Possible scenario's and handling in SNC5.1

We are preparing for Go-Live and want to prepare in advance for Interchangeability scenario
1. What kind of scenario's we can expect in case of interchangeability?
Is it possible to list the cases and solutions as per case.

Ok... the "Operator not drilling to KM steps" thing must have been some funky client tool issue... today it worked fine.
So.... more details:
- The job references an object from a model that points to the Logical Schema called ORACLE_BANNER_VIEWS. There is another Logical Schema in the topology called ORACLE_BANNER.
- I cannot tell which Logical Schema the failing step (create view on source) is using... it just says ORACLE_BANNE... and then gets cut off, because the UI widget isn't wide enough and can't be made wider.
- The "invalid user" being referenced in the execution log is called ETL_USER. That user is in fact tied to the ORACLE_BANNER schema, but not the ORACLE_BANNER_VIEWS logical schema tied to the failing job.
It's as if the job is using the wrong Logical Schema.
I've asked the DBA to try deleting the scenario and re-importing, but meanwhile... thoughts on the above?

  • Throw exception in Java mapping and handle this in BPM

    Hi,
    I'll use a Java mapping in a BPM transform step. Is it possible to throw an exception inside this Java mapping and handle this in a BPM exception handler?
    thanks and regards
    Verena

    Hi Verena,
    In a BPM transformation step, I think you can throw exceptions only for system errors.
    Let me explain with an example, one of the ways to handle your scenario:
    Lets assume your Java Mapping fails then you can trap that exception in your Java mapping and compose an XML message which indicates that an error has occurred.
    say for e.g.
    <intermediateStructure>
    <SatusDocument>
    <StatusCode>ERROR</StatusCode>
    <ErrCode>123</ErrCode>
    <ErrDesc><!populate the thrown exception details></ErrDesc>
    </StatusDocument>
    <Payload>
    <!contains actual XML message with data>
    </Payload>
    </intermediateStructure>
    if Java mapping is Successful, you can compose the XML message as follows:
    <intermediateStructure>
    <SatusDocument>
    <StatusCode>SUCCESS</StatusCode>
    <ErrCode>0</ErrCode>
    <ErrDesc></ErrDesc>
    </StatusDocument>
    <Payload>
    <!contains actual XML message with data>
    </Payload>
    </intermediateStructure>
    You can use BPM switch operation to switch to different processing branches say for e.g. "error" branch or "success" branch by examining the value of <StatusCode> tag.
    Hope it helps !

  • Archiving process for batch and handling unit

    Hi Guru,
       Need your help in achiving process. I would like to achive batch and handling unit information in SAP. Is it possible that, I can just achive these information without archiving sales order, inbound delivery, outbound delivery and etc document ?
    If there are 3 line item in sales order document, only 2 line item are shipped and 1 still open, for this scenario can the batch and handling unit information be archive. Or all the line item for that sales order line must completed then only can be archive.
      Pls advise.
      Any information will be appreciate.
      Rgds,
      LH.

    unfortunaltey to archive boms you have to archive alle predecessing documents before you can start this one.
    go to transaction SARA for object MM_SPSTOCK and click the button for 'Network Graphic'. it will tell you very colourfull what you have to do before attempting to archive boms.
    same goes for handling units, object LE_HU. Check in SARA.

  • MTS with batch management, serialization and Handling unit

    Hello All,
    I am testing a scenario for MTS with batch management, serialization and Handling unit for discrete manufacturing.
    Everything worked fine till I created the Handling unit for the finished product.
    The production order has a quantity of 3 EA.
    It has three serial numbers 1, 2 and 3. (serial numbers can be displayed from order->Header->serial numbers)
    I created one Handling unit for production order quantity of 3 EA.
    I tried to do a goods receipt for the production order using transaction COWBHUWE.
    I get the following error when I try to post the GR:
    Only 0 serial numbers entered instead of 3
    Message no. IO304
    Diagnosis
    There is a serial number obligation, so the number of serial numbers must equal the number of serial numbers in the material document.
    You can post the operation only if you entered the correct number of serial numbers previously.
    System Response
    Depending on the context in which the error arises, the system continues processing, or the required function cannot be performed.
    Procedure
    You have the following options, for example:
    Check that the serial numbers are entered fully.
    If necessary, display an error log.
    If necessary, contact your system administrator.
    What did I miss?
    How to fix this problem?
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance
    George

    I added the serialization procedure HUSL to the serial number profile and it fixed the problem.

