Planned cost in service order does not reflect PO price change

Dear experts:
I set up a service order for external processing using control key SM02. I enter the purchasing data e.g. price, vendor, info record. I determine costs and the system calculates the planned cost for purchasing correctly.
On saving the service order, a PR is automatically created. Then I raise a PO for the PR, and change the PO net price.
I now return to the service order and determine costs again. However, the system still calculate the planned cost based on the price in the external operation, not the changed PO net price. Only if I remove the price in the external operation and determine costs, will the system calculate the planned cost based on the PO net price.
I have played around with the Customzing setting for valuaiton variant (transaction OKP8). Changing the strategy sequence for External processing does not seem to make any difference.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Thank you.
With regards,
Dan

Hi,
In standard functionality the System will calculate the Planned price from the filed where you maintain the price for that operation.
The Planned price is PR price only for any order. The PO price is actual price/Market price,Once the GR will be done then the PO price will get update in the Actual cost of the Service order.
This is standard Functionality,If you want to update the planned price with the PO price then try with User exit to update the price. The field is PKOSTEN for the planned price.

  • CRM service order does not create purchase requisition

    Dear experts,
    CRM 5.0
We have a scenario where saving a released service order should create a purchase requisition in ECC and update the document flow. I have performed the following steps and still the PR isn't getting created.
    1. Configuration in CRM and ECC for integration of service processes with logistics and maintaining the purchasing document types.
    2. Maintaining standard pruchase groups in ECC table V_TMW01
    3. Assigning standard purchase org to the plant
    4. Making sure correct RFC destination is assigned to the logical system.
Am I by any chance missing some middleware steps as saving the service order does not even trigger anything in the system?
    Thanks
    Ritwik

    Hi Ritwik,
Just check the following activities  are maintained or not
    1) You have created the subscription in SMOEAC with Site , Replication object  and Service Order
Process type in the criteria value.
    2) You have maintained the customizing entry in CRM in spro for the following combination in logiistics
Integration for  Trans.Type  Item Cat.  Service Organization Org Unit (Service)  Log. Scen.

  • Service order component not reflecting in sales order

    Dear All,
I have mapped service notification type & service order type now if i create sales order directly from the service notification sales order is not reflecting the componets assigned in service order for that service notification. can anybody help me out?

    Sanjay,
This is not standard, although it is possible through development (e.g. via action-box).
However, there is the advance shipment functionality in the service order which does allow you to create a sales order from the service order components...

  • Report for extracting the actual and planned cost from service orders

    HI all
we are creating a report in BI for Module - Customer service . LIke , the report is all about how many complaints created in the system and how many completed technically and what is the cost involved for each complaint .
Like we want the comparision between the planned cost and the actual cost .
Now to give the logic to the BI Team for planned cost and actual cost , please suggest the flow of logic or table flow to arrive the planned and actual cost
    thanks in advance

    Hi Marthand,
I am not sure which datasource your are using. In this case, you can use the 0VALUETYPE to differencitae between th eplan and actuals. Normally Plan which is budget will have value 050 and for actuals will have 010. For costs, you will have one key figure and at the reporting level, you will have the costs restricted by the value type for plan and actual to make comparisons.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sales order - show total plan costs (from production order) on sales order

    Hi all,
    I have the following question/scenario:
We create prodction order to collect cost (hours) for a service. There exists also a material master for this service.
The confirmed hours are posted on the production order and then setteld to the respective sales order (settlement rule SDI).
What to I have to maintain/customize to show the total plan cost (for the service) on gthe sales order?
If I check the sales order via VA03 --> environment --> cost report , I can see the planned sales revenue but no planned costs?
(the actual value flows work so far, postings via settlement or billing document).
I hope the topic is understandable. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Planned costs from prod order can not show on sale order.. Both are 2 separate entities in their own respects
Unless you calculate sales order cost estimate on your sales order, you cant see planned costs on sale order...
To calculate sale order cost estimate, make settings in your requirement class...
    1. Go to procurement tab of sale order
    2. See whats the requirement type
    3. Go to IMG > Controlling > Prod cost Contr > Cost Obj Contr > Prod Cost by Sales Order > Control of Requirements
    4. Here you can see mapping of req type to req class....
    5. If you want to have sales order costing and have sales order as CO object inorder to have sales order wise profitability, you should have following settings in Req class...
    >Acct Assignment Category should be E
    >Costing: Either Blank or X
    >Costing Id and Costing Method: As per your requirement

