Premium Account - Non-working subscription

I recently upgraded my account to skype premium with unlimited calls to Croatia. It seems it doesn't work since I still need credit to make landline calls to Croatia.
Did I buy the wrong subscription? Where do I check that? Or, do unlimited calls apply only for certain time?

I purchased a Premium account on Feb 14, 2014, which was paid for on the same day according to my bank records.  I have not been able to use the group video call feature since then (and, yes, I do have the latest version of Skype on my Mac and my husband's PC).  When I attempt to add a second person to my video chat calls, I get a pop up page saying that I need a premium account... and there's no indication on my account page crediting my sign up or payment.
I was able to access the Live Chat feature to see if someone could help, only to get a "We're experiencing problems, try the Community Support page" message.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with someone at Skype who can give me the service for which I've paid?

    I have Premium so I can video conference once a week with colleagues. For the first time today we couldn't get everyone on video and we kept getting ads popping up for Premium, even though I have already purchased it. Tbh I'm pretty miffed that I'm paying for this to use once a week and then it doesn't work!!

  • Premium account not working-purchased last night

    I am new to Skype. I purchased a premium account last night so I can make call to family. I can not get my account to work. Half of the time it shows my premium account the other half it doesn't. When I went to set up and choose my country of choice for call it keeps bringing up a error message.

  • Premium account activated. shuffle only on iphone

    Hi
    I have activated premium account a few hours back. I've got receipt and online says premium.
    My iPhone app appears to allow shuffle only so looks like premium account not working.
    Have tried logging off, uninstalling app, reinstalling and logging back in. No joy.
    Hope you can help.

    Thanks all. I think it may be OK and I was just being a little dumb..
    When I reloaded my iphone app after switching to premium I was expecting the big 'shuffle play' option to be disabled - but apparently it seems like this is default design?
    I have found how to disabloe shuffle and how to play an album in sequence.
    I have also worked out how to create a playlist and go offline - so I guess my preium acount is working OK.

  • Completely frustrated with downloan not working and deleting and attempting to reinstall resulting in three different accounts on my computer and none working.

    I downloaded Firefox mobile to my Droid. Connected to computer and followed instructions, using code provided on phone. Did not work. I tried to re-sync phone. It didn't work. I deleted Firefox on phone and reinstalled app. The connected phone to computer to re-sync. Could not get anything to work using"I have an account" tab so opened up another sync account. It didn't work. I deleted app again and tried again and used a third sync account to sync phone with computer. I got nowhere. Completely frustrated with three sync accounts and none working.
    Need help to delete all accounts and start over. Can't seem to find a way to do this.

    I tried this (opening in Photoshop CS5 and resaving as jpg) as you mention:
    The remedy to this problem has usually been to open the image (the one that is having an identity crisis) in Photoshop or another image editor, and simply resave it. You don't need to edit it or rename it or anything--just open and resave.
    Re-imported and it does work fix (I get picture1 and picture2 instead of  just picture1 for all pictures).
    Having said that, I looked at all the file properties I could for:
    picture1.jpg (original)
    picture1.jpg (resaved in CS5)
    To see what changed. All are properties are identical (color depth, pixel size, etc.) except that resaved image is ~20% larger (I saved max file size jpg in CS5).
    So original is ~6MB
    resaved jpg is ~8MB
    So the question - why can't CS5 premiere import these directly (with resaving?) and what is working with the resave that locks up the first time?
    These pictures are straight from a Canon 50D, with no editing or resaving - dumped off camera to computer.  I can reproduce this error 100% of the time (new project, new folder, import 2 pics) so it isn't something goofy with the way I'm importing - 100% how premiere is handling this.
    Very disappointed that I now need to open/resave/rerender each of ~1100 images to simply use them.  Given that these jpgs are being produced by a mainstream camera with support image format.
    Any thoughts?

    but as i have implemented the sample code given there(copy & Paste) the functionality seems to be not working.
    the productive hours maintained in the transaction /SAPAPO/RES01 is 8.5 hrs.
    previously the system was considering the productive hours as 24 and was calculating.
    after implementation of the notes if I specify a 4 days offset iam getting 3.5 days offset .  for 6 days its 5 days offset.
    does anyone faced this issue.
    Any help will be highly appreciated.

  • Canadian Premium Account - Will it work while I'm at college for 4 months in the States?

    I'm thinking of switching to a premium Spotify account for offline content and no ads. However, I will be in the US for the fall semester and I'm wondering if there will be any complications with that? Last year at college I would switch my country because you only get 14 days for traveling. Do you get more with the premium account? Also, will there be complications with payments/deals?