    Hi
    Thank you for your post.
    The reason why your contacts didn't display is currently the Tamil language is not supported by the Windows 7.5 OS and we do not have any information if this language will be supported in the future or not. The current list of supported languages are:
    Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish.
    In regards to being a smart phone, these come from a variety of manufactures using a variety operating systems each having there own unique way of functioning and features and as such it is the responsibility of the consumers to make an informed choice on what device would suit them based on specifications of the device which includes hard ware or software. There is no unified smartphone requirements as each use's different operating systems.
    So when purchasing a new device it is advisable to do some research on what device would suit your needs and if need be to speak to your local authorised mobile phone retailers for there expert advice. If at the point of purchase you were mis-advised and told that the Windows OS did support the Tamil language then this is something you will need to go back to the point of purchase otherwise it is your responsibility to make sure you choose a device that fully suit your needs.

  • How to report possible Port scanning and DOS/Fraggle Attack??

    I have been experiencing lag while surfing the internet. One temporary solution was to get a new IP from VZ but this fix was short lived. So I became curios and dtarted to log connection attempts to my router and noticed what I saw resembled port scans and even a Fraggle/DOS attack at times. I am posting my routers log below and would like to kno how to go about reporting this abuse and what I see as malicious activity?

    You're getting hit from IPs from everywhere, so there's no true person to ask in regards to this. Whoever had your IP last was probably up to no good, or it's possible for some reason your IP was targeted. Might also be possible that whoever had your IP last was running servers. My Dedicated server gets hit with this nonsense all the time. Sometimes it's an issue with someone trying to DoS one of the game servers I run on it. Causes lag for only a few seconds before the hardware firewall in front of the server kicks in and handles the rest. China I actually wound up blocking access to entirely for a month or two since I've hardly seen anything that wasn't a port scan or an SSH/FTP hacking attempt.
    A few of those IPs are owned by Google and Microsoft, which implies there was probably an HTTP server at one point running on the IP you're using now.

  • Is it possible to LOAD and INSTALL applet during pre-personalization?

    Hi Friends..
    Currently, i use JCOP card
    I want to know the other way to LOAD and INSTALL applet not through CardManager..
    I mean, is it possible to LOAD and INSTALL applet during pre-personalization time?.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    i want to LOAD and INSTALL Applets while pre-personalization phase..
    No, i don't want to defer the LOAD and INSTALL..In the past, we have used the pre-personalisation phase to load KDC keys onto a card and remove the ISK and set issuer specific identifiers (IIN and CIN) etc. You could also load your applet at this time if you wish. You can also load the applets at personalisation.
    How do you plan on doing the personalisation phase? If you were to use a GP scripting environment for example, the CAP files are embedded as a part of the install scripts and only loaded onto a card when you begin executing your personalisation scripts. Since I assume you will be using the small desktop printers mentioned in a different thread, you may be better off integrating the applet loading into your personalisation code (printer integration) so you do not need to double handle cards.
    Actually, is it possible to LOAD and INSTALL applet if we don't authenticate to the CardManager?..There are ways to load and install an applet without explicitly calling INIT UPDATE and EXTERNAL AUTH, but you still need to be authenticated to the card manager, otherwise anyone could manage card content. You can use install tokens and delegated management (which are all outlined in the GO Card Spec).
    Cheers,
    Shane

  • Get current step number and handling max steps exceptions

    We are using IPCC Express Premium 4.0.4 and would like to know:
    1. Is it possible to determine the execution number for the current step? For example, x number of steps have been executed up until a certain point in the script. Possibly via a Set step using Java or a DB Read step?
    2. When the system parameter "Max Number of Executed Steps" limit has been reached the exception "com.cisco.wfframework.obj.WFMaxExecutedStepsExceededException" exists within the CRS Engine MIVR log. This exception does not exist within the available exceptions list in the "On Exception Goto" step. Is there a way that we can intercept this specific exception or will we have to use the "com.cisco.app.ApplicationTaskInactiveException" exception instead?
    We have been experiencing stuck Reserved agents and periodic callers stuck in queues, which has been occurring due to the maximum number of executed steps being exceeded. We have increased our "Max Number of Executed Steps" parameter from 1,000 to 2,500 for the time being and we may need that higher still.
    Our script has a lot going on after every 30secs of hold music....to determine if notification pages/emails need to be sent out to Help Desk staff due to long wait times, or to play updated status prompts only when appropriate....to name a couple. To our knowledge we have made things as efficient as possible (using Sessions) and we will be making a few more tweaks, but nowhere near enough to stay under the default 1,000 limit.
    I asked question # 1 to help us better assess what our step execution counts are for different logic scenarios, rather than manually trying to count the steps within our script. I asked question # 2 so that we can send pages/emails to ourselves if a WFMaxExecutedStepsExceededException exception does occur and include the phone number of the caller who would have ended up not getting through so we can call them back not long after.
    Thank you for any info you can provide!
    Tom

    I'll try and answer the issues in this thread in turn:
    ----->Sadly this is not in the On Exception Goto step. Several people have commented on this to Cisco and I would recommend you join the crowd. Talk to your Cisco Account Manager. If you are a partner, submit a well thought out request to [email protected].
    "Our script has a lot going on after every 30secs of hold music....to determine if notification pages/emails need to be sent out to Help Desk staff due to long wait times, or to play updated status prompts only when appropriate....to name a couple. To our knowledge we have made things as efficient as possible (using Sessions) and we will be making a few more tweaks, but nowhere near enough to stay under the default 1,000 limit. "
    ----->You should be using sub flows for this type of work. Sub flows are a separate script and as such, have their own maximum step count each time you call them. Put all of this extra logic into a separate script and call it each iteration through the queued loop.
    "In most of the cases,you should not hit the 1000 step limit unless there's a loop in the script."
    ----->Exceeding this is not recommended by Cisco as it increases the amount of memory being used by each script instance. I would proceed with a great deal of caution.
    "I want to check to see if the caller pressed 1 (to leave a message type functionality) anytime during the queue loop. Not just when a delay expires and a prompt is played. This easily exceeds the default max steps. "
    ----->The common way of doing this is uploading a WAV of your music on hold to the prompt repository and then using a Get Digit String step with the MoH WAV file as the prompt for it. This allows the caller to press it at the IVR is essentially always waiting for a DTMF digit. You can use Match or If statements within the Success branch to determine if they pressed the correct digit.
    "Where I can make the max steps very large ?
    I am using CRA3.5.
    Please help ASAP,
    Thanks"
    ----->Again, not recommended! You can almost certainly break your script into appropriate functional components and use subflows to drastically reduce the likelihood of hitting the maximum.

  • Is it possible to add and view your key words when creating a web site from Lightroom 4?

    Is it possible to add and view your key words when creating a web site from Lightroom 4?

    Hi,
    I had the same problem with
    "java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientimpl.html.uielib.standard.uradapter.ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.getContent(ViewContainerUIElementAdapter.java:98)"
    when I included ViewUsages dynamically in an action handler (outside wdDoInit()).
    The code below fixed that problem.
    This code creates a new OutboundPlug for the embedding view with the embedded view as target and fires the plug.
    <i>// Create OutboundPlug
    IWDOutboundPlugInfo outboundPlug = embedderViewInfo.createOutboundPlug();
    //Create navigation link
    rootViewUsage.createNavigationTarget(outboundPlug.getName(), interfaceViewUsage, "Default");
    // fire navigation link
    wdThis.wdGetAPI().firePlug(outboundPlug, Collections.EMPTY_MAP);
    </i>
    I hope I could help you. Probably you don't need the information anymore, but perhaps anybody else has the same problem.

  • Possible scenarios with XI, SAP AutoId, RFID combination.

    Hi All,
    Could you please provide the answers to the below questions
    1. What all possible scenarios we can do with SAP AutoId using RFID datas?
    2. I would like to do scenarios with and without SAP Netweaver XI for the above case. Please provide some scenario examples.
    Regards
    Sara

    Hi Sara,
               The possible scenarios of SAP Auto ID are many. You can have a detailed documentation on th esupported processes by SAP Auto ID on the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_autoid70/helpdata/en/5f/064f36300247b686bf0233454dbeb1/frameset.htm
    Without using XI, you will not be able to integrated with SAP ERP.
    So only process thats possible wihtout XI in SAP Auto ID is Slap and Ship Process. The same process has also been explained in the above link.
    I hope this helps. Please revert if you any other doubts.

  • MIRO - DUTY and Handling Charges

    Hi there,
    I have to do an invoice receipt against an import PO.
    I have duties and handling changes which were not originally mentioned in the PO.
    GR is done
    How do i account for this information (duty and handling charges) in the Invoice Receipt MIRO transaction?
    This information needs to be captured in the respective accrual accounts.
    If my PO is for 100 USD, my invoice total amount would be 100 which will result in the following accounting entries
       DR - GR/IR =    100
       CR - Vendor = - 100
    I should also have the following entries,
    CR Duty Accrual - 20 USD
    CR Handling Charge Accrual - 30 USD
    How do i handle this scenario?
    Thanks
    Bala

    Hi,
       If the question is pertaining to import duties in India use the following:
    JCV1-IN CVD
    JECV-Edu Cess on CVD
    J1CV-Sec ECess On CVD
    JCDB-Basic customs Duty
    JEDB-ECess Basic Customs
    JSDB-Sec ECess on BCD
    JCDS-IN Special customs
    JADC-Additional Duty
    These all import conditions are delivery cost in nature and need to have accural key.
    Only the planned conditions means that are part of PO get settled in GR and LIV, rest becomes the unplanned in nature.
    Delivery cost conditions cannot entered once the PO is created.

  • Newbie: how to temporary results and handle sessions running UNIX commands?