  • Planned Order Does not exist

my Stocks and requirements list shows an MRP element of DEPreq for a element data (halb part number). Double clicking on the element I see the pegged requirement part number and planned order.  However. SAP says the planned order does not exist nor does the pegged requirement. I can trace upwards in stocks requirement to another part number. the Data element says DIRECT PRODUCTION. but again there is no requirement for that part nor can i get to the planned order for it either, SAP says it does not exist.
These are  related part numbers which I suspect may have come from a common Bill of material; but there is no demand for the high level material but yet I have low level componenets in my Stock and requiremnts.
Is this a table inconsistency issue?
    thanks in advance

  • Order does not have any selectable item .

    Hi Experts ,
I am trying direct production scenario where I have assembly with SPK 50 and ( PT : E) . I have converted planned order for header material and automatically prod order is created for assembly also  . For assembly I procured material and after MIGO ( GR ) stock is updated .  But while doing Goods receipt in MB1A ( MT 261 ) for assembly production order system showed message order does not have any selectable item .
I confirmed the assembly order but stock is not reducing ( No goods issue happed for assembly ) .
I guess, in direct production we need not to do goods issue for header material ( or higher assembly ) but what about the lower most assembly ? I think we have to do goods issue for lower assembly ( that is procured raw materials ) .
    Regards
    Neal .

    Hi Neal,
I Hope ur using collective order concept,
In a collective order, goods movements (GI & GR) are usually not required for assemblies that are directly produced.
When u do the confirmation for Lower level order, Produed assemblies will be issued to Higher level order directly, so manual goods issue  not possible for   assemblies to Higher level order.
U can confirm this, with Higher level order cost analysis after the confirmation of loer level order.
So need not issue the produced assembly to higher level order using the MB1A.
Only thing u have to activate  Collective order with goods movements  cjech box for Order type at OPJH .
For Lower level  order  (Assembly order ) good issue for   procured components of assembly  can be done using MB1A with MVt type 261.
I hope this will clear ur doubt if yes , Reward and close.

  • Plan cost on sales orders

    Good morning,
does anyboby know if and how is possible planning costs on sales orders?
Currently, sales orders are set as account assignment; actual costs are accounted without problems on sales orders and report KKBC_KUN properly shows costs. But no plan data.
Furthermore, we execute cost estimate on sales orders through CK51N.
Please tell me something more if you know.

  • Sales order does not allow make-to-order production

    Dear Friends,
I am trying to do do planned order for sales order in MD50 it was showing the error message as
"Sales order does not allow make-to-order production"
    Can any one solve this
    Shakthi

    Hi Shakthi,
It is also possible to set the priority for Requirement Type determination like
0 Material master strategy, then item category and MRP type
1 Item Category and MRP Type
2 as 1, with check for allowed requirement type.
The transaction for this is same as "Requirement Type Determination :
Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements --> Transfer of Requirements --> Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction
    Look for "Source".
In this transaction, Please, check "Requirements".
Please, make sure of the following 2 things :
    1. If you do not set an indicator for maintaining the requirements class: Transfer of requirements is not carried out, irrespective of the specification you make at schedule line level for the transaction.
So it is necessary to mantain the setting first at the Requirements Class. As mentioned in my earlier posts, the requirement class for the material can be found out from Planning Strategy / MRP3 view --> Main strategy (defined in the strategy group) --> Requirement Class for Customer Requirements.
The IMG path for "Define Strategy" is Production --> Production Planning --> Demand Management --> Planned Independent Requirements --> Planning Strategy --> Define Strategy.
    2. Once the "Requirements" indicator is set in Requirement Class, the requirements indicator at the Schedule Line decides whether or not you require transfer of requirments for the relevant transaction.
I hope this should solve your problem.

