Within music Library can anyone please explain why after I select the option to sort 'Album by Artist' a number of tracks are being treated as separate albums? How can I fix this? I have tried to manually correct by 'drag and drop' individual tracks but that doesn't work. My music library includes a number of repeat album artwork images simply because not all tracks are being listed under the one album making my library more difficult to use than it should. Just saw your thread, and it looked like a candidate for the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce Roll Back the Driver issue. If your computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card, then the following applies to you. You do not want to update the driver. Rather you want to roll back the driver version, probably to about May 2013. For your convenience I have done a copy/paste of the forum announcement which gives all the details and fix of the matter.
Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Video Card Driver Roll Back
If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere Elements 10. Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is expected moving forward.

A Director is a server running Lync Server 2013 that authenticates user requests, but does not home any user accounts. Lync 2013 Front End servers have the same registrar service and functionality
as the Director.
The Director isn't providing any special functionality. If the Director goes down, all pools would become inaccessible when the clients queried DNS for the SRV record until an administrator
makes a manual internal DNS change that points users to a Front End pool to handle the sign-in request from Lync clients. Microsoft has made the Director functionality relevant for organizations that have specific security requirements, such as allowing all
external users to register to a specific internal server instead of the Front End servers. This server role is merely optional and not needed for most Lync Server 2013 deployments.

Please explain why I have not received my $200 iPhone 6 Trade In Promo Gift card. I sent it to Trade In Center in packaging sent to me by Verizon on November 26, 2014. I have called the Trade In Support team 877-835-2024 to check status and receive a different response each time I call. 1)it was received and it takes weeks/months to perform analysis on the device 2) you sent it to the wrong address 3) just wait 4) i will 'expedite' your issue. I've asked to speak with supervisors and the CSR will not let me speak with anyone confirming 'you will just be told the same thing I am telling you'. Well - nothing ever comes of it. Please assist. I wanted to add my voice to the growing chorus of people complaining about VZW's trade in program. i received the exact same excuse for denying the full value of my perfectly good and DEACTIVATED iphone 4s.
i DID manage to get through to the trade in team, and after explaining the situation, i was told that my problem could be escalated the the tech team. the anonymous trade-in woman transfers me to the normal VZW cust support line... huh?
i wait again and finally get through. unlike the trade-in woman, the cust support rep immediately identifies himself. willie was as helpful as he was allowed to be, but sadly, that wasn't very much. the trade in people and VZW hold all of the cards.
THEY say that the de-activation lock wasn't turned off, i say it was.
there is no way to prove either assertion.
there is no appeal.
they just deny, deny, deny, as evidenced by all of the other complaints posted here and elsewhere.
willie WAS able however, to get me an additional credit for my 'inconvenience'.
while i genuinely appreciate his effort on my behalf, it doesn't absolve the company from the way they handle the trade-in program, whether it's farmed out to a 3rd party or not.
i will be filing complaints with the PSC, BBB, and NYS Att'y General. -

There are no options currently on the USA Apple online store site to pre-order unlocked iPhone 5's. The iPhone 5's currently available for pre-order are only availble by selecting a carrier and agreeing to a 2year contract. The prices listed are all contract-subsidized prices. -

I upgraded to windows 8 and didn't want to change to internet explorer 10... i needed to stay on IE8 for work purposes. what can I do about this? tried installing IE8 on windows 8 and it says IE8 is incompatible. Microsoft shouldn't

I do computer repair for a living and need my computer to act a certain way but when upgrading to Windows 8, IE10 was automatically added.We had issues like that at my work and we used Gmail. When we used IE 8 a message would pop up saying your browser is old upgrade to a more modern browser. SO we switched our standard from IE to chrome but I still have a couple of apps that require IE.

EMET 5.1 is crashing/not opening these applications on two of our staff workstations (Both are Windows 7 x86): Outlook.exe, Photoshop.exe and Communicator.exe.
One computer, EMET crashes Communicator and Outlook. The other Computer, the EMET crashes Photoshop only.
Obviously, it works for everybody else. Can someone please explain to me why would EMET crash these apps if it works for the rest? Could it be that it found a possible threat/exploit to the machine?
How do I mitigate this problem?

Can someone please explain what the following on/off toggles in Settings > Location Services > System Preferences do:
- Cell Network Serch
- Compass Calibration (self-explainatory, I think)
- Diagnostics & Usage
- Location-Based iAds
- Setting Time Zone (specifically, how is this different from Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically)
- TrafficNo, he is right. Cell Network Search collects signal and location data that is sent to apple and partners to improve network quality. If you do not believe us: try it! If you turn it off the A-GPS will still pick up cell towers and WiFi first to determine approx. location before using GPS satellite data. If it wouldn't it would take up to 12 minutes (!) to find you just using GPS satellite data. Or test it the other way around: Turn the status indicator on and watch it appear when your network changes...
May I also explain you the other options in that menu?
Compass Calibration uses location data to tell real north from magnetic north.
Diagnostics & Usage adds location to the other info that is collected.
Location-Based iAds - well shows adds relevant to your location in apps using iAds
Setting Time-Zone: iOS uses the info sent by GPS to set your time. But also most cell towers set time info, so if you are not living near a time line, in a bad service area or your current network provider does not send that info that info you can disable this and save battery by using your carriers info.
Traffic: Determines where and how fast you are traveling to send it to Apple and partners to show other users how fast traffic is moving at that location. -

System Update (5.02.0007) schlägt mir zur Installation folgendes Update vor: Windows 7 Update Module KB2615763.
Beim Versuch es zu installieren schlägt es fehl. Danach habe ich versuch es manuell zu installieren. Es erscheint das Fenster "Eigenständiges Windows Update Programm" und die Fehlermeldung "Das Update ist nicht für diesen Computer geeignet".
Finde ich sehr unschön. Wenn es nicht geeignet ist, warum wird es dann angezeigt? Könnte dieses Update das Problem beheben mit meiner externen USB 3 Platte, die nur an USB 2 Ports funktioniert?