    As long as your payment details stay the same you are free to use your Spotify account abroad with no limits. The 14 day limit you experienced last year was because you didn't have premium and you were abroad, with premium there is no limit. Spotify will just keep charging your account for premium no matter how long you are in a different country. :)

    Will one Premium account and multiple non premium HD accounts work for video calling? Basically the idea is 10 HD skype devices, the set top boxes connected to tvs will dial into one Premium Mac or PC account for multiple video conferencing.

    Yes, one user needs to have a Group Video Calling subscription.
    Unfortunately, not all devices support Group Video calling (TV's for example, do not).

    I am developing an ios application which has non renewable subscription.
    Which algorithm would be best if the very time an authorized user purchase my application after paying charge for it , can download it for other devices assocated with him for free?

    Thanks! I see a potential problem--iTunes must be open on the main(?) other computer for sharing to works, according to some of the documentation. My situation is that daughter 1 grabs the main computer, access iTunes and her account. Then daughter 2 comes into room, screams upon seeing daughter 1 using the iTunes computer.
    I want daughter 2 to calmly walk to computer 2, open iTunes and somehow seamlessly access her iTunes library. In that case, iTunes may be open on computer 1, but not with her library open or her id in force. It might also be the situation that computer 1 does not have iTunes even running at that time, if daughter 1 is on Facebook.
    Can Home Sharing handle this situation?

    Hi,
       I dont really want to buy a premium account for sharing screens with multiple people. I am using that not that often Why cant I pay it on the go per session ???
       Are you planning to implement this ?

    Screen share between mulitple people is a Premium subscription benefit as sharing a screen is considered a video feed, and multiple video feeds require a Premium subscription regardless of whether you are referring to the video feeds as a video call or screen share.  Skype has not announced any plans to make paying for this feature  available via Skype Credit only. 
    Remember this: only one person participating in the call where three (or more) video feeds occur must be a Skype Premium subscriber.

  • Skype Premium Account; still getting pop-up ads.

    Ads are popping up in the client for Skype credit and Skype premium, despite having a paid premium account in good standing.  I contacted support and was told by two different agents that I had to purchase Skype credit on top of the Premium account to get rid of these ads. 
    http://www.skype.com/en/premium/ specifically states that a Premium Account has NO advertisements, not SOME advertisements.  This smacks of false advertising.
    In addition, I get an error pop up in the client if I try to save my options settings with call forwarding enabled that states "You need to have some Skype Credit to forward calls to mobiles or landlines" despite that being included in my premium subscription.  I can set up call forwarding via the website with no trouble, and it works fine, but then I am unable to change my skype settings without deactivating it and going through the whole process again to get it active.

    Hello, guys. Tell me plaese, why if I am paying 6.99 EUR monthly for Premium Account, I still see advertising? Isn't non-advertising one of the features which you sold me for this price? O_o
    (offensive text removed) Skype company are just so smart that you can sell to clients non-advertising accounts and show your own advertising without clients permission?
    How to turn it off AT ALL? I would like not to receive any notifications from the Skype except communications with my contacts list! For me, as costumer, it does not matter which advertising I see. Is this third-party organization or just Skype advertising.

    Skype Numbers are separate "stand alone" products and are charged separately. They are for inbound calls only and are regular landline numbers.
    The cost of calling a Skype Number is whatever the caller's carrier charges to call that number.
    You can have a US Skype number in Singapore (or anywhere you happen to be). Your location is irrelevant. Skype Numbers are not included in a "Premium" Subscription.

  • Premium Account Question

    Hello! Got a small question. I currently have a premium account and I want to make calls to Japan. In the prices section for premium, I see it has unlimited calls to landlines for Japan. I'm just wondering, will I still need to buy the Unlimited Japan plan to talk as long as I want or am I covered under the premium plan for this? I don't want to end up making a call only to find out that I'm being charged for it so I wanted to be sure about this.

    As I understand it, if you make a mistake in choosing a country during the Premium sign-up process, you can immediately contact Skype Customer Service to change the country.  Once the subscription is in use, however, you cannot.

  • Can't Call Mobiles From My Premium Account

    I have a premium account which is working fine for land lines but will not allow mobile calls from Phillipines to Australia.   
    I did this successfully previously (a couple of years ago) but it required one type of subscription for landlines and a different one fo rmobiles
    Those options don't seem to exist any more - It's all bundled into "premium" now - but not working as it once did.

    Are you using bellsouth's outgoing server? Sometimes with both dial up or cable modems you have to use the company's outgoing server to send mail.
    Due to the cable companies that provide my internet, I've never used the smtp.mac.com to send mail from my home. It's like smtp.cox.com or smtp.suddenlink.net. There should be something available to you by phone or on bellsouth's website to make sure you have the right outgoing server. This might especially be the problem if you can receive mail through the mac mail application, but can't send anything out.
