Premiere elements 10 just started crashing cannot even create a new project

Premiere Elements 10 (mac) all of a sudden will not do anything but open and then crash. It doesn't matter if I open an existing project or even start a new one. As soon as you name your new project and hit save it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the same thing is happening.

Xcode 4.3.3 crashes when i create a new project

Hi, i have installed xcode 4.3.3 on my iMac to start programming for iOS. I also have the latest version of Lion 10.7.4 installed. Yesterday i tested xCode for a few minutes and everything worked fine. Today, i wanted to start programming but everytime i create a new project to xCode crashes. What can i do now? The main reason i bought the iMac is to start programming for iOS. I really need your help right now to solve this problem.

Does Xcode crash if you create a Mac Cocoa application project? If not, there could be a problem with the iOS SDK.
Try deleting Xcode's preferences file and restart Xcode. The preferences file is in the following directory and has the name com.apple.Xcode.plist:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences
If deleting the preferences file doesn't stop the crashing, try reinstalling Xcode. If reinstalling Xcode doesn't work, create a new user account and install Xcode on that account.

Adobe Encore CS5 (Mac) crashes when I create a new project

Hey everyone,
I am running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.3) on a MacBook Pro (Spring 2011).
I just installed Encore CS5 fresh off my Master Collection CS5 DVD. When I open Encore and start a new project, once I have my settings configured, I click OK. It waits a few seconds, then Encore crashes. Adobe Application Manager sees no updates available (so no bug fixes, apparently?). What's the use if I can't even start a brand new project?
I know my details are vague, but if anyone needs additional information, let me know and we'll try to get this solved.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Are you saying that you did not install the whole MC? Have you installed at least Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder?
I wnder if there is an install issue. Encore is only provided with Premiere, and I don't know what happens if it is installed without it.
If that is not it, look at this. It is not specific to Encore, but may be relevant.

IMovie crashed and will not create a new project

I was in the middle of working on a project and when I went to add a clip, it said something along the lines that I couldn't put it there and then closed the program. When I was able to open it back up, I tried working on it but it couldn't find the clips, and later on the actual projects. Now, I am unable to even create a new project.

It is actually on a MacBook not on Windows 7

There is only a button "OK", but either I press or not the installation won't go on.
I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. The problem occurs at premiere elements 9 and Trial 10 (downloaded version).Changing compatibility to Vista or XP doesn't help too.
What can I do else?

stopping virus scanner and firewall before installing doesn't help. And I can't find a Windoes Installer package for Win 7 (Ultimate 64-bit), the last one I'm able to get is 4.5 and this can't be installed on Win 7 (the actual Version is V 5.0.7601.17514 ).
I also tried "unregister/regserver" for msiexec and "sfc/scannow", both as administrator, but no results.

What computer operating system is involved? I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit for now.
If your Premiere Elements 9 was registered when first installed, the serial number for it may be at Adobe.
Please go to the Adobe web site http://www.adobe.com, sign in with your Adobe ID and Password, in the Search field type My Products.
Then follow the My Products link to your products. In the Your Products list find Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and click on it to reveal the serial number.
After Premiere Elements 9 is installed, remember to download and install the 9.0.1 Update from
Adobe - Premiere Elements : For Windows : Premiere Elements 9.0.1 update
I have assumed that your program is on a Windows computer.

Getting the message Adobe Premiere Elements could not start after silent install

I am getting the following message after running a silent command line installtion. The coomand line I am using is
setup.exe" /S /UL1033 /V"/qn COUNTRY=244 SERIALNUMBER="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" the x64 on Windows 7 64-bit.
After manually running the set-up.exe installer located in the ElementsSTIInstaller folder, Premiere elements launchs.
What is the cause of the error after running a silent installion?

First we need to check , whether the LAN settings is set to detect settings Automatically or not.
Follow below steps .
1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .
2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.
3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.
4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .
5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.
Then launch Premiere Elements 12 and try to sign in.
If the settings were already set like that or you face same issue after signing in , let me know

'serious error' when creating a new project in adobe premiere elements 10

I saw similar questions on the forums but not quite what is happening with me.
First off I should say i've never had this working however the copy of premiere elements 7 we had worked perfectly fine. I am a technician in a school and i'm trying to install the software for the students (we have lots of lisences). The software appears to install perfectly fine and the launcher works. I click to create a new project (or open an old one) premiere appears to load up correctly. It only crashes once I click to browse for a location to save the file.
The error message says, as i've noticed seems to be a generic message for any error on premiere: "Sorry, A serious error has occured that has caused Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project"
At first I thought this was student user rights (as students do not have access to C:\) however I have since tried it with my own admin account which has full rights and effectively should be able to do anything and it still continues to crash.

i had the same problem before using a fresh install of Windows 8.1. I have resolved this issue by running the program compatibility wizard. This I did by right-clicking on the iTunes icon in the desktop, selecting Troubleshoot compatibility, waited for it to detect compatibility issues and when presented with the following options: 1.) Try recommended settings; 2.) Troubleshoot program, I chose the latter. When asked what problems I noticed, I checked the following: "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run" and "The program requires additional permission"
After that, it tired to resolve the issue, and provided the necessary settings to run iTunes. Now it's running flawlessly. I have Avast anti-virus installed though.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.
