Print document type Q02( technical delivery terms)  with Purchase Order

Hi all
1) I have activated the QM procurement for a certain material and I have assigned the control key that makes mandatory the technical delivery terms on the material master (standard control key 0002).
2) I have created a Document Info Record Q02 to hold the Technical Delivery Terms assigning a PDF file. Document is released.
3) I have assigned the DIR to the material master (object link in the DIR).
I would like to know how to print the this DIR with Purchase Order. I am testing this scenario in IDES system and the form does not get printed.
Could anyone please advice how to get the PDF file printed with the purchase order?
Thank you

Hi Sappmqm,
There is no internal way, you would have to create an ABAP program to handle this function, where it would search the material record to pull the DIRs linked and then open them on user's screen for printing.
Additional SAP add-ons are available as 3rd party apps, can click my name and contact me for more detail if you like.
Good luck.

what is quality agreement and technical delivery term?

    Hi Rupali,
Quality aggrement document type is used in Quality Info Record. If you maintain control key regarding Quality Aggrement you must maintain the Quality aggrement otherwise PO or GR will be blocked.
Technical dele term are maintained in Material master-->additional data -->documents.
if you select the control key which has reference of Technical dele term you have to maintain this in MM otherwise PO or GR will be blocked.

  • Sales document type ZA99 cannot be invoiced with billing type LR

    Hello Guys
I am getting this error even if i have configured billing. Please help. Here is the error
'Sales document type ZA99 cannot be invoiced with billing type LR'
    Thanks
    Venky

If your process chain is like ZA99 (order) -> ZL99(delivery) ->ZF99 (billing) -> LR (invoice List)
Then your copying control settings should reflect the same flow.
VOV8: delivery and billing types to default as above
    VTLA: set up for ZA99 ->ZL99; VTFL: ZF99 ->ZL99; VTFF: ZF99 ->LR
Since no copy control settings for ZA99 ->LR, itemCa at VOV7 is not order-rele billing, and no default value at VOV8, it can not be copied.
If you do want to invoice your order directly like service item scenario, make customizations accordingly.

    Hi,
    1. Check which variant is assigned to your company code '1000' using this IMG path
IMG->Financial Acctg (New)->Financial actg global settings (New) ->Real-Time integration of Controlling with Financial Actg ->Assign variants for Real-time Integration to Company codes.
    2. Check if document type is assigned to the variant assigned to your Company code in this path:
IMG->Financial Acctg (New)->Financial actg global settings (New) ->Real-Time integration of Controlling with Financial Actg -> Define Variants for Real-Time Integration.
    Hope this helps.

There is a documentation available for this BAPI and there is an example (although it is a bit confusing). You need to send the folowing parameters:

    Parameter: POHEADER
    PMNTTRMS             =                    <payment term value>
    Parameter: POHEADERX
    PMNTTRMS             =                    X
Declare your structures/tables using the same type as in BAPI - just copy/paste.

    Commitment
    Definition
Identifies costs that will be incurred in the future for materials and services that you have requested or ordered. Commitments reserve funds that will become costs at a future date.
    Use
On the account assignment objects, Commitments Management portrays the cost side of the procurement process for MM Purchasing. The costs incurred are assigned to business objects, such as orders, cost centers, or projects.
In Commitments Management, you can specify which object the costs are to be assigned to (for example, purchase order costs). In this case, this is known as an Initial Account Assignment.
Commitments Management distinguishes between three types of commitments, depending on the account assignment object:
    Order Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to an order.
    Cost Center Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to a cost center.
    Project Commitment:
The commitment is initially assigned to a project, or to a work breakdown structure element.

    Integration
    Commitments occur
    In Purchasing, due to:
Purchase requisitions (purchase requisition commitment) define the internal requirement for a material or a service. Purchase requisitions have a control function and you change them at any time.
    Purchase orders (purchase order commitment):
Purchase orders are contractual requests to a vendor, to supply certain goods or services according to the agreed conditions. No short-term, unilateral changes can be made.
due to funds commitments (commitment for funds commitments):
    - You can use Funds Commitments to reserve funds for costs you are fairly certain to incur, but you cannot yet assign to a specific business transaction (such as, a purchase order or a purchase requisition).

  • Delivery Address in Purchase order

    Hello Expert
    Delivery address on purchase order.
I am trying to make changes in Delivery address tab at item level  for Intercompany purchase order but the changes are not reflected in print preiview.
But the same changes I am trying to make in delivery address for standard purchase order and Servie order
Changes are refelect in print preiview.
Can you please guide us what must the settings which are not affecting changes in Intercompany purchase order.
    Thanks in advance
    Abhi

The print preview (or the print itself) is generated via a program assigned to an output type. If you have a custom format, it is possible that the program does not pick up the delivery address from the PO item, but from somewhere else (probably plant address).
You will have to check the smartform and its driver program for this purpose.
You can get the program name / smartform name from the output type configuration (check the output type that gets triggered by clicking the messages tab).

  • Payment terms of Purchase Order and F-47

    Dear All,
How can we link Payment terms of Purchase Order and Advance Payment made thru F-47.
i.e if we have given payment terms in Purchase ORder as 50% advance then by advance payment (F-47) we shall allow to pay only 50% of Purchase Order value as advance.
How / where can we define this type of setup.
    Regards
    Swati

    hi,
There is no  way in the system to restrict the payment amount to 50%once, it is mentioned in the payment terms as 50% advance. System does not have control tocheck and avoid the full payment

  • How to execute availability check against delivery date in purchase order

    Hi all
In MD04, I know that "available date = delivery date in purchase order + GR processing time" & "GR date = delivery date in purchase order". When I execute availability check in production order, I will get material's committed date = available date. But I hope to get material's committed date = GR date in purchase order.
For example. delivery date in purchase order is 2012/02/06 and GR processing time is 2 days. After ATP in production order, I will get committed date 2012/02/08. But I hope it show 2012/02/06. How to customize it.
(The GR processing time must be set 2 days for MRP calculation. it can be changed to 0.) Thanks!!

    Hi Rita,
One Doubt, If you say that material commited has to be the GR date and you do not wish to wait for GR processing time, then why do you have the GR processing time in first place.
For ex. My client, we get the stock as per GR in Quality inspection and so we have GR processing time considered for available time in MD04. But since the business considers the Inspection stock as avialble, The stock gets reflected in avialibility check the moment GR is done.
So please explain your requirement in detail. There could some way to do so. If not the raise an issue with SAP.

  • Condition Types appearing two times in a Purchase Order

    Hi,
The condition types are same in supplementary schema (for Info Record) and Purchase Order Calculation Schema. When I put some value against a condition type under conditions in Info Record then that condition type appears 2 times in the purchase order. It seems the condition type appears 1st time (with value from Info Record) because it is picked from Info Record and 2nd time (with no value) from the Purchase Order Calculation Schema.
The requirement is condition type should appear only single time in PO (by default) with or without value in spite of having info record. In case some value is maintained in Info Record then the condition type should appear with value but in a single line in PO which can be edited if required. There should not be second line of same condition type by default in PO.
Can anyone provide some idea to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

There is only 1 condition line (apart from PB00), which comes 2 times in PO by default, in MEK2 and also one condition line (one line was deleted and then saved) in last PO (from the Info Record). But the condition type still comes 2 times while creating a new PO.
Please provide some more answer to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance
