,
This is bad and I am sorry to hear that you are running into these issues.
Let me connect with you, so right now, the current state is that you have installed copy of PSE 8 in trial on your windows 7 machine, and when you are trying to enter the serial number from your PSE 8 Box, it is saying the serial number to be invalid?
It might sound pretty obvious, but please make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly and of PSE 8(in case you bought a PEPE box)?
Have you tried the steps mentioned below by Barbara?
If possible, you can send me the serial number through PRIVATE MESSAGE and I can check it on my end that whether the serial number is indeed invalid or that the issue is with your machine?
    Regards,
    Ankush

    Hi,
Have you tried downloading Photoshop Elements 13 from here?
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-10-11-downloads.html
There is only one file to download - which one depends on your system (32-bit or 64-bit).
These are the trial versions but will convert to the full version when you supply your serial number.

All you should have to do is to go to the Adobe web site http://www.adobe.com.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and Password.
Then go the web page's Search field and type in "My Orders".
Follow the "My Orders" link to your orders, find the order corresponding to the version in question.
There should be an opportunity there to download a new set of installation files.
Do you have your purchased serial number? If not, I am not sure if it will be included in the "My Orders"
area. But, it should be in the "My Products" which you can access from the Search field. Click on the
name of your product in "My Products", and the serial number should be revealed.
Please let us know the outcome.
    Thank you.

i am with a university and i purchased the adobe photoshop elements for a faculty member of mine, how can he download it when it is in my name but he is the one needing it?

There is nothing to prevent him from downloading and installing the trial version (Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe).  At the point all you need to do is provide him with the serial number so that he can activate it.  If the intent is that he be the owner of the software then you might want to see about transfering the license...

You cannot. CS3 is too old to swap platforms from Windows to Mac.
Your choices are to buy CS6 (full version), join the Cloud or buy Photoshop Elements 12 for Mac.
