  • Print 2 copies of check for payment

    Hi,
I need to print 2 copies of check (one for supplier and one for accounting) on a laser printer but SAP don't permit me.
    Do you have an idea?
    Thank you,
    Frédéric Marchand

    Bonjour Frédéric,
You can only print one copy of cheque (Checks for Payment) if you are indicating "2" copies in Document Printing. If you change the number of copies in the printer window (i.e. where you select the printer, etc), you will get 2 copies of the cheque. If you are printing off multiple cheques, you will probably need the alternate pages to be blank paper (don't think the Collate option will work since check is probably 1 page).
Another option -  your Accounting dept may be okay with the Outgoing Payment report/template.

  • Printing Copies of Checks Consecutively

I need to print 2 copies of each check in a consecutive format. For example, if a payment batch has 3 payment documents and that the payment batch has been built, formatted and confirmed, I will need to print 2 copies of each check in the following format:
    Check# 1, Check# 1, Check# 2, Check# 2, Check# 3 and Check# 3,
Please advice if this can be accomplished. Thanks.

The solution was answered in another thread, do a search of the "3 copy display in single click "
I have tried it and it works.
    The solution is as follows:
Assuming that you want to display the copy name in the Start of Report (SoR)
    1) in the Display Document Properties>Paper Format>Number of Copies = 3, this defines how many copies will be printed
    2) Place a formula field in the SoR fldCopyName, set its formula as CopyNumber()
    3) Place a formula field in the SoR fldCopy1, set its formula as fldCopyName == 1
    4) Place a formula field in the SoR fldCopy2, set its formula as fldCopyName == 2
    5) Place a formula field in the SoR fldCopy3, set its formula as fldCopyName == 3
    6) Place a Text field in SoR and type in your Copy Name in the Content Tab and set the Link to fldCopy1
    7) Place a Text field in SoR and type in your Copy Name in the Content Tab and set the Link to fldCopy2
    8) Place a Text field in SoR and type in your Copy Name in the Content Tab and set the Link to fldCopy3

  • Printing multiple copies of a document in 2-sided format

We have several multi-function Xerox printers in the office.  I have an adobe acrobat file with two pages.  I am trying to print 20 copies of this file in two-sided format.  I have selected 2-sided and changed the number of copies to 20.  The printers only print one copy.  I then tried to print 20 copies of single sided stapled.  Again only 1 copy is printed.  If I select single sided unstapled then I can print the 20 copies.  What is the issue?

Have you checked the 'Properties' in the Print dialog box? Depending on the printer, there may be an option to print on both sides.
Additionally, is duplex enabled on the printer? If there is a front end on the printer, the selection would be in the queue the file is submitted to.

  • Laserjet 5000 with windows 7 driver cannot print multiple copies unless disabling mopier

Customer has Laserjet 5000 that they have been using for approx 5 years. It is connected to one computer with the standard parallel cable and the driver is using lpt1. It is used mainly to print word documents and a multi page publisher document. The computer used to be a windows xp computer and all  worked  well with the PCL6 driver and that is the only driver that was used
They just bought a new Windows 7 32 bit computer and now it has lost some of the functionality.
The first driver that was loaded was the driver that Windows 7 used after you use the windows update button that you get during the add printer wizard. I think it was the pcl 5 driver as that is the driver that the computer will install if you remove the printer and then restart the computer. Using this driver, when you choose to print more than one page or multiple copies, it will just print the first page or copy and there will not be any errors displayed.
I have since downloaded the PCL6 driver, PS driver and PCL5 driver from HP's website and tried all of them.
The PS driver will print more than one page, but when it gets to about the 4th page the printer prints out an error page. The error is PCL XL error, Subsystem: Kernel, Error: Unsupported protocol, Operator 0x0, Position:0
The PCl 6 driver will print the same error page and not print any print jobs, even if it is just a single page, single copy job.
The pcl 5 driver prints one page and then stops printing, no errors.
When I disable the mopier under device settings, the pcl5 driver will print everything just fine. Only problem is, it will not collate. The collate checkbox is available and checked when we try the multiple page multiple copy publisher document, but it just prints out as if we do not have collate checked. If we could get collation to work, than we are good to go.
I have not tried the PS driver with the mopier disabled.
The PCL6 driver stills returns the pcl xl error with the mopier disabled.
The printer does not have any extra memory, just the 4 mb standard that came with the printer. I am wondering if this is a memory issue triggered by Windows 7and I just need to get more memory for the printer. (Computer has 4 gb of memory)
Anybody else have a similar issue and got theirs fixed?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi jnickelsen,
I understand the printer won't print multiple copies.
    Thank you for your reply.
I will be happy to help you with this.
This printer doesn't have the Mopier settings.
    What drivers are you using?
Did you download the drivers or are you using the Windows preinstalled drivers?
If you are using the Windows preinstalled drivers then I would download the latest drivers. Here is the URL for the HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver.
I would download and run the Print and Scan Doctor since it might resolve the issue automatically.

