Price Condition entry in Accounting doc.

Hi Gurus,
Need help !!
During pricing, there is one condition Z123 determined and user adds one more Z123 to get desired amount instead of changing in existing condition.
Z123 = 200
Z123 = 22000
When this is posted to accounting, different behaviour is observed:
Some of the document show one line item in accounting document with amount 22200 (both amount gets summed up, which is correct)
While, some of the accounting document shows two separate line items one for 200 and other for 22000 with same GL account (which is weird)
Any suggestions why the multiple line items gets displayed in accounting document for similar condition types.

Please check whether your payment terms are different for these docs. And where you find this discrepancy, are they related to installment payment terms.

  • Business area not appearing against VAT entry in Accounting doc for Invoice

    Dear All,
    We have configured Business areas,
    When we post an invoice with multiple line items and open the Accounting document for this invoice we find that Business area is visible against Freight Amount and the ,Sales  A/c but that no business area is appearing against the Vat payable amount in the accounting doc.
    Why so?
    what should we do so that system determines the business area against the VAT Account also.

    This could be due to two reasons
    1)  If one invoice contains multiple business areas, only blank space will appear in accounting document.  To avoid this, invoice split should happen based on business area.  Invoice split can be done through VOFM data transfer - billing document.
    2)  If a particular G/L Account is assigned in multiple Business Areas, this problem will come and you need to apply Substitution Exit RGGBS000

  • Fix value header price condition

    Hi all,
    We have a header condition price that is a fix value. However, it takes into account the number of positions.
    For example, let's say that this price condition is 1. There are 10 positions and the price of all of them is 10, so the gross amount is 100. The value of this condition is 1x10 (number of positions) instead of 1.
    Does anybody know why this price condition takes into account the number of positions if it is a header fix value?

    System does not make any changes to existing document. All the changes are applicable to documents created after changing material master etc...so in your case there will be no change on existing PO and corresponding Goods receipts.

  • CRM 5.0 ISA insert new price condition from order entry screen

    In CRM 4.0 we wrote a custom field on the order entry screen that shows the list price (sub 1),  we allow the user to change this value (inserts a PB00 price condition in the item pricing) and validates the change is within a certain % of the list price.
         The jco method we used in 4.0 no longer exist in 5.0, been using the 55 page IPC VMC PDF in note 809820 but still can't figure out how to replicate.
        Any help on what class / method might help us insert a manual price condition from ISA would be appreciated.

    It could be possible to use CRM BAdI to do this function.

    Please throw some light.
    If my invoice is carrying 100 line items, how am I able to consolidate my accounting doc’s entries in 1 G/L account such that instead of having....
                    DR          Accts Receivable              $1000
                    CR           Sales                              $20
                    CR           Sales                              $25        
                    CR           Sales                              $15
                    CR           Sales                              $40
    .... I wanted to make it
                    DR          Accounts Receivable      $1000
                    Cr            Sales                           $1000

    My invoice will have several line items and once it generates an accounting document it will post SALES entries for each material line item.
    Ex. Here what's happening:
    Invoice 1000001 customer JOhn Smith
              material 1      $100
              material 2      $150
              material 3      $100
    Acctg Doc 10000001
              Debit John Smith  $ 350
              Credit Sales $100
              Credit Sales $150
              Credit Sales $100
    How possble to make it summarized:
              Debit John Smith  $ 350
              Credit Sales $350

    when r line items in Accounting doc gets generated for a billing doc.
    for ex. if there exists a Billing Doc with 2 lines
    is there any relation to the item in the Billing Doc
    to the Accounting doc line items.

    Hi,
    In some situation it is possible that there is a link but in the most situation you use summarization to minalize the number of line items created by invoice (like one line for VAT, general discounts). The total ammount from the customer is the same as on the billing document.
    When you want to have details by line you can found them in CO-PA.