    Hello,
    I have just asked a question concerning launching UNIX commands using Java classes, see thread "_https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2429211&tstart=0_".
    I have followed the mentioned advises (using "bash","-c" parameters) but now I have stumbled into other issues:
    My intention is to write a UNIX class, that can handle UNIX commands, in order to be used in other Java programs, so that the following example becomes possible:
    UNIX.launch("cd /var/core");
    UNIX.launch("rm obsolete_core_file");
    UNIX.launch("sqlplus <Oracle_database>");
    UNIX.launch("select * from cat;");Unfortunately I have stumbled into a strange behaviour: until now, I have created the UNIX class as a single class, containing a "main" method. When I launch the following commands:
    java UNIX "cd /var/core";
    java UNIX "rm obsolete_core_file"I have the problem that the "cd /var/core" command is executed while UNIX class is running, but afterwards I jump back to my current directory:
    pwd => current directory
    java UNIX "cd /var/core" (this is executed, e.g. verifying "ls" output)
    pwd => current directoryI would like to have:
    pwd => current directory
    java UNIX "cd /var/core"
    pwd => /var/coreOne other thing is the handling of sessions: until now, when I launch following commands:
    UNIX.launch("sqlplus <Oracle_database>");
    UNIX.launch("select * from cat;");Then I get into a "sqlplus" session, but afterwards my Telnet session hangs. Is there a way to see that I have fallen into a session, and handle it? (Exit, launch internal session (SQL-plus) command, ...)
    Thanks again

    DominiqueWhy not just use plain java File I/O http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/io/fileio.html and JDBC http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/jdbc/basics/processingsqlstatements.html for fulfilling your requirements?

  • Possible Scenarios

    Hi,
    I got some thing in my mind, when i am reading about XI. What are the possible scenarios will be needed for a given business requirment, i have some business requirment with me(ofcourse its not real, just an idea out from my mind).
    First: Lets assume there is some Truck manufacturing company called <b>XYZ</b>, which spreaded its business all over the world. which has truck making units in Europe, America and Asia. Its using SAP R/3,SAP R/2 systems & Legacy systems
    It has sales locations, dealers (assume they using <b>Web Based</b> and <b>Thirdy Party</b> systems)
    Got some suppliers too, assume they are using standalone (third party) systems and receive & send the data by any other means.
    Now, this <b>XYZ</b> company wants to integrate its R/3, R/2 Legacy, Thirdparty, Standalone, Web Applications using SAP XI.
    What are all the possible scenarios needed to integrate all these things and which funtional areas? For example if we take Main Office of XYZ and one Supplier location, what are scenarios we wiill have.
    Suggest me, The reason why i need like this becuase, want to deal XI in real time way..
    Thanks in advance.
    Jen

    HI,
    If you are talking about Suppliers, vendors etc, then XYZ company can go for mySAP implementation first (SRM etc) then you can communicate with XI , by webservices, proxies, RFCs,Idocs etc. Because for many of the SAP application components, SAP provides predelivered content.
    If your implemenation is global across the geographies, then XI can act here as a centralized integration platform.
    I think, it is better to go with Case studies for a Manufacturing Firms. here you go ~

    This is just my views

    I have an external hard drive, from Iomega. that I can open and see my files. However, I cannot copy or save any file to it. On my PC I have it says that is possible to read and write in it, but in my Mac, it says I can only read. can somebody help me?
    Also, Im a photographer, so I like to name a lot of files at the same time (used to do in on PC and it was very usefull.) cannot find out how to do it on my Mac. Really appretiate if some one can give me a solution! Thanx

    Your drive is formatted with the NTFS file system.  OS X can read but not write to the NTFS file system.  There are third party drivers available that claim to add the ability to OS X to write to an NTFS partition.  I have not tried them and don't know if they work.
    The only file system that OS X and Windows can both write to natively is the FAT32 file system.

  • Can you view text outside of the canvas? as with the view menu you can see animation paths, bounding boxes and handles??? many thanks

    can you view text outside of the canvas? as when using the view menu you can see animation paths, bounding boxes and handles???
    I'm in the middle of a text animation design treatment and unless my memory is completely failing I thought this was an option.
    An example would be selecting all layers and being able to see all bounding boxes and animation paths while moving along the timeline.
    Of course this could be quite a mess if you couldn't selectively chose which layers, its just with this current project it would be so helpful if
    I could see the text beyond the canvas to aid in my animations.
    many thanks,

    thanks for both of your responses
    I do understand shift + v " to "Show Full View Area" and shift + z to fill screen, etc.
    and command + & - for zooming
    what I'd like to do is selectively view, say, the text outside of the canvas as you can see the bounding box
    which contains the text or object when selecting one or all layers in the layers column
    I haven't used this feature in a while though I do recall using it in the past.
    Any help would greatly appreciated