  • HP Laserjet P3015 double sided - the last odd page prints on the same page when printing two copies

HP Laserjet P3015 double sided printing is set up on Windows 7.  When printing two copies of a document, if it has odd number of pages, the last page is printed on both sides of the page. There is no page feed for the last page.
Suppose say there are 3 pages in a document and you want to print two copies. It prints like 1/2, 1/2 and 3/3.  The third page (odd number) print on the same page. The last page page does not print on two pages.
It works alright on Windows XP.

Hope that you have configured the correct paper type and size in the printer hardware and also selecting the same paper tray, size, type from the printer driver while printing.
It may be caused due to the job formatting done by the application software or some jobs settings done from the job/application or printer driver.  Check by toggling the 'collate' option and also try to print from a different application software.

  • HP printer will not print multiple copies of docs using new HP Pavilion HPE Series PC.

I purchased a new HP desktop computer with Windows 7.  I connected my existing HP laser jet printer to the new PC and the drivers installed successfully.  When I want to print multiple copies of a document the printer only prints one copy and stops.  I can print multiple copies on my Kodak color printer from the new PC.  I did not have this problem with my old PC.  The issue only exists between the new PC and the existing HP laserjet printer.  I have checked all printer preferences and settings to no avail.  Any suggestions for further trouble-shooting?

  • Unable to print multiple copies of documents on Win7 machine with Office 2010

Since upgrading to Windows 7, I have been unable to print multiple copies of documents in any MS Office 2007, 2010, Word Pad or Adobe Reader 9.  I also experience the same problem if I print from Word Pad.  The issue appears to be associated with the Collate Option in the Print Dialog box.  If the Collate box is checked, I only get one copy of the document.  If I uncheck the Collate box I get as many copies as I choose.   The problem is that with the Collate box unchecked, I have to collate multiple copies by hand, and with 10 – 20 copies of multi-page documents that can be quite a chore.
The ironic thing is that MS Visio 2003, on the same machine, prints and collates as many copies as I choose, with the Collate box checked.
I can print multiple copies of Word 2003 documents from my wife’s Win XP machine to the same printer, but not from my Win 7 machine with Office 2010.
My printer is an HP LaserJet 1320nw and I have downloaded and installed the latest printer drivers from the HP Web site.
Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so, are you aware of a solution other than unchecking the Collate box?

I have the same issues with my LJ1320. I have Office 2010 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.   However, my printing problem is more widespread since I have been unsuccessful at printing multiple copies of all types of documents, not just from  Office 2010.  For example, I have the same problem trying to print multiple copies from  Internet Explorer.
I also have other problems printing  from Office 2010 that you may not have discovered yet.  I cannot print Excel spreadsheet grid lines from Office 2010 if those documents were originally created in an earlier version of Office.  I tried saving them as Office 2010 documents and also using compatibility mode but nothing worked.  These same documents print fine on the same printer from my laptop which uses Windows Vista and Office 2007.  Also Excel spreadsheets originated in Office 2010 print nicely.
Looks like HP has a few bugs in their printer drivers.
I note that HP released a new Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5x64 on Feb 18, 2011 (Version 5.2.6).  Have you tried it yet?

  • Anyone succeeded printing N copies with DocPrintJob ?

    Hi,
I am trying to print multiple copies of a given file to a printer.
    My code is "classical" :
         DocPrintJob pj = services[ij].createPrintJob();
         FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(fileName);
         DocFlavor flavor = DocFlavor.INPUT_STREAM.AUTOSENSE;
         Doc doc = new SimpleDoc(fis, flavor, null);
         HashPrintRequestAttributeSet printRequestAttributeSet = new HashPrintRequestAttributeSet();
         printRequestAttributeSet.add(new Copies(copiesInt));
         pj.print(doc, printRequestAttributeSet);
I never get more than one copy printed. I have tried jre 1.5, 1.4 .
This is supposed to run on a Windows platform. I test it on a Windows XP SP2.
    What might be wrong?
    Thanks
    MJ

Hi back everyone.. Just in case you see this post, I found the solution for the problem.
    Steps:
    1. Open the photos you want to print in Preview, all at the same time, by selecting the 4 and dragging them onto Preview's icon
    2. make sure the 4 photos are selected and press cmd + P (to print)
    3. On your printing options, select the paper size, in my case I used 4x6, make sure center image is checked, Scale to fit: fit entire paper
    4. Make sure you select print 4 images per page, in the left side of the print window you'd be able to see a preview of what your print will look like, that's 4 photos, with no space aprox size 3x2.. you have to make sure though all your photos are rotated to landscape (horizontal)
    5. press print.. voila.. you'll get 4 3x2 photos, in one 4x6 paper, with no paper wasted...
    Hope this helps..

  • Printing muiltiple copies in Illustrator

Hello I am having an issue printing multiple copies in Illustrator. I am able to print one page fine without issue, however if I try and print more than one I run into issues. An example would be that the second page that is printed is reversed and then the other pages seem to get cut off. I am using an up to date Leopard system and I am using CS Illustrator version 13.0.2.
My printer is a Xerox 7400N which has up to date drivers including an up to date firmware. I have even unchecked "Open in Rosette". Any help would be great as I have tried everything that I know, Googled and still couldn't find much help.

It's not a bad idea either to print one copy after you've checked all the settings in the print dialogue window and then save immediately (Or just Done and Save). If you say Print again you will get the same settings as you saved, so you won't have to start from scratch in the dialogue every time you print. Makes troubleshooting easier.

  • 6110 All-in-one sometimes will not print multiple copies

I have had this problem for sometime now. I searched the forum and found the Mopier solution for laserjets, but the 6110 does not have this setting.  The same question regarding the 6110 went unanswered in the only post I found for it.
I am using the 6110 on WinXP Pro and connected by USB
Often times when I try to print multiple copies of a document (MS Word or MS Works as examples) I check 2 copies in the selection box but the printer only prints one copy. I then have to click Print again.  What is strange is, sometimes it performs fine and others it will not print more than one copy at a time.  Sometimes it SEEMS that if I change the "collate" checkmark it works, but proper functioning does not seem to be able to be recreated every time.
I do not get any error messages, the darn thing just acts like I have 1 copy selected rahter than two. I notice that when this happens and I go to print a second copy, the dialogue box has reverted back to 1 copy, but in those few times when it DOES print 2 copies, if I go back and select Print, it still shows 2 for the number of copies.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance

    Hi there,
To make sure the software side of the house is in order lets try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03275041&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en
It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.
    Best of Luck!

  • Hot to Print 3 copies of Invoice in separate trays from HP Laserjet Printer

My Customer needs to print three copies of the Invoice in different color paper. The paper is loaded in the three trays in the printer and we need to tell the printer from Business One to send the three copies, one for each tray.
The printer is HP Laserjet P4015 tn.
    Many thanks...

    Mauricio
it is not possible to send print to three different tray , current limitations in printer setup can only select which printer the data must be sent we cannot direct 3 pages to three different tray
but you can have solution like
    1) arrange the invoice paper such that each color is kept next (eg blue-pink-green again blue-pink-green and blue-pink-green...)
2)check with printer vendor for any such setting in printer so that you can send each page to different tray
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Output Device prints 3 copies of each print out

    Hi Frnds,
We are facing a problem with the output device.
When we try to print anything from SAP to an out put device, it gives us 3 copies of same printout.
We tried with smartforms, sap scripts and even a normal print request from the anywhere in SAP. For the particular output device it gives 3 printouts.
That output device is configured to a particular printer here in the user location.
We have also tried couple of other things,
Made that particulrt printer as the default one in our operating system (Windows) and printed using LOCL output device. It printed only one copy.
Made other printer as the default in Windows and then print using LOCL output device, now again it printed only one copy, to another printer.
Since it prints 3 copies of the same thing from anywhere in SAP with this op device, We think that there is no problem in Print programs or in Output condition configurations.
The spool that gets generated out of this request says "No. of copies" 1.
Not really sure where its going wrong. We think the problem is somewhere in Basis settings.
If any one has faced this kind of issue can u please let me know how we can rectify this?
    Regards,
    Karthick C

    Hello,
Are you using Access Method G for the output?
If so you can check if the following setting was set:
    set use_copies = N (where N = number of copies) in
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPlpd\SAPLPD
Check the SAP note: 1149136 also.

    Double click on it,