  • Accounting doc entries not matching with the the entries from j_1ipart2 entries

    Hi,
    After creating PO, I have done MIGO and J1IEX. Now, posted MIRO. The end screen shows a number stating accounting document created.
    I checked the accounting doc in fb03 and the document is displayed over there. I also checked the table for values captured in PART2 of excise. The value displayed in table is not matching with the value displayed in accounting document. Can anyone help?

    Here is the updated version of the situation.
    After the transaction J1IEX, I got a message saying an 'Accounting Document' has been created. But the accounting document number does not match with the original values. I checked all the tables and found out that the accounting document is not created.
    In this case, I thought of creating an accounting document manually and adding them directly to the table.
    Here are my questions,
    -Can I manually create an accounting document for multiple line items?
    -Few tax values should be split and should go to 2 different GL accounts. so how to do this if I am creating it manually
    -Or can I delete the values captured during 'J1IEX' in the table and reopen the GR so that the t-code j1iex can be processed again?

  • Sales doc copy control not working with price condition

    Here's the situation.
    For OR sales document I have  Procedure ZSALES and price conditions Z001
    For a QT Sales document I have Procedure ZQUOTE which does not have a Z001 condition in that procedure.
    If I create an OR (with the proper customer / matieral) the Z001 populates, based on it's defined record.
    If I then create another OR with reference to the original OR, the Z001 populates with no problem.
    Up to now everything's fine, now here's the probem......
    If I create an OR with reference to a QT, the Z001 does not populate in the OR order.I know there is no Z001 in the QT for it to copy from, but if I do [New Pricing] in the order it still does not come in.(I've tried [new Pricing] with Pricing type A..G)
    I have found OSS Note 413066, but this is in reference to 46c systems. we are on ECC 6.0
    any ideas ?

    Hi Bill,
    If PP assigned for both are different it's not going to populate field even if you are redertermining price, since it would be following the PP of Quotation (ZQUOTE), not Sales Order (ZSALES) because it's gonna copy the elements of that PP in order. Are your PP assigned are same or different?

    Please open the document through VF03 -> go to -> line item details -> see the conditions
    List down the values against condition (Non-statistical conditons) and check the accounting postings

  • Prices&Conditions - Unable to Copying Conditions

    I have an issue that when I try to use 
    Tx VK12
    Price Conditions PR01
    Sales Org GAMB
    Dist Chan ES
    Customer account 1----
    I highlight materials where conditions are applied and I try to copy over to other customer accounts (at this point I click the icon Copy Condition) but the following message appears:
    Copying is incomplete because no rules have been defined.
    Copying rules for condition type do not contain A 1 V 2 PR01 3 entry
    The same process is successfull when applied to:
    Tx VK12
    Price Conditions PR00 (instead of PR01)
    Sales Org GAMB
    Dist Chan ES
    Kindly explain why is this issue could be arrsing with condition type PR01 and not with PR00 and how can solve it.

  • MR21 - 2 accounting docs generated

    Hi all,
         I have a question regarding MR21 - Price Change in MM.
         User has used MR21 to do price change. Since the business can only know the new price at month end, so user will only do MR21 on the following month. For example in the beginning of Nov, user will maintain new price for the month of Oct.
         Therefore, when he does price change in Nov, he puts posting date of Oct, since the price is still belongs to October's price.
         However, by doing this, at Finance side, there are 2 accounting documents generated with opposite entries (eg: 1st docs Dr Stock Cr Price Difference, 2nd docs Dr Price Change  Cr Stock) which brings the balance to zero. This will then eliminate the required update in FI side.
         Questions:
    1) Why by putting posting date in previous month will cause 2 accounting docs ? What is the logic behind this ?
    2) If we put posting date of current month, how does system deem the price change is actually for previous month's ?
    3) If user already caused 2 accounting entries, what should we do to correct it ? Reverse one of the entries ?
         Kindly advise.

    SAP values all inventory movements "real time"
    Oct transactions were valued at the standard in place as each transaction happened.
    When you use MR21 and back date the posting, SAP does 2 things:
    1 - Revalues the inventory on hand at the the value entered into MR21
    2 - revalues the inventory to "today's" standard
    Example:
    Part ABC,  Standard on Nov 1 - $50/ea; inv on hand 100 value of inventory = $5,000
    MR21 change standard to $40, posting date Oct 31
    posting one is credit inventory $1000 dr price change $1000
    Because the standard on Nov 1 is $50, the system makes a second posting to debit inventory $1000, crd price change $1000

Reverse one of the entries ?</b>  If you want the Oct month-end inventory to be $40 and go forward in Nov with $40, you will need to make a second MR21 transaction with a posting date of "today" changing to $40, if the qty is still the same the price change in November will net to zero.

  • Price condition equal to VPRS cost of goods

    I have a senario ,which we will create sales orders for customers with sales price equals to the MAP(moving average price) at the  time when the SO being input .And the sales price in sales orders should be copy to the billing whether  the MAP has changed or not .
    Now I have set up an pricing procedure ,which  use  VPRS  as the sales price condition type ,but here comes another question when I create billing according to the delivery . When I create the billing document ,the net value is defferent with the net value of the sales order ,because the MAP has changed during the goods issue.
    Is there any idea that can make sure the sale price equals to the MAP , and the billing net value is same as sales order net value?

    The pricing type (Copy control)  is an extremely important field. It is worthwhile keeping this entry
    in mind when creating your pricing condition types. As a rule of thumb, you should
    have all item categories for a particular sales document with the same settings.
    Generally, you may use pricing type B (carry out new pricing), G (copy pricing
    elements unchanged and redetermine taxes), or C (copy manual pricing elements
    and redetermine the others).
    When using condition B all manual pricing condition types are lost.
    If you want to copy the sales order to the invoice without changing the sales order
    conditions, use pricing rule G. This will copy the pricing conditions from the order into the
    invoice without changing them, but will redetermine the taxes.

    I need to know if there is a way to bring prices over on the IDOC while posting a sales order via EDI. I have a situation where the price does not have to be determined based on condition records setup within SAP but rather update the price sent on the IDOC itself.

    Hi,
    Let the inbound Idoc have the price field and the price of the material. And keep the price condition type open/manual entry allowed. Once this is done the system will not do it from the condition record and will populate the data that is there in the Idoc.

    While creating PO, Price conditions flow from Purch.info record.
    My requirement is => In the Item detail Conditions Tab, the price should not be available for editing (i.e.it should be in display mode) at end user level. If we need to modify the Amount against any condition it should be done only in info record only.
    How to address this requirement.

    1. Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Authorization Management > Define Function Authorizations for Buyers > Function Authorizations: Purchase Order > Here "New Entries" and define Function Authorization Key as "01" and give description.
    OR use T. Code - OMET
    Here under "General parameters" subscreen,
    Activate "Display conditions" indicator and assign Field selection as "$DE1", do not select "Enter conditions"
    In "Possible ref. objects", select "W/o reference" otherwise reference documents (for e.g. PR, RFQ, etc...) for PO creation will become mandatory.
    2. Now go to SU01 > Enter User ID > Parameters Tab > Here for Parameter ID EFB i.e. Function Authorization: Purchase Order, maintain value "01" and check in PO field selection will get applied for that user.
    Now check in PO, Conditions will become in display mode.

  • How to block post price conditions in purchase order

    I need to block post price conditions in the purchase order, after doing MIGO.
    The problem is that somtimes buyers people go to the purachse order with ME22N, even if MIGO has already been made for this purachse order. They change The amount of certain price conditions in some or all the posts of the purchase. when people of accounting receive the invoice, there are problems of price differences.

    The system will not allow to change the price once goods receipt takes place on that particular order.  It happens only when we reverse the reciepts and make the po open.  In such case the persons can change with ME22N.  Its simple that only authorised user to have this transaction code and other users should not have this transaction code authorization.