    Sandeep

  • AR Down Payment Invoice Does Not Reflect in BP Master Data...

We have placed a sales order for a BP.
We select payment means and accept the payment
In the background a AP Down Payment Invoice is created
When we view the BP master data - the account ballance window does NOT reflect this "down payment"
If we select the golden arrow at account ballance, uncheck "reconciled transactions" you can see the payment and AP down payment and they clear each other out.
The problem is that when the final invoice is created it is not obvious that a down payment has been received.  Even if you are simply working at the BP master data window, it is not obvious that a down payment has been received. I belive our process is correct because If you click the TDP box, the payment is listed and will be applied to the final invoice.
It simply does not alert the user that a payment had been received.
    What are we doing wrong?????\
    Thank you!

You are right this feature is only available in Version 2007A.  There account posting happen purely due to the pay SAP has been designed and the configuration of GL Accounts.
To make fundametal change to the core product is very difficult if you explain me your business process exactly as you do, I could think of alternatives.
    Please let know.

  • 802.1x accounting does not reflect correct port status

    Hi,
I've just discovered an issue when trying to use MSFT supplicant and Cisco 802.1x accounting. This makes 802.1x accounting completely unusable.
    Facts:
    1. MSFT supplicant does not send EAPOL-Logoff messages and there's no way to enable this (btw. Aegis client does not send it either, except when disabling interface).
    2. I am doing machine authentication along with domain authentication.
    3. Windows XP SP2 is used with EAP registry hacks applied.
    4. PEAP/MS-CHAPv2 method is used.
Now when the computer is started it is logged into 802.1x with 'host/machine' account and RADIUS accounting start is sent by the switch. That's fine.
When a user logs on with its 'domain\user' identity, then EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new EAP message exchange and the user is authenticated correctly. However the switch sends Interim Accounting still using 'host/machine' credentials which is obviously wrong.
Even more bizarre accounting happens when the user subsequently logs off from the machine. The EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new authentication process for 'host/machine' identity and the host is authenticated ok. The accounting being sent is:
    - first Accounting Stop for 'host/machine' User-Name
    - then strange Interim Accounting with most attributes empty or missing

  • Net Price does not reflect on Consignment PO even after maintaining info re

    Dear Experts,
I have created consignment PO but the net price does not reflect on it. I have already maintained valid consignment info record for this material with reference to standard purchasing organization in ME11.
    Would appreciate your views ...
    Cheers !
    Sachin Narvekar

    Hi,
the system behaviour is correct here.
The basic concept of vendor consignment lies in this.
In this case PO is a request to put his stocks at the company.
The moment we uses( Transfer from vendor stock to Company's own stock, using 411, or direct issue to cost centres using 201K) this stock, liability will be generated.
Then the price from the info record will be used as well as the tax code.
Then u can run a settlement transation , for payment settlements.
Until the moment u uses the stock, it will be vendors stock only, thats why only Issue create liability.
So the system behaviour is correct.
    Regards
    Krishna

  • Itunes does not reflect Books purchased

I have purchased books over a year ago using my iPad 2.  I can't see in Itunes books purchased over a year ago.  When syncing Ipad to ITunes Books library does not reflect the books purchased, Why? Does anyone know?
    Thank you.

    Hey there Fritzme,
It sounds like you are unable to download book purchases you made over a year ago. If you haven't already, I would check your purchased history with this article to see if you can find them there:
iTunes Store: See your purchase history and web order numbers
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2727
If you see them there but cannot find them to redownload using the iBooks app, they may have been hidden and can be unhidden using this article:
iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4919
If you cannot find it there either, then per the first article you may need to contact the iTunes Store support directly:
For help with an older purchase, contact iTunes Store support and select Purchases, Billing, and Redemption
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling
