PO Confirmation Overview in EBP

Hi!
I have PO confirmation that has come from SUS to EBP (in ECS). How can see the confirmation details in EBP?
Now I can see it in PO History only.
Thanks and Regards,
Siarhei

Hi!
Yes, it should be, but when I choose 'Display confirmation' and click on search button I can see that selection is changed to 'Confirm Goods..' automatically. May be it is a system problem.
Thanks and Regards,
Siarhei

  • Confirmations/Invoices in EBP-SUS scenario

    Hi,
We are upgrading from SRM5.0 to SRM7.0. We are in extended classic scenario and would like to use EBP-SUS. Full functionality of SUS is not supported in EBP-SUS. Only order response is supported in standard EBP-SUS scenario. But we heard that it is possible to enable Confirmation/Invoices in EBP-SUS through BAdI and PI mappings. Has anyone done this before. If so could you share the procedure to enable the confirmations/invoices in EBP-SUS and any limitations on the functionality (like invoice reversals ..etc)
    Thanks
    Sukumar

    Hi Yang,
In EBP-SUS or commonly SRM-SUS scenario , vendors are replicated to the SUS system automaticallywhen you create them in SAP SRM using manage business partners web transaction. Ensure that you select the "Portal Vendor " checkbox while creating the vendor.
before that please  replicate company data to SUS using tcode BBP_SP_COMP_INI.
Also i believe you must have created vendor org structure in the SUS client.
    Cheers

  • Confirmation done in EBP but SES not generated in backend

    Hello Team,
Below is the scenarion (SRM 4.0 Classic)
    1. Number of confirmation have been done for Limit SC
    2. Some confirmation successfully generated SES(Service Entry Sheets) in backend
    3. While few confirmations have not successfully generated SES in backend.
Can anyone advise what is the issue and how it can be traced / resolved...
    Thanks,
    Dhananjay

    Hello Nikhil,
Correct me if I am wrong.
In this case the confirmation in EBP is for Services, and hence in backend SES would get generated, and once this SES is approved/accepted, GR would get posted automatically.
Also, the confirmations, which are successful, I am not able to find any IDOCs.
I believe the SES is getting created via RFC.
Pls help me know, in this case can I make use of this FM BBP_PD_CONF_TRANSFER_V2?
    Thanks,

  • Purchase Order to Confirmation Link in ODS 0BBP_CON

    Hi,
I am trying to get a link between confirmation and PO in ODS 0BBP_CON. I am extracting Confirmation data from EBP (Extended Classic) and corresponding data for PO from R3 through 2LIS_02_HDR, 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL. After loading data into 0BBP_CON ODS I noticed that Confirmation Number and PO number appear in seperate rows instead of one. The KF's match but Confirmation Number and PO number are not appearing in a single row which is leading to report inconsistencies.
Example of data records in ODS.
    (Conf No)-(PO No)-(COnf Qnty)---(Conf Val)
      4000123---  -    ---   2       ---   100
      -      -3500123-   2       ---   100
Did anyone face the same issue before? or is it just the way the extractor behaves. Any input is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pavan

    Hi Pavan,
I'm not quite sure I got what the systems behaviour is. The 0BBP_CON ODS in standard should have Confirmation data only, no PO data (PO data is just a reference of the Confirmation document).
So you're saying your 2nd entry doesn't have any confirmation info in it at all? What's the key of that record? Are you only populating 0BBP_CON from EBP?

    Hi
    Check help provided by SAP
    Monitoring Vendor Confirmations
    Use
The confirmation monitoring facility enables you to check whether the expected confirmations have been received and whether the delivery quantities and dates are as you requested. The list analyses that are available for monitoring purposes provide you at all times with an overview of the status of your purchase orders and their influence on materials planning and control.
    Prerequisites
_ Analyses are only possible for items having a confirmation control key.
_ You can specify the deadline for receipt of confirmations for each confirmation category in
Customizing for Purchasing (Confirmations _ Set up confirmation control under Confirmation
    sequence.)
You can specify in Customizing that you wish to see the following in the monitoring list,
    for example:
_ Which order acknowledgments have still not been received a certain number of days
    after the PO date
_ Which shipping notifications have still not been received a certain number of days before
    the delivery date
    Activities
To monitor vendor confirmations, choose <Purchasing document> ___Reporting___Monitor
    confirmations.
    Order Acknowledgment Expediters
    Use
You can send messages to vendors urging them to submit outstanding order acknowledgments.
You cannot issue such messages with respect to other vendor confirmation categories.
    Prerequisites
A prerequisite is that the Acknowledgment requirement indicator has been set in each relevant
    PO or scheduling agreement item.
    Activities
    <b>Choose <Purchasing document> _ Messages _ Monitor order acknowledgment</b>.
If the indicator has been set, the system proceeds as follows when the reminder program is run:
It checks whether the confirmation control key has been set:
    1. If it has not, it checks whether the acknowledgment number has been entered. If there is
no such number, a message urging the vendor to submit the overdue acknowledgment is
    issued.
    2. If it has, the sum of the quantities from all previous order acknowledgments is calculated.
If the result is less than the order quantity, an urging message (expediter) is issued.
Creating a PO or Outl. Agreement w. Acknowl. Reqt.
    1. Create a purchase order or an outline purchase agreement and maintain the items.
    2. Select the item to be acknowledged by the vendor and enter a confirmation control key in the
Deadline monitoring area of the item detail screen.
If the confirmation control key provides for the submission of order acknowledgments by
the vendor, and you wish to urge the latter to do so in the event that they are still
outstanding after a certain period of time, set the Acknowledgment requirement indicator.
    3. Save the purchase order.
If you wish to work exclusively with order acknowledgments (i.e. without using a
confirmation control key), your only option is to set this indicator. You need not make
    any other entries.
    Monitoring Confirmations
Monitoring Confirmations in PO or Outline Agreement
    1. Select the item for which you wish to see the accumulated confirmations and choose Item _
    Confirmations _ Lists.
    2. Then branch to one of the following lists:
    – Quantities relevant to MRP
    – Quantities that have been reduced/offset with regard to MRP
    – Cumulative quantities
A line from a PO delivery schedule covering 100 tons of steel is reduced to zero as a
result of the relevant order acknowledgment for 100 tons. The subsequent inbound
delivery of 100 tons in turn reduces the order acknowledgment quantity to zero, and,
finally, the GR of 100 tons completely offsets the inbound-delivery quantity.
Monitoring Several POs or Outline Agreements
    1. Choose Purchase order _ Reporting _ Monitor confirmations.
    2. Specify an interval of purchase orders and enter the category of confirmations to be
monitored (for example, AB for order acknowledgment).
    3. Choose Program _ Execute.
You obtain a list of all variant quantities and delivery dates.
    Manual Maintenance of Confirmations
    1. Change the purchase order or scheduling agreement.
    2. Select the item for which you wish to enter a confirmation and choose Item _
    Confirmations _ Overview.
    3. On the confirmation overview screen, maintain the confirmation category, date, time-spot,
and quantity, as well as the confirmation number used by the vendor.
You can also receive a confirmation with respect to a material with a manufacturer part
number (MPN). For more on this topic, refer to Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) [Page
    452]).
If you work exclusively with order acknowledgments (i.e. without using a confirmation
control key), enter the acknowledgment number on the item detail screen. This
number can be any identifier customarily used in your enterprise (e.g. the date of the
order acknowledgment or an external document number).
If you wish to enter the same number for each item, choose Edit _ Fast change.
    Quantity Checks
_ If a vendor notifies a quantity that is greater than the still-open notified quantity, the system
    issues a warning message.
_ If the cumulative quantity from all inbound deliveries relating to a PO item exceeds the order
quantity (taking the overdelivery tolerance into account), the system issues a warning
    message.
This warning can also be defined as an error message on a user-specific basis.
_ If the cumulative notified quantity is less than the quantity already delivered, a warning
    message is issued.
Depending on your settings in Customizing, an indicator showing whether or not the data in the
confirmation is used in materials planning is set in column D. If the indicator has not been set, the
    data is for information only.
In column E, you can see whether the confirmation was entered manually in the PO (1), or
generated automatically upon entry of a shipping notification using the function Create inbound
    delivery (2).
Creating Inbound Delivery Against Shipping Notif.
    1. Choose Purchase order _ Inbound delivery _ Create.
    2. On the initial screen, enter the vendor, the delivery date and the PO number. You also have
the option of entering a transport identification code (e.g. a vehicle registration number). In
this way, deliveries for several purchase orders can be grouped together.
If you do not know the PO number, choose Inbound delivery _ Select purchase orders
    and enter selection criteria.
    Choose Program _ Execute.
You obtain a list of the purchase orders from the specified number interval that contain
    still-open notified quantities.
Select the relevant purchase orders and choose Adopt selected.
    3. Press ENTER. The overview screen with the suggested quantities appears.
The default quantity is taken from the PO item. However, you can overwrite this
suggested quantity and enter a different unit of measure. In order for this to be possible,
the desired unit must be defined as an alternative unit of measure in the material master
record with the appropriate conversion factor.
All quantities (e.g. the notified quantity) are converted into the order unit and recorded in
the purchase order by the system.
You have a PO for 100 tons of Steel 1, and the vendor sends you a shipping
notification for 5 crates. You wish to enter the inbound delivery in the unit of
measure „crate“. The system checks whether the alternative unit of measure can be
converted into the order unit. If so, you can save the inbound delivery in the
    alternative unit.
A batch split can be made in the inbound delivery, which is taken into account in the
confirmation overview for the purchase order and at the time of goods receipt. If the
batch split is to be taken into account at the time of goods receipt, the confirmation
category Inbound delivery must be confirmation-related (GR assignment indicator).
    4. Check the data and make any necessary changes.
    5. Save the document.
After this, the confirmation overview is updated in the relevant purchase orders.

  • PO confirmation

    Hi Experts,
Is it possible to enter a confirmation at item level instead of at schedule line level?
If yes is there anything specific that needs to be configured?
    Thanks!

That is perfectly fine. Vendor can combine multiple schedule lines in one confirmation.
And such single confirmation can be posted against your purchasing document item level.
You can also check it out by creating confirmations manually (ME38 transaction). Such confirmation will appear in menu: item->confirmations-overview of purchasing document. Technically this is EKES table.

  • GR posting through a third party portal (EBP)

    Hi,
    Please help me out.
I have a situation like, I have to do GR from a third party portal called EBP(SHOPPING CART CREATION).
When I try to Confirm the GR, By using Purchase Order(EBELN) with Reference document Number(EKBE-XBLNR) first time it has to post safely after that if I try to post the same PO with same Reference doc number, need to get an ERROR message ( ALREADY RFERENCE DOC NUMBER USED WITH THIS PO )this is my requirement.
Fof This Process a Functional Module is triggereing in SAP ( 'MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT' ), In this FM 'M7' message class is using .
But I think as per my requirement I have to create a message class and keep a message (ALREADY RFERENCE DOC NUMBER USED WITH THIS PO )??????
I DID an Implesit ENHANCEMENT,  I used a ligic accrding to PO+Rference Doc Number posting and I created a message class with an ERROR message.
I verified by putting a Break point but this FM 'MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT' not triggering........
Please suggest me. What process might be here they followed to get an ERROR message.
Note: After click on Confirm Button in EBP portal, the check should be done in SAP tables data only, then enhancement will be trigger based on the data check?
    Thanks,
    Seethu
    Edited by: seethu2 on Feb 29, 2012 10:28 AM

    Hi,
If you are posting the GR from the external tool, then try to use External break point instead of normal break point.
Another thing, is try to post the GR manually from SAP login itself and check if the error is coming or not.

  • Three Errors in PO confirmation

    Hi
There are 3 errors in PO confirmation when I save PO.
    1. I saved one record (LB) in PO confirmation via ME22/ME21. and then I exit, and go to ME22 again, I can not see any record if I click menu item-confirmations-overview. Why?
    2. If I first click menu item-confirmations-lists-MRP relevant Qty, and then I again click menu item-confirmations-overview, I can see the record I saved. Why?
    3. after a record existed, if I again enter a record in PO confirmation via ME21N/ME22N, SAP will generate an error that update was terminated. Why?
    Anybody can tell me?
    Regards
    Henry

    Hi Henry ,
All the confirmations are updated in the table EKES.
I think after u saved the confirmation , at first u check it the above table as sometimes the system takes more time to update the table.
So whenever u are trying the view the PO the system fetches the data from this table.
For the update termination , goto Transaction SM13 to see the log and get it analysed by ur ABAP team.

  • PO confirmation problem

    Hi,
We are using extended classic scenerio,we have confirmed PO in EBP but the same isn't replicated in R/3.
Where to check and how to solve.
    Thank you.

for SRM confirmation to be updated as GR in ECC PO history
you should have distribution model in place with SRM as a sender and ECC as receiver.
message type MBGMCR should be assigned to this model and the model should be distributed to ECC.
corresponding inbound and outbound profiles should be created in resp systems.
in ECC you will receive an IDOC which you can check in WE05

    Hi,
We am running SRM 4.0 and R/3 4.6c in extended classic scenario
I have setup a user role  that contains the transaction BBPCF03. I have limited the role to one Purchasing Org. and one Purchasing Group within the Purch. Org.
When I search for PO's open for Goods receipt the Authorization check works for orders created in SRM (I only see the orders from the Purch. group that I want). But I still also see all orders that are created in R/3, despite what Purch. Org or Group that have created them.
